What an education we received on how they make their wine and about wine in general. Brent was kind enough to give us a special behind the scenes tour. We bought two bottles and were lucky enough to have them survive the flight back to Philadelphia. We can't wait for an occasion to drink them because their wine is amazing.“

“My husband Michael and I met co-owner Doug in Cloverdale, and he invited us to come visit the tasting room owned by his wife, Crystalyn, founding partner, and him. We did so and were so warmly welcomed. Music by Adam was off the charts that day, and the wines delicious. We went again and met Doug’s son, Declan, who similarly was gracious and helped us join the wine club and learn about great area restaurants and theater. A truly family affair, and a casual tasting room where you can feel at home, sip wonderful small batch wines, and listen to great music. Highly recommend, as this place stands out in the crowd.“

“Porter Creek Winery was such a peaceful gem and one of the highlights of our wine country trip. The team (Crystal) went above and beyond to accommodate us, even staying a little late so we could enjoy the experience — and we’re so grateful they did!

The setting was absolutely stunning — quiet, serene, and surrounded by natural beauty. It was the kind of view that makes you want to take a deep breath and stay a while. The wines were just as memorable, especially the Zinfandels — rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced.

To top it all off, we were greeted by Poppy, the sweetest dog who made the whole experience even more charming. Between the warm hospitality, the incredible wines, and the peaceful ambiance, it was the perfect way to wind down our day.

“So, I checked out Williamson Wines in Healdsburg the other day, and damn, it was a great find. The tasting room on Matheson Street is super fun, with this cool rustic vibe that’s not trying too hard. Their sparkling Malbec blew my mind—super bright and fruity, not like any bubbly I’ve had before. They hooked us up with some great cheeses and snacks that made the wines taste even better. The dude helping us was great, talking about how the family runs things and uses sustainable grapes without making it sound like a lecture. You can tell they care about making good wine—it’s smooth and doesn’t mess you up later. The food and wine pairing was perfect, especially with that Malbec stealing the show. “We went there Today for My 44th Birthday. I have had the Pinot Noir before. I know I’d be taking some bottles home. That being said Josh, Our Host, server and cook was kind, knowledgeable, prompt, fun & Friendly. We had the Whamola Weiners (sorry if I spelled that wrong). They were Pretty great! The Dutch Crunch buns were the best part for Me. Classed up Trashy food I LOVE IT 😉!

“A beautiful property with excellent wines. How exciting for Healdsburg to have an establishment experimenting with lesser-known indigenous Italian varietals. I appreciated their approach to making these wines to be paired with food (the Italian way) and enjoyed the lighter, lower alcohol, elegant touch to the winemaking style. It is a breath of fresh air to find a producer like this in California. In their beautiful tasting room, you will find a wide array of imported Italian goods from art, ceramics, candies, food, and ingredients. I enjoyed the display of the different regional flags from the various regions of Italy. Many people don't realize that Italy was only unified in 1861 and how unique the individual regions are. I see the effort made by the Orsi family to demonstrate this on their property. For the locals, beyond the wine, you find some of the best products from Italy. Grazie Mille.“

“My family has been on DuMol's mailing list for years and I've thankfully had the opportunity to try different bottlings throughout the years. I FINALLY got the chance to visit as I was back home for some time and the tasting experience was phenomenal. Erin was one of the most engaging, fun, and insightful people I've had the pleasure of tasting with. We spent a few hours seeing the production facility and tasting room and every minute was fantastic.

I cannot recommend visiting here enough. The wines are next level Pinot Noir, the people are welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable, and the experience as a whole is just pure joy.

“We were looking for a free tour of a local winery without the wine tasting as we were there early in the morning. Balletto is part of the Sonoma county "Vinyard Adventure" program which offers a free self-guided tour. It was exactly what we were looking for. The staff was very friendly, Rob answered our questions and then let us move on to our self-guided visit of the vines. It was great and a great option if you're looking for an affordable activity. Their wine tasting prices are also more reasonable than most wineries around. Highly recommend if you are in the area.“

Jason gave us additional recommendations for spots in the area, which helped us get in to two locations we might have otherwise had trouble making appointments at. “They had 21 Pinot Noirs and one Chardonnay which was their first endeavor with that grape. They hit a home run with it. I was even able to get a chilled bottle, just what I was looking for on a hot day. The Pinots were all good, some very dry, some not so much but not jammy.“

“Came here for a Mother's Day/Birthday celebration last weekend and had an amazing experience! Grant was our server and he did an amazing job giving us a background of each wine we were tasting and explaining the meaning/history of the winery. The wines were delicious and the architecture and vibe of the winery was phenomenal. This winery was also super peaceful and gave us a nice escape from the busy city life in San Francisco, I would highly recommend and will definitely be back in the future!“
