“I am absolutely enchanted by the Korbel estate and by their delicious, port, bubbly, and brandy. The deli is delightful, chock full of delightful sweets and savory sides and sandwiches. I wandered in and never wanted to leave. The view! The rich history! Did you know that the train stopped at Korbel in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s? I wish I could jump back in time. The ladies at the tasting room are my new best friends too. I was so cozy by the fire, sipping a rare rouge 🍷 Defnitely don’t skip this wonderland on your visit. If you’re local, be a member!“
“Amazing experience! The view is astonishing! Our group enjoyed every wine we tasted so much that we had to take some home for us and as gifts. We love wine and this wine was delicious. The hosts, Peggy and Kevin were so sweet and fun, it was a private tasting but it also felt like we were with family. They both made it so enjoyable. We learned so much about local wines from them. The house is gorgeous and they are lovers of art which added to the experience. Not to mention Kevin played a great playlist for us and it felt like a party.I Can’t wait to come back with more friends and family to share this with.“
“Delicious wine and knowledgeable staff!“
“Top 3 things I loved: 1) breathtaking views of the valley and a peaceful atmosphere, 2) the warm and knowledgeable service during the wine tour, 3) the stylish décor and well‑crafted wine tasting experience. I had a wonderful time and will definitely return – one of the best wineries in Russian River Valley.“
“When we stayed in the Sonoma/Healdsburg area, our resort concierge recommended that we try Gary Farrell as one of our wineries to experience while we were in the area. This was our first stop and it was an amazing winery- only open for reservations only (no walk-ins).
We arrived a few minutes before our tasting and were warmly greeted by the host staff and shown to our table, overlooking the beautiful Russian River hillside area. The views from the winery are absolutely outstanding.
We learned from our host that the owners of the Gary Farrell Winery don't own any of the vineyards, they only procure the grapes and they're the wine maker. The wines were all drastically different and some of the best Chardonnay's we have had on any of our tastings we have done in Napa.
The host was so knowledgable and very warm and friendly. We went away with a new found appreciation of their winery and purchased a bottle of wine to take home with us for a Christmas gift. Gary Farrell is truly an amazing winery and I highly recommend trying it if you're in the area! We look forward to returning!“
“Amazing wine! Got 10 cases 🙈
Our server Reed was very informative, great convo & not just about wine! We talked about business ventures, martial arts (nun chucks!), breathing exercises, wrestling & He also told us the best way to get sparkling glasses (magic erasers!) & the best place to buy them wholesale! (Sponge depot!) He will be missed but we'll see him next visit! 🥂“
“amazing wines, the owners are super personable and helpful, the charcuterie and the sangria were delicious!🍷🥂 5 star by far⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“
“Had a wonderful tour and tasting with Kat. Loved the history, philosophy of the winery/vineyard and current wine making practices. The food and wine pairings were spot on. Our entire grow up (6 in all) lives EVERY wine we were served which usually doesn’t happen. It was all so well balanced and smooth and just extraordinarily made. Truly a treasured find.“
“we did the signature wine tasting. the view is amazing and the wine was phenomenal, our wine guide was also very good at taking us through all the varieties and differences among the pinot noirs. I would definitely come back with family and friends!“
“First class wines! Very knowledgeable staff! Beautiful views!“
“Porter Creek Winery was such a peaceful gem and one of the highlights of our wine country trip. The team (Crystal) went above and beyond to accommodate us, even staying a little late so we could enjoy the experience — and we’re so grateful they did!
The setting was absolutely stunning — quiet, serene, and surrounded by natural beauty. It was the kind of view that makes you want to take a deep breath and stay a while. The wines were just as memorable, especially the Zinfandels — rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced.
To top it all off, we were greeted by Poppy, the sweetest dog who made the whole experience even more charming. Between the warm hospitality, the incredible wines, and the peaceful ambiance, it was the perfect way to wind down our day.
Highly recommend Porter Creek for anyone looking for a relaxing, intimate tasting experience with a personal touch.“
“This is the most incredible wine tasting experience I've ever been to. The wines were outstanding, the food was fantastic, and the service was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend Williamson wines and everything they do. We are already planning our next visit!“
“Amazing wine tasting in a natural beautiful environment“
“We did a wine tasting and Vivian is quite literally the best thing to happen to Sanoma since the discovery of the grape. Not only did she help us learn about each wine, she felt like a friend telling life stories at she greeted us her home. My wife is well known Chardonnay hater and after Viv helped us pick out a Chardonnay to her liking we left with a whole case. Come for the wine, stay for the Viv!“

Jan was awesome and gave us perfect recommendations 🎉 so good we had to take a couple of bottles to go!
