“I am absolutely enchanted by the Korbel estate and by their delicious, port, bubbly, and brandy. The deli is delightful, chock full of delightful sweets and savory sides and sandwiches. I wandered in and never wanted to leave. The view! The rich history! Did you know that the train stopped at Korbel in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s? I wish I could jump back in time. The ladies at the tasting room are my new best friends too. I was so cozy by the fire, sipping a rare rouge 🍷 Defnitely don’t skip this wonderland on your visit. If you’re local, be a member!“
“Amazing experience! The view is astonishing! Our group enjoyed every wine we tasted so much that we had to take some home for us and as gifts. We love wine and this wine was delicious. The hosts, Peggy and Kevin were so sweet and fun, it was a private tasting but it also felt like we were with family. They both made it so enjoyable. We learned so much about local wines from them. The house is gorgeous and they are lovers of art which added to the experience. Not to mention Kevin played a great playlist for us and it felt like a party.I Can’t wait to come back with more friends and family to share this with.“
“Delicious wine and knowledgeable staff!“
“5/5 stars – each star for customer care, product quality, atmosphere, speed, and value. Justin was a great host. I visited Thomas George Estates and was impressed by the beautiful vineyards, the peaceful ambiance, and the scenic views across the valley. The cellar tour was informative and the tasting was well organized, offering a variety of smooth selections. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience relaxed and enjoyable. It feels like the best winery near me and a top choice among Sonoma wineries.“
“Amazing wine! Got 10 cases 🙈
Our server Reed was very informative, great convo & not just about wine! We talked about business ventures, martial arts (nun chucks!), breathing exercises, wrestling & He also told us the best way to get sparkling glasses (magic erasers!) & the best place to buy them wholesale! (Sponge depot!) He will be missed but we'll see him next visit! 🥂“
“amazing wines, the owners are super personable and helpful, the charcuterie and the sangria were delicious!🍷🥂 5 star by far⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“
“Had a wonderful tour and tasting with Kat. Loved the history, philosophy of the winery/vineyard and current wine making practices. The food and wine pairings were spot on. Our entire grow up (6 in all) lives EVERY wine we were served which usually doesn’t happen. It was all so well balanced and smooth and just extraordinarily made. Truly a treasured find.“
“So unfortunately we couldn’t go, they were booked. However, they were the NICEST people, gave us some great recommendations. We got a tiny pour of something very good while they made some reservations for us. They have a beautiful view and we’d love to try them next time we’re up that way. I just wanted to take a moment to express our group’s appreciation for their excellent care of not-quite-customers.“
“Fun time. Awesome grounds too.“
“Porter Creek Winery was such a peaceful gem and one of the highlights of our wine country trip. The team (Crystal) went above and beyond to accommodate us, even staying a little late so we could enjoy the experience — and we’re so grateful they did!
The setting was absolutely stunning — quiet, serene, and surrounded by natural beauty. It was the kind of view that makes you want to take a deep breath and stay a while. The wines were just as memorable, especially the Zinfandels — rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced.
To top it all off, we were greeted by Poppy, the sweetest dog who made the whole experience even more charming. Between the warm hospitality, the incredible wines, and the peaceful ambiance, it was the perfect way to wind down our day.
Highly recommend Porter Creek for anyone looking for a relaxing, intimate tasting experience with a personal touch.“
“Beautiful wines! Keith was a top notch host, friendly, informative and interesting. Thank you!“
“We got invitation for wine pairings from bookings.com and decided to accept it . For only $85 for two we got wonderful lunch with 5-wines testing. We loved all the wines besides the last one. Each wine was paired with a very nice snack. We decided to buy one bottle of wine that we both liked. Our server, Tom, was just perfect: much of attention, very knowledgeable and nice to communicate. It was Monday and the place was very quiet. We’d highly recommend this place and share with our friends“
“Amazing wine tasting in a natural beautiful environment“
“We happened upon this family-owned, small tasting room on our way back from Bodega Bay. I am so grateful we found this place. Lynn was absolutely amazing! She was welcoming and knowledgeable, an absolute GEM! The placed was packed and she still managed to make us feel special. We enjoyed EVERY wine we tasted & took a bunch home. Do not sleep on this amazing winery. Family run business doing it all the right way.“
“We had an awesome tasting yesterday at this amazing winery. Robin was very friendly and excited about the different types of wines. She explained all the options throughly. We can not wait to get back home to try our selections for different dinners. Thanks again for everything.“
“Love the atmosphere and champagnes !! Joined my first wine club with them !!“
“Great wine! Easy to ride to !“
“We had aof group of 8 do a tasting. Tasting was $25 per person and we tasted 6 wines. Ali is extremely knowledgeable about all wines with her past experience. I have done over 100 wine tasting in addition to numerous barrel auctions. This was one of my top tasting experiences. The passion Ali and Eric have put into their wines shows up in the quality of each wine we tasted. One of the more unique wines we tasted was the Brave, named for cancer survivors. I have tasted many rose' wines but the Brave was more rich and full bodied. Would go great during the holiday's and with appetizers. We bought all the varietals and plan on enjoying sharing them with friends. Working on planning another visit soon“

“i drove all the way from the Los Angeles area just to come here. im a big fan of music and a big fan of wine, i couldnt ask for much more. i chose to sit outside but they have a small indoor area for tasting as well. They weren't incredibly busy when i came, it was just me and a couple so the service was immaculate. you MUST get a dog to get the full experience 😆. if youre a fan of Primus, they have their old tour bus on show and you can purchase some merchandise as well. my favorite was the Sonoma Coast Rosé, i took a bottle home for myself.“
“The Wine Road is where it's at. Having run 3 different tourist friendly businesses in Sonoma County for the last 20 years, I depend on the hard work of the Wine Road. The amount of traffic that Beth and her team have driven towards my businesses is stellar.“

“Wonderful wine tasting experience!! We reserved a tour with Viator, Food/Wine pairings, so much fun. Our favorite stop was Portalupi. Tim, one of the owners was there to explain everything. Oh their Barbera is divine!! This was our first time to California wine country, so we loved hearing all the helpful info from an expert, he has a fun personality too. We are family now, joined the wine club, all set!“
“Beautiful tasting room and property. Probably the nicest sit down side by side we did all trip. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, Bri was great!
