“Very interesting addition to the local area, not expecting Creole food in California, but welcome nonetheless! The Seafood Gumbo was full of catfish chunks, bay scallops, and a couple shrimp. It came out steaming hot and stayed that way the whole time I ate it. The cornbread was also moist and a welcome addition. They are also a breakfast place with plenty of traditional options available. Great place to get your fix without having to head to Louisiana.“

“The Natural Café is one of my favorite spots for a healthy, delicious lunch in Goleta/Santa Barbara. I love their tuna fish sandwich and vegetable lasagna. Both are fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. You can sit inside or enjoy the outdoor seating, which is perfect on a beautiful day. Great food, relaxed atmosphere, and a wonderful place to stop for lunch. Highly recommend!“

“This place is awesome. All the Dune's are awesome really. Can't go wrong at any of them. In my experience, this Dune has the most "interpersonal" customer service. For example, they have consistently asked about my day, etc., or made small talk that goes a bit beyond the basic kindness you'd get at any of the other Dune's. Basic kindness, as in, they are really friendly there, either way, during your transaction, but this Dune seems to do a little extra with customer interactions. The coffee (what I usually order; e.g. lattes) are excellent.“

“The cafe has the usual selection for a coffee and tea spot. I had a smooth "iced chai latte with oat milk."

As a plus, they use biodegradable straws and the service was friendly. Not too many seats for dine-in though.“

“My husband got the large size dragon (pitaya) bowl and we were pleasantly surprised at how large it was. I got the 3 berry oatmeal bowl and it was very tasty and filling. We both subbed honey for agave with no problem. Will definitely be going back!“

“Drinks are great! The boba is garbage: it ain’t chewy enough, it’s nearly flavoreless, and it feels like you’re swallowing/drinking jelly. These black balls ain’t it and believe me I’ve had my fairshare of black balls before.

Black balls tangent aside, the drinks are solid although price gouged. I don’t blame them though ‘cause have you seen the surrounding real estate? You ain’t surviving selling $5 boba drinks.

Anywho this could easily be a 5-star place if they could get the texture of the boba right. Perchance.“

“I came here during the weekday, and it was empty. I felt awkward but good at the same time since it was quiet. It was yummy, should’ve gotten more ramen! Next time I’ll order more beef and customize it since I didn’t like some of the items in my pot 😭. But overall would come again and it was good!“

Good menu and lively ambiance, our dining experience was good but not a wow moment.
Service lacked a bit because they had a big party, of around 20, and it seems most of the servers were helping out, hence ours suffered a bit.
The starting bread basket was fresh.
My main course, pizza, cant remember the name, was good and well prepared.
My dessert, was good.
There are so many good places in the Goleta/Santa Bárbara área that not sure if I will patronize this establishment again.“

“They always make mistakes in portion sizes food is great but those small details matter too the green chutney I ordered there was barely a spoon full of chutney in there and no it’s was not spilled in the bag too please see the stuff before keeping it in the bag ☹️“

Caitlin is the one that’s helped me a few times and she’s an exceptional employee she honestly deserves a raise because the customer service for a food place like this is beyond what I expected. “We were looking for coffee and breakfast to go. The staff consisted of two lovely UC Santa Barbara students. The espresso and cappuccinos were wonderful, and they agreed to put smoked salmon on their toast with cream cheese, cucumber, and dill, which was delicious. It fully not our needs. The place is clean and while lighted. You can’t go wrong.“

We got the udon noodles and only were able to eat half the dish so I also get a tasty treat tomorrow. The atmosphere was awesome and the service was insanely quick especially for a busy day.