The charcuterie was *chefs kiss* definitely grab that for the table.
According to my aunt, don’t skip smelling the candles 🕯️“
“The Flanagan Winery is an exquisite location that serves delicious wine. Our tasting visit began with Tara bringing a tray of Chardonnay to us in the parking lot and it continued with tastings of high quality Pinot Noir, Shiraz, & Cabernet. All delicious wine & at an affordable price point for good wine. We were impressed with the quality of the wine & the hospitality of Tara & of Eric Flanagan the owner, too! It was a special experience in which we learned a lot about wine making! I highly recommend it!“
“Great wine! Easy to ride to !“
“Beautiful wines! Keith was a top notch host, friendly, informative and interesting. Thank you!“
“Fun time. Awesome grounds too.“
“Love the atmosphere and champagnes !! Joined my first wine club with them !!“
“We had aof group of 8 do a tasting. Tasting was $25 per person and we tasted 6 wines. Ali is extremely knowledgeable about all wines with her past experience. I have done over 100 wine tasting in addition to numerous barrel auctions. This was one of my top tasting experiences. The passion Ali and Eric have put into their wines shows up in the quality of each wine we tasted. One of the more unique wines we tasted was the Brave, named for cancer survivors. I have tasted many rose' wines but the Brave was more rich and full bodied. Would go great during the holiday's and with appetizers. We bought all the varietals and plan on enjoying sharing them with friends. Working on planning another visit soon“

“Fate led us here on our last night in California, and we are so glad it did, because we had such an amazing time! Everything about it was wonderful, from the hospitality to the wine to the company 💜 The only thing we missed out on were the hot dogs, but we'll be back someday!“
“The Wine Road is where it's at. Having run 3 different tourist friendly businesses in Sonoma County for the last 20 years, I depend on the hard work of the Wine Road. The amount of traffic that Beth and her team have driven towards my businesses is stellar.“
“A beautiful property with excellent wines. How exciting for Healdsburg to have an establishment experimenting with lesser-known indigenous Italian varietals. I appreciated their approach to making these wines to be paired with food (the Italian way) and enjoyed the lighter, lower alcohol, elegant touch to the winemaking style. It is a breath of fresh air to find a producer like this in California. In their beautiful tasting room, you will find a wide array of imported Italian goods from art, ceramics, candies, food, and ingredients. I enjoyed the display of the different regional flags from the various regions of Italy. Many people don't realize that Italy was only unified in 1861 and how unique the individual regions are. I see the effort made by the Orsi family to demonstrate this on their property. For the locals, beyond the wine, you find some of the best products from Italy. Grazie Mille.“
“We had such a lovely experience day tasting wine with the special food pairings. We will be adding this as necessary stop for our yearly gals vacation.“
“We had an awesome tasting yesterday at this amazing winery. Robin was very friendly and excited about the different types of wines. She explained all the options throughly. We can not wait to get back home to try our selections for different dinners. Thanks again for everything.“
“I wish we had more time here! Stopped by quickly, by request of my dad on the way by, but so calm, quaint, down to earth, beautiful!!“
“Friendly and professional staff. Enjoyed the small plate from the menu with the tasting.“
“Beautiful day to enjoy great wine.“
“Cami took care of me when I popped in for a Christmas gift for my husband. She was so sweet and made me feel special. I truly appreciated it! Also, the setting of the location is gorgeous. My favorite part was the room with the fireplace. It was super cozy!“
“Great Wine! The Pinot Noir is wonderful and this Year the Chardonnay is out of sight!“
“I thought this winery was totally awesome, Tony was very knowledgeable and helpful. The tastings and the food pairings were great. He went above and beyond what we expected, highly recommend.“
“Ramey makes some of the very best wines in the United States. Our tasting with Martin was terrific. It was informative and extensive.
We were exposed to some new red wines in there portfolio which were great and as a result placed an order for a mixed case. We will definitely be back next trip to Sonoma.“
“My brother made reservations while we were going to a few wineries in the area.
The day we went was a tad rainy but the weather made the experience more special.
We were greeted by a cute grey tabby while we waited for our table.
Once seated we were welcomed with delicious wines and great ambience.
Slowly other wine tasters left and our group was the last.
Super charming and personalable winery.
Not to mention the wine will blow your socks off.
Highly recommend!“
“My wife and I had a great time tasting. Ruthanne was charming and cheerful and added details about the wines, winery and turkeys. It turns out she is conversant in native turkey chatter.
