The food however was subpar. I got the truffle tots and they were cold. My cheese never melted which was disappointing because they were a little expensive. The cheese kind of just congregated at the bottom of the bowl instead of melting onto the tots.“

“It's perfect spot for casual dinning. They have indoor and outdoor, perfect if you have a dog. They have great coffee, their house coffee is really good. Summer time, do the cold drinks, you'll love it. The staff is very kind and service is great. Street parking and a small lot parking. So far everything I have eaten has been really good. Great choices of pizza. Eat here or take it to go. Enjoy!“

“So excited and proud Sugarbird finally has a storefront. My family and I have followed Chef & Owner Kei since it first started and only had regular priority mail delivery and pickup from a co-op location in Downtown LA. I stopped by after the Montrose Farmers Market, where Sugarbird was before and I believe still is for other Farmers Markets, and Kei herself was managing the store. She was nice and really excited to finally have her own storefront. I got a free tea, free clotted cream, the tea sandwich set, six scones (ube, lemon blueberry, matcha, fig & rosemary, passionfruit & earl grey) and shortbread cookies.“
