“Finally opened their Pinot from 2020, no joke, one of the better Pinot noirs I’ve had in a long time. it was light and peppery. Enough blush to let you know that it came from and was handled by individuals that care about their craft. Going to the winery, you don’t get a huge hullabaloo, or glitzy glam, like you would from the the Disneyland, wineries of today’s Sonoma and Napa, counties, but something of more of a throwback of yesteryear, When it was more about the grape, and less about the show. I would recommend this winery to anyone who likes to take a road less traveled. The journey will reward you well.“

We love wine and this wine was delicious.The hosts, Peggy and Kevin were so sweet and fun, it was a private tasting but it also felt like we were with family. They both made it so enjoyable. “Came here for a Chamber mixer as it's one of my favorite wineries in the world. So many great childhood memories of Korbel. The tours are fantastic. The winery is down to earth. The redwoods are magical. The view of the vineyards spectacular. Delicious deli food. “My husband Michael and I met co-owner Doug in Cloverdale, and he invited us to come visit the tasting room owned by his wife, Crystalyn, founding partner, and him. We did so and were so warmly welcomed. Music by Adam was off the charts that day, and the wines delicious. We went again and met Doug’s son, Declan, who similarly was gracious and helped us join the wine club and learn about great area restaurants and theater. A truly family affair, and a casual tasting room where you can feel at home, sip wonderful small batch wines, and listen to great music. Highly recommend, as this place stands out in the crowd.“

“Porter Creek Winery was such a peaceful gem and one of the highlights of our wine country trip. The team (Crystal) went above and beyond to accommodate us, even staying a little late so we could enjoy the experience — and we’re so grateful they did!

The setting was absolutely stunning — quiet, serene, and surrounded by natural beauty. It was the kind of view that makes you want to take a deep breath and stay a while. The wines were just as memorable, especially the Zinfandels — rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced.

“We went there Today for My 44th Birthday. I have had the Pinot Noir before. I know I’d be taking some bottles home. That being said Josh, Our Host, server and cook was kind, knowledgeable, prompt, fun & Friendly. We had the Whamola Weiners (sorry if I spelled that wrong). They were Pretty great! The Dutch Crunch buns were the best part for Me. Classed up Trashy food I LOVE IT 😉!

“A beautiful property with excellent wines. How exciting for Healdsburg to have an establishment experimenting with lesser-known indigenous Italian varietals. I appreciated their approach to making these wines to be paired with food (the Italian way) and enjoyed the lighter, lower alcohol, elegant touch to the winemaking style. It is a breath of fresh air to find a producer like this in California. In their beautiful tasting room, you will find a wide array of imported Italian goods from art, ceramics, candies, food, and ingredients. I enjoyed the display of the different regional flags from the various regions of Italy. Many people don't realize that Italy was only unified in 1861 and how unique the individual regions are. I see the effort made by the Orsi family to demonstrate this on their property. For the locals, beyond the wine, you find some of the best products from Italy. Grazie Mille.“

“Had a wonderful tour and tasting with Kat. Loved the history, philosophy of the winery/vineyard and current wine making practices. The food and wine pairings were spot on. “My brother made reservations while we were going to a few wineries in the area.

The day we went was a tad rainy but the weather made the experience more special.

We were greeted by a cute grey tabby while we waited for our table.

Once seated we were welcomed with delicious wines and great ambience.

Slowly other wine tasters left and our group was the last.

Super charming and personalable winery.

Not to mention the wine will blow your socks off.

“OVERSHINE & COMUNITÁ VIBES - Had the opportunity to visit Overshine & Comunitá Wines recently and the experience was NEXT LEVEL. Just walking into the tasting room, surrounded by Stevie Wonder, Isley Brothers, & De La Soul vinyl with a record player with a restored Macintosh receiver and Klipsch speakers - off top, made me feel right at home. The attention to detail - from the wine labels to the cozy, mid-century modern space - every decision is made with intent and you taste that in each glass.

We kicked off with a beautiful Provençal style rosé that paired perfectly with goat cheese then rolled into a Sauvignon Blanc with perfect acid and a bit of roundness. That was followed by two Pinots from the Russian River AVA that showcased Pinot’s ability to beautifully express terroir. Finally, a bold Zinfandel brought me back to my some of my favorite early wine memories of drinking rich Zinfandel with big family meals… But they saved the best for LAST. Owner David Drummond sat with us and shared wines from his passion project Comunitá Wines. We then proceeded to go on a ride through Italian inspired wines made to honor both Sonoma terroir and Italian tradition. Friulano, Pinot Grigio made in the Ramato style, Refosco, & Sciava were all refreshing & inspiring. The wines were all delicious & crafted with organically farmed grapes but, most importantly, they make you feel DOPE. Low alcohol levels and bright acidity pair well with vibing to your favorite music, a wide variety of meals, or chopping it up with new friends about life and the passion to live ALL your dreams. Truly a tasting to remember:

“Wine tasting, a Swedish owner, great wine, cool staff and the owner is like an angle, sweet, nice and Swedish;). A lot of wine, good wine, Cabernet Sauvignon is World Class. Swedish X-mas decorations with small and large "Tomtar". Wonderful truck outside and the wineyard was surronding us when we had some wine, sweet environment and very relaxed place - HIGHLY recommendable.“