We bought some Fog Dance Pinot and sat out overlooking the vineyards while enjoying a bottle. Absolutely delightful.“
“Hirsch was an outstanding stop. Their Pinot Noirs are truly special. They are elegant, complex, and a perfect expression of the Sonoma Coast. We had a beautifully guided tasting with a host who was incredibly knowledgeable about the vineyard’s history, farming philosophy, and winemaking approach. You can really feel the intention behind every wine.
The setting is intimate and relaxed, making it easy to focus on the wines and the stories behind them. If you’re a Pinot lover or just appreciate thoughtfully crafted wines, this is a must-visit. Highly recommend.“
“We stopped by on a warm Saturday afternoon, without a reservation and were pleased to be seated right away. From the moment you pull in, you feel at home. Bocce in the courtyard, pups on site, a water view among the vines. The balcony was shaded with umbrellas allowing the sun to warm the soul. The wines are part of the Wilson family, and we were so pleased with all of the pinot noirs. We could have spent the entire afternoon there.“
“Visited this area for a long weekend and this was our first stop for wine, conveniently located next to our air bnb. We loved the wine and Jennifer was a wealth of wine knowledge. She showed us great hospitality and gave us recommendations on the area. We loved Jane Bond, who was such a sweet cat, and loved this small winery. Gorgeous location and we will definitely be back.“
“Phenomenal service and ambiance, easily the best wine tasting I have had. Wonderful setting, exquisite food selection and of course phenomenal wines.
What stood out was the attention to detail and friendliness. This is not your usual mass volume commerce tasting, but an intimate and incredibly warm and welcoming experience. Thanks to Tyson (and Lukas) for being amazing hosts.“
“Great wines. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.“
“Great people and spectacular wines! thus will be a continuous go to for us. oh and we left with a case!😊“

“They had 21 Pinot Noirs and one Chardonnay which was their first endeavor with that grape. They hit a home run with it. I was even able to get a chilled bottle, just what I was looking for on a hot day. The Pinots were all good, some very dry, some not so much but not jammy.“
“Overshine is a fantastic update of the former Armida winery. The new incarnation presents a chill spot to enjoy some great wines set to a groovin' sound track with great views.
We visited for the first time in around 7 years thinking it might not be the Armida winery we enjoyed in the past. Well, that was true but in a really good way... Overshine has retained some of the original favorite zins while creating a vibe that's completely welcoming and relaxed.
The $35 patio 90 minute tasting is a very fair price with no pressure to join the club or other sales tactics that can ruin a winery experience. Christopher was completely tuned into our group's preferences and made the visit feel like we were hanging out with a long-time friend. We would have been there much longer enjoying our fall afternoon if we didn't have to leave for our next appointment.
Do yourself a favor and reserve a tasting at this wonderfully reimagined winery. 🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷“
“Amazing Piedmont, Italy inspired winery with delicious and unique wines as compared to the rest of the region. They also make one hell of a cheese and charcuterie board to pair with your wines. Would highly recommend if you want to try something different from the standard Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon wines.“
“Great Russian River Valley Pinot Noir’s.“
“Was directed here via recommendation and the folks at Selby did not disappoint. They are doing some really nice wines for a fair price, and ours were delivered by family members of the Vintner who added some interesting stories about the origins of the winery and the individual wines we sampled. Enjoyed them so much, this was the place we bought the most wine to take home with us“
“This was the first winery my friends and I stopped at on a trip to California. While not a traditional winery in the sense of the vineyards being right next to you outdoors, it doesn't take away from the experience! I came in thinking full well that I don't really care for white wine, and the first one they poured for our tasting was absolutely fantastic! The tasting experience was fun and relaxing in addition to the wines themselves being extremely tasteful. It was so good we stopped by a second time on our way out for more. Arguably, it was my favorite winery in terms of taste. Highly recommend!“
“Ceritas had some stiff competition on this trip with Oshaughnessy, Myriad and Rivers Marie being my other stops but ceritas both the wine and the experience held its own. Ceritas is a small boutique winery specializing in Chardonnay and Pinot Noir with a very special Peter Martin Ray Cabernet that is a completely different though wonderful beast. Mitchell lived up to the reviews a great host entertaining and informative and the wines are some of my favorites. The wines are among the most Burgundian of the California offerings. Healdsburg is a great place to eat and we went to Armstrong redwood forest on the same day which is a not to be missed experience.“
“Just returned from California and a highlight of our trip was Koblers vineyard. Mike Jr was so passionate & informative when educating us on Koblers wine. His warm & welcoming demeanour really made our visit fun. We enjoyed the cheese & wine pairing. Such a wonderful host and the homely setting is lovely.
P.s. our wine survived the return journey to Scotland!“