I felt the wines were not as impressive here compared to other wineries we visited. I felt bottle prices were high. Could just be me though (not super experienced).“
“First class wines! Very knowledgeable staff! Beautiful views!“
“We had such a lovely experience day tasting wine with the special food pairings. We will be adding this as necessary stop for our yearly gals vacation.“
“A beautiful property with excellent wines. How exciting for Healdsburg to have an establishment experimenting with lesser-known indigenous Italian varietals. I appreciated their approach to making these wines to be paired with food (the Italian way) and enjoyed the lighter, lower alcohol, elegant touch to the winemaking style. It is a breath of fresh air to find a producer like this in California. In their beautiful tasting room, you will find a wide array of imported Italian goods from art, ceramics, candies, food, and ingredients. I enjoyed the display of the different regional flags from the various regions of Italy. Many people don't realize that Italy was only unified in 1861 and how unique the individual regions are. I see the effort made by the Orsi family to demonstrate this on their property. For the locals, beyond the wine, you find some of the best products from Italy. Grazie Mille.“
“Friendly and professional staff. Enjoyed the small plate from the menu with the tasting.“
“The entire experience was exceptional. Tara was lovely to work with. Her depth of knowledge and experience with the winery and the wines was very informative. Most importantly, the setting AND the wines exceeded our expectations. Thank you for such a memorable experience.“
“I wish we had more time here! Stopped by quickly, by request of my dad on the way by, but so calm, quaint, down to earth, beautiful!!“
“My wife and I had a great time tasting. Ruthanne was charming and cheerful and added details about the wines, winery and turkeys. It turns out she is conversant in native turkey chatter.
We bought some Fog Dance Pinot and sat out overlooking the vineyards while enjoying a bottle. Absolutely delightful.“
“Beautiful day to enjoy great wine.“
“My family and I had the most amazing, lovely experience at Kistler vineyards today. Our experience from the moment we arrived was warm and inviting. While the wine was superb, the experience was only heightened by the incredible attention to detail the team put into the experience. From the table setting, snacks, glass choice, and interior decorations no detail was overlooked. My family and I were particularly impressed with the food and snacks. We will dream about the dip, crackers, and pork for years to come.
However, the true star of the show or better said, the wines best supporting actress, was Camille who showed us around today. She emulated her clear passion for wine and reverence for the Kistler brand during our tasting today. Every question had answer and she was very attentive during our discussion experience today. Her knowledge, friendliness, and warmth was the hallmark of our experience.
I am so happy my family and I had the opportunity to experience Kistler in such an intimate capacity today. Undoubtedly an experience we will not forget.“
“My brother made reservations while we were going to a few wineries in the area.
The day we went was a tad rainy but the weather made the experience more special.
We were greeted by a cute grey tabby while we waited for our table.
Once seated we were welcomed with delicious wines and great ambience.
Slowly other wine tasters left and our group was the last.
Super charming and personalable winery.
Not to mention the wine will blow your socks off.
Highly recommend!“
“Ramey makes some of the very best wines in the United States. Our tasting with Martin was terrific. It was informative and extensive.
