“Every time I visit Westminster, Pho 79 is a must-stop for me. The pho is rich, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying — you can really taste the depth of the broth and the care that goes into every bowl.

Just a heads up: it’s cash only, so come prepared. Also, the fried chicken is a hidden gem — crispy, juicy, and definitely worth ordering alongside your pho. The sauce with the chicken is the play and takes it to another level. I’m always here when I’m in the area because the quality and consistency never disappoint.

The tandoori chicken and dal makhani I savored transported my taste buds straight to the streets of Delhi with their authentic, extraordinary flavors. The lacha paratha? Simply genius. Service was extraordinary, matched by the unique touch of serving drinks in metal, regal glasses that elevate the dining experience to one of noble indulgence. Having the pleasure of meeting both owners, their dedication was evident in every aspect. “Good Mongolian food, lots of choices to build your plate. They have different sizing and all you can eat options. Besides that they have additional food you can order, at an extra cost, appetizers main courses. A small bowl is enough for one person. Get the regular if you want leftovers.“

“Awesome food and great service. Atmosphere is what one would expect a strip mall food joint to be. Garlic paste seemed to be house made but the harissa seemed to be sambal oulek (an Asian chili sauce) everything else is really really good, especially the rice.“

The beef soup with the glass noodles was delicious 👌 pair with lemon Jinro sochu. You'll thank later. The variety of pickled side dishes was impressive and paired perfectly with the meat. Both the doenjang-jjigae and kimchi-jjigae were absolutely delicious. One thing I wish was that the staff could have been a bit friendlier, but overall, if you’re looking for authentic Korean-style pork BBQ, I’d definitely recommend this place.“

They served a small egg soup as a welcome dish — warm, light, and comforting on an empty stomach.

I also liked that they offered small-size bowls of Jjajangmyeon — just right for a light meal.

“Delicious food served with love. For lunch, I I had the cold soba noodles with crispy shrimp tempura. A bowl of hot udon broth was served as a free appetizer. As good as the soba and tempura were, this hot bowl of soup was my favorite part of today’s lunch.“

“Cơm Tấm Kiều Giang is one of those places that instantly earns five stars. I first discovered them through DoorDash and immediately fell in love—but once I came in person, I realized just how much of a hidden gem this spot really is (and how much more affordable it is dining in).

The menu hits all the Vietnamese classics: a solid lineup of Vietnamese appetizers, cơm tấm (broken rice), bún (vermicelli) bowls, and plenty of traditional Vietnamese drinks to round out the meal. Everything feels comforting, well-portioned, and thoughtfully prepared.

What really stands out—besides the food—is the value. Prices are incredibly reasonable, especially for today: vermicelli dishes range from $12–$15, and broken rice plates from $12–$17. For the quality and portion size, it’s honestly a steal.

“This restaurant is located near the H Mart area in Garden Grove, which is convenient and easy to find.

The space has a Central Vietnam vibe cute, tidy, and very clean. Some of the dishes brought me back to Hội An, especially the more traditional items.

The bánh bèo was Hội A style and the highlight of our meal. The crispy pork skin was delicious, and the fish sauce was well balanced and complemented the dish nicely.

We also tried the bún bò Huế . While it was flavorful, the broth was a bit sweet for my taste, so it didn’t fully hit the mark.

The Cơm Cá Salmon came in a large portion, but the flavor was fairly average and not very memorable.

I have noodle soups sometimes and the rice plates other times, and the take out options are great and ready to go. The seating and atmosphere are more like a typical Vietnamese restaurant, not fancy high end dining, but that makes it a great fit for the daily meals or a simple gathering. After my first visit I’ve been back here a couple times every week.“
