“I had heard amazing things about this winery from other locals in Sonoma, but finally decided to check it out for myself! Laura was amazing in helping me select/book our tasting, as they have so many incredible options. We decided to book the ‘soaring’ experience, which included the most delicious, unique, flavorful food and wine pairings. I am truly still dreaming about every food pairing we had, I felt like I was in a Michelin star restaurant. The curry was definitely the star of the show for me, but every single bite/sip we had was truly exceptional.
Allie warmly welcomed us to the winery and made sure to encourage us to enjoy the (STUNNING) grounds both before and after our tasting, while handing us a delicious glass of bubbles to enjoy.
Taryn and Michael were the most personable, knowledgable hosts- we really enjoyed learning about the wines/winery, but also just talking and laughing with them. We never had empty glasses or had to wait for service- they were perfectly attentive while still giving us space to enjoy our experience.
The entire staff was very generous during our visit, including a few extra tastings of their personal favorite wines. I really appreciate that they invite every type of experience you could want- whether that be enjoying a bottle with friends while playing a board game, or treating yourself to a special food and wine pairing experience- all at a very welcoming price.

“Our tasting experience with Kyle was exceptional! Not only were the wines on point, you could really sense Kyle’s passion for DRNK and the industry in general. I was immediately won over when we were offered two different bubbles to start and our crew really appreciated how informative yet informal the experience was. It truly felt like friends chatting about food, wine, and culture while sipping some of the best juice around. So glad we found this place!

“We spent a few days in Russian River and had a recommendation to visit Bruliam Wines. We signed up for a tasting and had a WONDERFUL experience! Our tasting was just the two of us and Kerith the winemaker. Her wines are excellent and we learned a lot about the region. Kerith also gave us a tour of the winemaking facility, which was fascinating. We HIGHLY recommend taking the time to visit Bruliam Wines! Kerith’s passion about what she does and being able to spend time with her was a high point of our trip.“

“When we stayed in the Sonoma/Healdsburg area, our resort concierge recommended that we try Gary Farrell as one of our wineries to experience while we were in the area. This was our first stop and it was an amazing winery- only open for reservations only (no walk-ins).

We arrived a few minutes before our tasting and were warmly greeted by the host staff and shown to our table, overlooking the beautiful Russian River hillside area. The views from the winery are absolutely outstanding.

We learned from our host that the owners of the Gary Farrell Winery don't own any of the vineyards, they only procure the grapes and they're the wine maker. The wines were all drastically different and some of the best Chardonnay's we have had on any of our tastings we have done in Napa.

The host was so knowledgable and very warm and friendly. We went away with a new found appreciation of their winery and purchased a bottle of wine to take home with us for a Christmas gift. Gary Farrell is truly an amazing winery and I highly recommend trying it if you're in the area! We look forward to returning!“

“Sept 18, 2025 my wife and I were on our 1st full day of California, Napa, Sonoma, Santa Rosa, Petaluma area- WINE Country after traveling from Ohio. We were given the recommendation to visit the Harvest Moon winery after visiting Balletto Vineyards- which was exceptional. We drove in and were the only ones on the patio as work- grape crushing- was going on outside. The beautiful area appeared to be smaller and more intimate and not as commercialized as Balletto which suits us fine. We sat at the outside tables and watched three guys at the crush pad unload bins full of grapes into the crusher. We were in no hurry so we watched the interesting process intently while relaxing. After a short time the proprietor Randy came off the skid steer or tractor and greeted us. We went inside the tasting room and he proceeded to explain what they were doing outside in the tents and the about the wine flights we would enjoy. I had the red flight while my wife( Beth) had the sweet dessert white flight. We sat outside at the tables, enjoyed everyone of the wines in the flights, enjoyed watching the process of crushing the grapes, taking the stems and extra(s) in one bin and checking out the bins full of crushed grapes...with dry ice.. I had to have an explanation of this which Randy did. We had an very enjoyable experience in the totally relaxing atmosphere, while Randy as the working man he is did his thing to make the wines we were enjoying. During a break from crushing the grapes Randy asked us our thoughts of the flights and said he had an extra taste he would bring out for us. He took care of another couple that had arrived for a tasting and had his son bring us some chocolate the was to be paired with our extra tasting. With the extra wine tasting and the chocolate which did pair very well with both the red and dessert flight, we decide to take a couple bottles home with us. Randy- I sit here writing this review as I had popped the signed bottle of Malbec I brought home to enjoy and to remember our time at Harvest Moon Winery. Thank you for this experience of our time enjoying your wines.