We were exposed to some new red wines in there portfolio which were great and as a result placed an order for a mixed case. We will definitely be back next trip to Sonoma.“
“Great Wine! The Pinot Noir is wonderful and this Year the Chardonnay is out of sight!“

“They had 21 Pinot Noirs and one Chardonnay which was their first endeavor with that grape. They hit a home run with it. I was even able to get a chilled bottle, just what I was looking for on a hot day. The Pinots were all good, some very dry, some not so much but not jammy.“
“I thought this winery was totally awesome, Tony was very knowledgeable and helpful. The tastings and the food pairings were great. He went above and beyond what we expected, highly recommend.“
“Visited this area for a long weekend and this was our first stop for wine, conveniently located next to our air bnb. We loved the wine and Jennifer was a wealth of wine knowledge. She showed us great hospitality and gave us recommendations on the area. We loved Jane Bond, who was such a sweet cat, and loved this small winery. Gorgeous location and we will definitely be back.“
“Hirsch was an outstanding stop. Their Pinot Noirs are truly special. They are elegant, complex, and a perfect expression of the Sonoma Coast. We had a beautifully guided tasting with a host who was incredibly knowledgeable about the vineyard’s history, farming philosophy, and winemaking approach. You can really feel the intention behind every wine.
The setting is intimate and relaxed, making it easy to focus on the wines and the stories behind them. If you’re a Pinot lover or just appreciate thoughtfully crafted wines, this is a must-visit. Highly recommend.“
“Great wines. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.“
“Premier tasting experience to accompany their premier wine. In a recent trip to Napa, my wife and I agreed our Paul Hobbs tasting experience was the best overall. The beautiful property, intimate hospitality, and relaxed nature of our visit made this a stand out which we were very happy for because of how much we love their wine. Tyson, our host was happy to educate us on the wines while also answering all of our questions. Definitely recommend making a visit to enjoy a first class wine experience.“
“Matrix Winery is located on a beautiful property just outside of Healdsburg in northern Sonoma County. Like many of the wineries in this region, pinot noir is a specialty of theirs, but zinfandel and chardonnay are also strong contenders. I was a member for the last three years, and each bottle was quality.
One of the reasons I joined Matrix’s wine club is how much I love their outdoor patio and its view. It's also an affordable tasting at $25. Don't hesitate to ask if you want to taste something other than straight pinot or zin, too! I quite liked a recent 50-50 petit sirah and zinfandel blend.“
“Great people and spectacular wines! thus will be a continuous go to for us. oh and we left with a case!😊“
“My husband and I have been going to this winery for many years. It is a delightful, family owned and run business. All aspects are family run, from growing many of the grapes used in the wines, to the wine making, through to bottling and distribution. In non-covid times, they host tastings of their wines - both in bottle and some still in the barrel - paired with delicious food nibbles. I highly recommend their wines. Among my favorites are the old and mature vine zinfandel and the Platt vineyard Pinot.“
“Amazing Piedmont, Italy inspired winery with delicious and unique wines as compared to the rest of the region. They also make one hell of a cheese and charcuterie board to pair with your wines. Would highly recommend if you want to try something different from the standard Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon wines.“
“Overshine is a fantastic update of the former Armida winery. The new incarnation presents a chill spot to enjoy some great wines set to a groovin' sound track with great views.
We visited for the first time in around 7 years thinking it might not be the Armida winery we enjoyed in the past. Well, that was true but in a really good way... Overshine has retained some of the original favorite zins while creating a vibe that's completely welcoming and relaxed.
The $35 patio 90 minute tasting is a very fair price with no pressure to join the club or other sales tactics that can ruin a winery experience. Christopher was completely tuned into our group's preferences and made the visit feel like we were hanging out with a long-time friend. We would have been there much longer enjoying our fall afternoon if we didn't have to leave for our next appointment.
Do yourself a favor and reserve a tasting at this wonderfully reimagined winery. 🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷“
“Great Russian River Valley Pinot Noir’s.“
“We found this gem while strolling through Healdsburg Downtown like the first reviewer. Loved the ambiance and the outdoor seating, the staff were very very courteous and I would definitely come back to this place. They offer peanuts with the wine tasting and the taste is unique. Lots of 2/3 hours parking nearby. I would strongly recommend it.“
“Ceritas had some stiff competition on this trip with Oshaughnessy, Myriad and Rivers Marie being my other stops but ceritas both the wine and the experience held its own. Ceritas is a small boutique winery specializing in Chardonnay and Pinot Noir with a very special Peter Martin Ray Cabernet that is a completely different though wonderful beast. Mitchell lived up to the reviews a great host entertaining and informative and the wines are some of my favorites. The wines are among the most Burgundian of the California offerings. Healdsburg is a great place to eat and we went to Armstrong redwood forest on the same day which is a not to be missed experience.“
“Just returned from California and a highlight of our trip was Koblers vineyard. Mike Jr was so passionate & informative when educating us on Koblers wine. His warm & welcoming demeanour really made our visit fun. We enjoyed the cheese & wine pairing. Such a wonderful host and the homely setting is lovely.
P.s. our wine survived the return journey to Scotland!“

“The absolute best experience. Do yourself a favor and skip all the big name wineries and visit this absolute gem of a place. Had the best time visiting with the owner, Mrs. Sue. So knowledgeable and hospitable. Wish I could have stayed longer. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend.“
