“It was our first time and our waiter should have been nicer and given us an insight of the disher. He was in a hurry, barely asked us if we needed anything and when we asked for any recommendation it seemed to bother him. Also, I was very disappointed because he didnt' t let me know when he was bringing cake and we weren't ready with cameras. Food: excellent, really good steak and amazing bread. Service needs to improve and treat customers nicer.“

“The experience was excellent except for the wait for a table. We arrived on time for our reservation and our entire party of four was present but at check in they said it would be a few minutes for a table. It was a 15-20 minute wait which was odd because the entire restaurant was empty. We would have gone to the bar for a drink but the restaurant was completely empty and we expected to be seated quickly. The food and service were excellent. My son said it was the best meal he has had in years.“

“We really love Arroyo Chophouse. This is our anniversary place each year. We look forward to dressing up and eating some amazing dishes. This year didn't disappoint and the food was delicious. However, we were disappointed on how much the prices increased since the last time we were here. Also, we were a tad disappointed that our waiter put the wrong order in for my husband. So when I got my food, the surf and turf, we had to wait for my husband‘s food to come about 4 to 6 minutes later. Definitely not a big deal and didn't ruin our night, but if you're like me and love your food piping hot it bothered me just a tad because of course I'm gonna wait for my husband to eat dinner. I would've appreciated maybe a complementary cup of coffee with our dessert or something just to acknowledge the slight inconvenience. I don't want anything free that we ordered or anything just a little something would've been nice. All in all it was a great night and I would refer the Arroyo chophouse to a friend.“

“We came here for a coworker's birthday. They called ahead and prepared a special menu with our names on it, along with homemade cheesecake and whipped cream. We ordered the prime rib, broccoli and French onion soup. For the price, I would rate the steak 8.5/10. The service and ambiance of the restaurant was great. Highly recommended for dates, family dinners or corporate/clients.“

Perfect if you're visiting alone as they have plenty of seats at the bar with access to a full menu and enjoy a live sports game. Their service is excellent! Very efficient. “This review is for dining on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at LA Prime Steakhouse at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles, CA. I apologize in advance for this lengthy review. 😊 Overall, our party of 4 had a very enjoyable evening. We arrived about 15 minutes before our 6pm reservations and had our pick for a table right by the windows facing North. The sky was clear, the view of the city below us and the mountains in the distance was great. The service was excellent from our servers Mark & Maria (aka M&M as they mentioned and made it very easy to remember their names 😊). Both were very friendly and attentive. The pace for our evening was exceptional. We did not feel rushed, were given ample time to browse the menu, enjoy our drinks and starters before the entrees were brought out. Mark or Maria would periodically come by to ask how our meal was, if we wanted another drink, whether we needed anything else and with the refills of water and coffee. Now, as for the food, I will say it was “good”, but not exceptional or 5 stars. Starters: Wagyu Carpaccio, Oysters Rockefeller & 2 orders Escargot – I ordered the Oysters Rockefeller. They were about medium sized oysters and somewhat tasty. I was disappointed that they oysters were not released from the shell before cooking, making it difficult and messy to scrape out of the shell or to use a knife to release the oyster. Others that tried the oysters had the same issue. I tried one escargot and found the size to be pretty small. They definitely needed more garlic, more butter and some parsley or herbs. Others felt the same. One of the best parts I enjoy with escargot is using the bread to dip into the garlic butter sauce. YUM. Entrees: 2 Prime Rib entrees (1 medium rare & 1 end cut). Good portions as menu states 18 oz., tender, good marbling, looked delicious. I had the end cut expecting bold flavors from the seasoning, but found it lacking in flavor. The horseradish and au jus helped a little. The Yorkshire Pudding was a bit strange. It was not at all what I was expecting. I’m accustomed to something like a mini Dutch baby pancake or it being light and airy with a big puff crown top, like I would get at Lawry’s or Tam O’Shanter. What we got was somewhat dense, maybe collapsed, muffin shaped and something I would not have guessed as a Yorkshire Pudding by the looks or taste of it. Party also ordered the Lobster Thermidor and the Filet Mignon with Lobster Tail. Filet was cooked nicely and was tender. The Lobster Thermidor and Lobster Tail was not tender, somewhat dry and a bit chewy. I’m not sure if it was the quality or maybe being overcooked. They did not enjoy these entrees. Sides: Asparagus Spears with Hollandaise Sauce were nicely cooked. Sauteed Mushroom Ragout – I think this was mostly chanterelle mushrooms. Do not recall any shitake or button mushrooms. I did not care for this. Creamed Spinach looked good, but I did not try this. After dinner, we looked at the city lights from our window table and enjoyed the delicious Starbucks coffee they served. We didn’t leave any room for desserts. SUMMARY: Ambiance & View – 5 out of 5 Stars Service – 5 out of 5 Stars Food – 4 out of 5 Stars Great place to try at least once. Food may be a bit overpriced and overall under seasoned. Service was excellent. You’re mainly paying for the view and experience. Our party had a great time and wonderful evening there. Would I go again anytime soon… probably not. There are too many restaurants in the city to try and there are always new ones popping up.“

“We got the campfire menu for 2 and ordered a bottle of their monthly wine special, a cabernet. Their membership gave a deep discount on the wine which was decent! Steak was cooked right and vegetable sides were perfect (seasoned and had some crunch). We will come back. Staff was very nice BTW. I also really appreciated that while they were busy on a Friday night, we had a reservation and were seated almost immediately. Kudos to the front of house staff also.“

The view never disappoints, and the food is always exceptional! * arrive hungry Xochitl, our server, was wonderful, and she was a lot of personality! Daniel, who assisted gave us a tour of the special room nextdoor that now has a minimum, and where we had dinner many years back before that was the case. Incredible booths with views, so ideal for a private dinner! Thank you to the hosts, and bartenders who all took great care of us as well while we waited for our table. Can't wait to go back!😁🥰“

“Came here for anniversary weekend with my girlfriend. We were greeted and sat down on a table. The first thing I noticed was the ambience it was dark and I liked the vibe of the inside. We did the all you can eat and drink and it was perfect. The food was good and the portions were great. They do tapas style dishes so you can order to your heart’s desire. The drinks for all you can drink were really good too and have a good selection. Me and my girlfriend enjoyed the food there was one dish we were not a fan of which was the salmon it was too salty but everything else was really good. They had a photographer as well so we took some cute pictures. Overall 10/10 experience and would recommend for a celebration.“
