“We came for our wedding anniversary and we're pleasantly surprised and satisfied. Window table with a view was given as requested. A card signed by all the staff and a free anniversary cake dessert were provided. With good food and attentive service, it was an overall great night for both of us.“

“This is THE BEST fine dining steakhouse in North OC with a vibrant, classy atmosphere. From the steaks and seafood to the cocktails and old-fashioneds… everything is amazing. We’ve been patrons since it opened and would even order takeout (even old-fashioneds to go!) during the pandemic. A splurge but absolutely worth it.“

“We had a late dinner at the Yard House after a Christmas lights cruise in the bay on a Monday in December. The Yard House serves dinner later. We had a an appetizer of queso with meat. It was outstanding. I had Maui Chicken and my wife had a Chicken dish ,also. Both were large portions and fantastic. When we are in the area we will definitely go back!“

I ordered their New York steak and half Caesar salad, the steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare. Well seasoned and very tasty.
Lots of staff that were very attentive to our needs.

“Old classic American steakhouse. Bartenders are outstanding and pour a good drink not your standard 1 oz. . The Owners Jeff and Steve have greatly improved the place the last several years. I've seen their business increase. The food is very good and competitively priced. Some comments I read earlier that it was overly priced they must go to Denny's a lot. The weekends get packed. Sometimes 1-2 hour wait for dinner. They have entertainment on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. They also have great Happy Hour specials M-F. I'm just another happy customer that has been coming in for years.“

“They really out did themselves. I told them it was my 2 year anniversary, they put it on the menu (that we were able to take home), put decorative hearts on the table, and brought out a cheesecake that had happy anniversary on it written in chocolate! I've been here multiple times but it was my plus one's first time here and they really made her feel special. Thank you again Ruth Chris Irvine you guys killed it! “Quaint little sit down restaurant inside Ghost Town. We ordered the Roasted Chicken Dinner with mashed potatoes and steamed veggies. The roasted drumsticks and thigh were very moist and flavorful. However, the large chicken breast was dry and hard. My teen ordered the Ghost Town Burger with French fries and said it was dry, needed thousand island or a moist beef patty. Fries were crunchy (dry but had good seasoning).“

The hot plates are amazing because your food never gets cold and it made every bite of my steak super enjoyable. “We have been coming to this location for many years. The server was very attentive and was able to answer questions promptly. The steaks and sides were very well seasoned and cooked as per request. We opted for a Dinner for two, and the pricing was good.“

“Didn't know they served brunch, so we went early on a weekend. There is almost noone there when they first open. We had purchased a groupon which is what led us in. Turns out it only saves $2 over the regular cost, lol - which was kind of a lot of effort just for 2 bucks. Anyway, our entrees were both awesome and I'd gladly go again. The front dining area (near the bar) is tired and in need of deep cleaning and reupholstery on the booths. It needs to be restored to it's awesome 80's pristine environment.“

“It has been 4 years I have visited this restaurant in different locations. I am not sure why but every year, while my experience with a server is great, my experience with the check in and reception has been really bad. We had 6 in our party and they always put us the booth where we have issues with in and out. We have 2 seniors and they are 84 and 82. Not sure why always, we sit such a uncomfortable desk. I had experience asking table last year and the lady said they did not have. This year, the lady in reception said the same thing. I have no plan to going back and look for another restaurant from next year. Not a good experience while trying to enjoy the Thanksgiving meal. Also, ladies in the reception, I think they should be more friendly. I know it was busy but we paid to eat.“
