We walked in to order to go and they had the order done in maybe 10 minutes? Super fast. Been an occasional customer for 15 years between this location and the one on Howe Ave. Always happy with my visits.“

“Silver Sake “Where Everybody Knows Your Name”. This is the go to place for sushi. It’s more than good food. It’s an experience. The staff from chefs, wait staff, to kitchen staff, greet, engage you with friendly smiles. The food is always amazing my kids enjoy their chef choice (Omakase) rolls. Matter of fact we always leave it up to the chef to make whatever they see fit to serve us. Never been disappointed and always left our appetites pleasantly satisfied. When it’s time to leave, as you walk out the doors, you’re always sent off with “ We’ll See You Tomorrow”. It takes every ounce of willpower to not return the next day.

“Seoul 1979 was a great find. The service was quick, welcoming, and efficient, and the food tasted fresh and made with care.

I ordered the Bulgogi Cupbap and thoroughly enjoyed it. The beef was tender and flavorful, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the portion was satisfying without feeling overly heavy. The kimchi on the side was a nice added touch.

I can’t speak for the Japanese offerings, but based on the Korean food alone, I’d happily come back.“

I order the bento box every single time (usually switching up the main), and it’s always excellent; as a creature of habit, I have no issues with ordering the same thing every week, especially when the food is so tasty! The ingredients are consistently fresh and flavorful, and clearly made with care. You can tell everything is very thought out and intentional, from the presentation to the balance of flavors. “We love this place. Much attention is given to presentation and the food is excellent. This time we tried the Black Cod Steak. Cooked perfectly in a lovely sauce on top of asparagus.
Their starters are also very good. In addition to the Sonomono we tried the breaded fried Oysters that came with a creamy crab dipping sauce. Again, excellent. If you are adventurous or just love trying new tasty foods you will love this place. It is small and you will want to get there early, if you don’t want to wait.“

Even though the order was big, our order took just 10-15 minutes until they served us all the sushi and at the same time (11 rolls), super impressive! Service: The wait times are really long. At the start, I would get my food in around 5-10mins, but then as we ordered more and more food, the wait times get really long. They also forgot to bring our orders in several occasions like I would order sashimi and also a certain roll as well. I understand that they might be forgot one or more things, but at the same time, this happened several times as well. I think the worse part was that the server limited just our table to the amount of sashimi in a AYCE restaurant. I was shocked to see that happening and I was disappointed that they would do that to us.
Food: the food was pretty good and that’s the only thing that I would come for. The presentation of the food is pretty good and there’s several options to choose from
Atmosphere: Pretty small, but not too bad

Overall, I would like to see a change in their customer service since it looks like it feels disorganized. I will change the rating if there are some changes.

“A MUST VISIT! The service was delightful, so nice, helpful and just generally pleasant. The food was being delicious! All types of Japanese cuisine so there is something for everyone. Kid friendly as well! The portions are very satisfying, one roll, hand roll, and a small cup of miso was plenty for me, the big kiddo was in line with his dragon roll (pictured) and the beautiful food art on it, as well as a chicken noodle plate. The littlest had maybe half of the kids ramen and plenty of edamame. Really, very pleased with the food quality and the service. We will definitely be going back!“

“I come here more than I should probably admit. The sushi is always fresh, and the service is just as good. These days I usually grab takeout since I work on the road, but every time I pass by, my car somehow pulls into their lot on its own (very bizarre).

“It's Sushi has easily become one of my go-to AYCE sushi restaurants. The quality of their seafood is outstanding and far exceeds what you would come to expect of an AYCE establishment. The menu is quite extensive and has different options of cooked and raw sushi as well as multiple dishes from the kitchen. The location is quite small so if you're going with a big party I recommend calling ahead. The restaurant parking is quite small but is connected to a bigger shopping plaza so there is a lot of parking available. The menu is split into 3 tiers, menu A, B, and C, with three varying price points which is nice if you dont like raw sushi, you dont have to pay for the nigiri. The sushi itself really highlights the fish quality not so much the rice, the nigiri has a tiny ball of rice only so it's not as filling.“

The food is consistently amazing. The Red Dragon roll is my favorite with jalapeño peppers also it’s just packs the perfect kick. The Citrus Roll is fresh, flavorful, and a perfect signature touch. “Gift card scam. Mikunis implemented a new protocol in 2022. Any gift cards that were purchased before a certain (unknown) date, and now utilized, will be zeroed out. Back story: I attempted to use a gift card today (April 2023) and was informed it had a zero balance. The server kept my card. I had a gut feeling, asked for the card back. I spoke to the manager about how I could have a zero balance when I had never used it. The manager informed me that corporate zeroed out all gift cards that weren’t used. In order for me to get my money on the gift card, I have to call corporate headquarters and “request” an inquiry; which I did to no avail. It’s not about “expired” gift cards. It’s about not informing consumers ahead of a new rule that gift cards be zeroed out before a certain date. I’ve used 10 year old gift cards at other restaurants without any problem. Biggest scam ever.“

The food is ready in 10 minutes, or you can call-in an order. I always order the beef teriyaki or the spicy pork cooked well done for a bit of char, which includes a small side salad and Korean-style bean sprouts. The sushi is SENSATIONAL and my sushi chef friend recommended ordering fast-swimming fish. A good roll is the Volcano because it's made of Crab, Avocado, Cucumber Salmon, Spicy Tuna w/Sauce. Cucumber adds a crunchy texture to every roll.“
