“Came when it wasn't busy. Shared a large poke bowl between the 2 of us which was plenty of food. We ordered salmon, tuna, albacore, and tempura shrimp as our proteins and liked that they offered seaweed salad, mango, mandarin, tamago, edamame, ginger, smelt egg as toppings.
It was a little warm when we stayed indoors to eat. They also had outdoor seating.“

“The place is small but don't let that fool you! The menu is huge. The portions are so big they use tape to help keep containers closed. The flavor.....UNMATCHED, Island Beef Ribs and Poke is what we got and both were amazing.
Poke is just as if you were in the island! Amazingly good, they sell out fast so get there early. Sure there's other Poke places around but they are so artificial and processed like store bought Poke.

The staff is so friendly! They're helpful if you have questions and is always with a smile! Love them.

“In town from the east coast and we stopped in to grab some grub; 15/10 service. Our server was the absolute sweetest most down to earth guy! But good gracious this food is PHENOMENAL. The Hula Burger is so incredibly juicy with the most perfect big fat slice of pineapple. Absolutely to die for. It was also our first time trying spam musubi! Big fans! Cannot recommend this place enough. Will be back one day hopefully. 🤞“

“The Loft Hawaiian Grill in Cypress is one of those local places I keep coming back to. The service is always friendly, the food is consistently good, and I definitely have my favorites.

Their Chinese chicken salad is one of them. The dressing is amazing! Seriously, that dressing is what makes the salad. And of course, I always have to get a Spam musubi. Always. Spam Musubi.

If you’re trying to eat a little healthier, don’t sleep on the lettuce wraps either. They’re fresh, flavorful and actually satisfying without feeling like you just ate a huge plate lunch.

But one of the best deals around has to be their lunch special. As of September 2026, it’s only $7.84 plus tax! You get your choice of two kinds of chicken over steamed rice, ramen cabbage salad AND a drink. Where can you even get a full lunch for that price anymore?

“Great service, My friends and I come from Germany, and our English is so so, most of this I had to use Google Translate. However, there was a kind young lady who was able to help us in German with a name something along the lines of Jessi, and she was very helpful, especially for my friends who can't really speak English well. So I wanted to give credit, and the food was great.“

“Update: This has become one of my 2 spots that I go to for AUTHENTIC Hawaiian food. Everything here is delicious. You can watch the chefs grill your meal on an open flame. If you haven't been here, you haven't tasted real Hawaiian BBQ. Warning: the spam musubis sell out, so get there early for a chance to get one. If they sell out, I don't need to tell you how good they are.

OMG. I was recommended to try this place and they were not lying. I didn't take pictures, I was too excited to eat. I could smell the bbq before I walked in. I got the Big Kahuna family meal, its a very generous portion. I also got the beef ribs, those are a must. The only thing I didn't get to try was the spam masubi, but I'll definitely be back.“

“Honestly the poke here was actually really good not gonna lie but what made the experience not as good was the fact that they ran out of rice so I had to substitute it with either store bought tortilla chips or mixed greens, and the prices seemed a bit steep for the overall portions, and the line wasn’t that bad even tho it was long but the place is super tiny and barely has room to accommodate eating inside and the line right in the middle so that’s why I gave it 4 stars, but I would come back just for the poke by itself forsure cuz it is worth the wait, and they have a good selection of poke flsvors and Hawaiian suns“

Of the other local poke places, we’ve never had yellowtail be offered. The fish and toppings all tasted so fresh…It was also so nice that on one of the bowls he mixed it all together vs, trying to mix it in the car and risk losing some very important pieces. “I come here often since it's near my work. I really wanted to post this review so I can show everyone how great my bowl looked. I got a small bowl but the worker packed it so well. Chef's kiss! The service here is fast. Even if they are working on online orders, they make sure to tend to the customers in person first. Everyone is sweet too and they give you extra sauce in the side if you ask.

“You will not find many places that serve Hawaiian BBQ in this amount. When you can't close the lid unless you eat a sizeable portion to it or rubber band the container down, you know it's gonna be great. I usually get the chicken Katsu with the BBQ beef. If I didn't have a high BP I would of got double Mac salad. It is always a pleasure going to a spot that does it right.“

“While I was impressed by the portions for the price I was not impressed with a few things. Ordered a plate via the uber eats deal and it had a lot of promise. The portions as mentioned before were enormous and made me very happy, the quality of my katsu and rice were exceptional compared to the area but a few things were out of place. For starters the musubis shouldn't force you to get 2 I could see a two musubi combo with a drink for what I paid for (7 and change) but not having a single option for people who want to have one on its own is disappointing. Another thing I didn't agree with was the price of the mini plates which I probably would've gotten had they not been 14 and change (the price of a regular plate at other places). Minis should reflect the value proposition they aim to accommodate not be the same price of plates elsewhere. Also they for whatever reason while gave a lot of sauce had little to no substance. As someone who grew up on this I need the consistency and flavor that is standard and this was watered down and less concentrated as what I remember. If they made it thicker I'd get it I'd rather have 1 good one than 2 meh ones at best. Overall while I would try again I am a little taken aback by their way of doing things.

I'm conflicted about this process refine cause some stuff is done quite well and others very wrong. For example the prices and menu are close if not more expansive than others in the area but the food execution is a mixed bag at best musubis at best are thin and very lacking in sauce and nori quality. The mix plate and katsu are of varying levels of thickness sauce lacks consistency and food is either dry or bland in my 4 visits. I will give it that their service and speed is exceptional but the food has to back it up and it does and doesn't at the same time.“