“Porter Creek Winery was such a peaceful gem and one of the highlights of our wine country trip. The team (Crystal) went above and beyond to accommodate us, even staying a little late so we could enjoy the experience — and we’re so grateful they did!

The setting was absolutely stunning — quiet, serene, and surrounded by natural beauty. It was the kind of view that makes you want to take a deep breath and stay a while. The wines were just as memorable, especially the Zinfandels — rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced.

To top it all off, we were greeted by Poppy, the sweetest dog who made the whole experience even more charming. Between the warm hospitality, the incredible wines, and the peaceful ambiance, it was the perfect way to wind down our day.

“The Flanagan Winery is an exquisite location that serves delicious wine. Our tasting visit began with Tara bringing a tray of Chardonnay to us in the parking lot and it continued with tastings of high quality Pinot Noir, Shiraz, & Cabernet. All delicious wine & at an affordable price point for good wine. We were impressed with the quality of the wine & the hospitality of Tara & of Eric Flanagan the owner, too! It was a special experience in which we learned a lot about wine making! I highly recommend it!“

“We came across Aperture Cellars after it was named to the World’s 50 Best Vineyards. Coming in with high expectations, the wines and experience blew us away.

Let me tell you.. we’ve been to MANY vineyards across Napa, Sonoma, and Paso Robles. Our host, Makenzie, stands out and truly created an unforgettable experience. Forget the bland, pretentious description of notes and the barrel that the wine was aged in. Her descriptions of the wine were spot on. Never have we had a Sauvignon Blanc described as a breakfast wine that paired well with dumplings or Thai food - SOLD.

We were lucky coming in the off season and having ample time to savor the wines. Will absolutely come back and tell our friends about this winery. Well deserved of their #14 ranking on the World’s 50 Best Vineyards.“

“We had aof group of 8 do a tasting. Tasting was $25 per person and we tasted 6 wines. Ali is extremely knowledgeable about all wines with her past experience. I have done over 100 wine tasting in addition to numerous barrel auctions. This was one of my top tasting experiences. The passion Ali and Eric have put into their wines shows up in the quality of each wine we tasted. One of the more unique wines we tasted was the Brave, named for cancer survivors. I have tasted many rose' wines but the Brave was more rich and full bodied. Would go great during the holiday's and with appetizers. We bought all the varietals and plan on enjoying sharing them with friends. Working on planning another visit soon“

The winery is organic, uses sustainable farming & harvesting practices, and even the structures they’ve built use reclaimed wood and as many local materials as possible. It’s woman-owned and made; we loved hearing the story of how Kathleen started the vineyard in ‘99. Meredith was our host, and she was extremely hospitable, inquisitive, knowledgeable, just a lot of fun. She read the room (or the patio in our case) perfectly and seemed to appear at just the right moment for the next glass. This is the kind of business that I want to support.“

I appreciated their approach to making these wines to be paired with food (the Italian way) and enjoyed the lighter, lower alcohol, elegant touch to the winemaking style. In their beautiful tasting room, you will find a wide array of imported Italian goods from art, ceramics, candies, food, and ingredients. I enjoyed the display of the different regional flags from the various regions of Italy. Many people don't realize that Italy was only unified in 1861 and how unique the individual regions are. “This was one of the most wonderful catered events I have attended in recent memory! My spouse and I hosted a Wedding Rehearsal Dinner for my son and his new spouse at DArgenzio Winery in Santa Rosa in early June of 2025. There were 35 attendees and we were catered to in the Cibo Rustico event room with a wine bar, relaxing music, bocci ball and incredible service. We selected numerous authentic Italian appetizers such as Vegan Salad, Ceasar's Salad, Rustic Fire Grilled Vegetables, Brochette breads, Caprisi Salad, and Pasta with Bolagnese and Pasta with Pesto sauces. That was followed by three delectable pizza selections (Margarita, Italian sausage and Pepperoni) and polished off with two desert selections of Chocolate Mouse and Tiramisu. Everyone in attendance was in awe of the dishes and ate until their hearts were content. We drank the DArgenzio Pinot Noir, Red Blend and Sauvignon Blanc and they were all terrific. I had forgotten that there was such a thing as "customer service" ever since the Covid19 debacle but the staff blew our socks off with friendly, attentive, professional and nurturing service for all members of the party. This was truly some of the best service I have ever seen and I would highly recommend this establishment. The cost was completely reasonable. My favorite parting shot of the event was watching all of our happy guests leave the event with boxes of awesome leftover food, bottles of extra wine and giant smiles on their face! Thank you DArgenzio Winery for making my Son's Wedding Rehearsal Dinner an unforgettable and epic event!“
