“This place is awesome. All the Dune's are awesome really. Can't go wrong at any of them. In my experience, this Dune has the most "interpersonal" customer service. For example, they have consistently asked about my day, etc., or made small talk that goes a bit beyond the basic kindness you'd get at any of the other Dune's. Basic kindness, as in, they are really friendly there, either way, during your transaction, but this Dune seems to do a little extra with customer interactions. The coffee (what I usually order; e.g. lattes) are excellent.“

“This local place is close and has a wide variety of choices in the menu. I've been here a few times. Delicious drinks! Food is good but not amazing. Last time i was here...Cedar plank Salmon was delicious. Potatos and veggies were a little bland. Creme brulee seemed like it was broiled instead of torched as the entire dish was VERY hot. Atmosphere is very nice and service is always notch.“

“I visited my sister for the weekend here at University of Santa Barbara and went walking around to find something to eat. I ended up at Hummus Republic and it did not disappoint!! The ingredients are so clean and tasty!! I got a bowl with their couscous and Mediterranean steak with all the toppings! I love that I didn’t feel sluggish after this meal, it was very good quality. The staff was also very friendly and patient. Such a great atmosphere. If you’re around the area or visiting I HIGHLY recommend stopping by!“

“Love the coffee ☕️ at Light House. They have authentic coffee, not like the rest of the popular venues. This time, I had their cappuccino in was great strong with a great aroma yet not overpowering. Also, I ordered their avocado toast and paid extra for the boil egg. Unfortunately, when I got to my destination, there was no egg. The avocado toast was very tasty, and I enjoyed it.“

“Crushcakes is consistently delicious! My husband and I regularly order takeout during the week for breakfast or lunch and keep going back. Online ordering is a breeze and they always get the order right. Coffee is great and of course the cupcakes! The pumpkin spice is my current favorite. Highly recommend this cafe all around!

“this boba place is pretty good overall, with a solid range of flavors that aren’t overly sweet, which is nice. the prices are also pretty reasonable for the area, which is a plus since boba can get expensive around here.

one thing that threw me off, though, was their strawberry matcha. i was expecting something blended or a bit more balanced, but it ended up being just matcha tea with chunks of strawberry jello. the flavors didn’t really mix the way i’d hoped, so it felt a bit odd.

otherwise, the tapioca pearls are on the smaller side, but they give you a lot of them, so you still get that chewy texture throughout the drink without it being overwhelming. all in all, it’s a decent spot to grab some boba if you’re in the area and looking for something affordable.“
