“I ordered their new Spicy Orange Chicken Fries and they were good. Good flavor and good portions. Not too spicy for me so I asked for extra chili oil. I also ordered their house special chow mein XTRA spicy and this definitely was spicy. Both dishes were good in flavor for the price. The only bad is the wait time for the dishes. Since they're popular now, expect to wait 30-60 minutes so order ahead!“

“just ordered food from China Gourmet in Signal Hill, Ca.. upon entering the restaurant a young man greeted me with a hello. He was pleasent and welcoming. He took my order of mushroom chicken, mixed vegetables and rice with a two order combo. I had BBQ pork, half and half and jalapeño chicken, with two drinks. Returned home and started to dive in! WOW IT WAS AMAZING! The pork was cooked just right, the chicken was extremely delicious and chow mein was actual chow mein and not Top Ramen noodles substitute. my friend who ordered the mushroom chicken and vegetables couldn't stop eating. I've been to numerous fast Chinese food places and none of them have been as good as this place with the quality of food and the amount given. the price was moderate in today's society of price gouging it was $27 and well worth it. if you enjoy Chinese food and really want to get a bang for your buck as well as and enjoyment of flavors in your mouth go to China Gourmet!“

“This place was always my go to when I was younger the food is bomb and the price is reasonable the cook and the cashier lady are really sweet Philippino couple. Every time I came here the lady will greet me with a smile and said I reminded her of her sister that passed away. I miss this place so much when I’m in my home town I definitely come here.“

“I order from No. 1 Chef often via Postmates. Something went wrong this time (not their fault, their computers were down), so my hubby and I took a quick trip to pick up our order. The lady was SOOOO nice and helpful over the phone. With that said, the food here is top notch! When I need comfort food, I get the egg flower soup and dumplings. The soup is ALWAYS hot and fresh and just feels like a hug. I've also ordered the egg fu yun, and trust this place is NOT stingy on the portions. Everything I've had has never disappointed. “This hidden gem food was delicious. I've lived in Carson all my life & mad that I never ate here. We had the beef fried rice, orange chicken, chicken chop suey, and dumplings. It's been a long time that I had good food like this. If you are in the area please try it. Best for take out not for dinning in.“

“This place is better than what I was thinking I am glad I tried it they do not have many american foods but the pizza and fries were decent and I really liked the seafood the dessert bar wasnt as great as I hoped but honestly the best sweets were on another bar try the sesame ball and the chinese donuts those were so good I took some home I was sad they had put a banana flavor in the icecream machine but if it was vanilla I would have been very satisfied with a root beer float they took me by surprise but I think it was honestly and accident. “Ok so we used to lived down the street from here. Approximately 2014 to 2015. One of those places that I get this nostalgia feeling...before we had our kids and before we have what we have now. The days of struggle. We used to get their deal buy 3 get 1 and we would eat it for a week. We just moved to California. We opened our clothing store and everything was tight budget. But this place in more ways saved us. They have the best bbq chicken in town and their portions is massive still...12 years later. My husband and I graduated from college...we adopted 2 kids...we came back to this place with pride and still got their specials. The owner is still the same.“

“I've had their Chow mein at friendsgiving and it was one of the best I've had. Just happened to be in the area and had to try some other entrees. Unfortunately the friend that brought it over took longer to reply on recommendations, but the orange chicken and teriyaki chicken were delicious. I'll be coming back to try some of the pork I was eyeing and some other items that were recommended.

Overall a great place for authentic fast casual Chinese food that's very generous with their servings. I came in around 7PM and there was a line extending to the inside of the door.“

“I normally would get egg Fu young for my mom. Lately they're over cooking and it's hard dry and barely any sauce is put on the fu young. They're rude whenever you call in to complain. To me they're dropping off on the quality of their food cooking since it's more Hispanic cooking your ordered. I'm going back to 103 rd where the food is much better. Instead of telling me to come back and correct my order they were so rude. I'll miss the meat egg rolls but food wise nope! They're about the same. Nothing changes except the quality in the food. I found a better spot down at 103rd St. Food is great“

It was actually pretty delicious.
The spicy chicken was cooked well and not oily. Especially the BBQ pork. Little to no fat.
And was definitely served a lot more then expected.
Good for the price. It's worth coming again.

“Panda Bowl is the best chinese food for your dollar. Food is very affordable and delicious. My family has been coming here for years. Kung Pao chicken is my favorite. The owner lady is very nice too. I have used their catering service as well to host parties. The trays were scraped clean after an hour or so. “Food: Ordered Malatang and Street Squid to share, and both were great. The Malatang, which feeds two people, had a nice heat to it (take caution, those who are heat intolerant) and a nice assortment of ingredients. The Street Squid was addictive and tender. Overall, great first impression. Who knew this little gem was sitting in our backyard!

Service: No complaints! We were waited on by two guys, who checked in on us a few times.
