“The food was very good... but the waitress who served me only came once to take the order and never came back, another person was the one who took my order and I couldn't have a new drink or more bread because the waitress never came again. .“

“It was an unfamiliar European-style (Eastern European?) meal. The taste was better than expected. You may have different preferences for some foods, but overall, it was a dish you could enjoy without burden. This is a restaurant that women will really enjoy.“

“Great breakfast entrees including super tasty pancakes and great omlettes. Parking lot is tiny and usually full. Prepare for a wait on weekends by late morning. One of the better casual breakfast spots near USC.
Parking: Small parking lot. Be prepared to park on the street.“

“We were thoroughly impressed with Mari Vee, its comfortable dining space. Our waiter Fabian was friendly and helpful. It was our first time and won’t be our last . The presentation was everything. the portions were very good. Can’t wait to try everything on the menu.“

“I love this place for breakfast! It has so many delicious options. I have tried quite a few of their offerings but I really like their Chilaquiles. They taste almost as good as how my mom makes them! They offer spicy and non spicy but I always pick spicy. And the spicy level is very good. Their pancakes and crepes are also good. I used to come here before when it was next door and it was a much smaller suite. Now it's a much bigger dining area and it's more comfortable to dine in. The wait can be long on weekends but if you're willing to wait it's well worth it. The quality is top tier here. While you wait for your food they give you a small sample of the Mexican Conchas offered by a nearby business called Panecito which has good Conchas as well. Definitely make this a spot to try. Also, the coffee is great, they have French vanilla and hazelnut as creamer.“

“Can’t say enough about how much our family loves bolt. It’s our little neighborhood spot where they cook everything from scratch and the service is excellent! We usually go for breakfast when all the baked goods (made on site) are fresh and delicious. We had the chilaquiles, corn beef hash and the brisket tacos. Everything was excellent! They are so accommodating to the kids too. I love supporting these guys.
Kid-friendliness: The proprietors are so kind, so patient and lovely to the kids. They make sure to acknowledge them and make their experience really special.“

“Enjoyed sitting outdoors with my daughter and two granddaughters after their Kaiser appointments. I had a very tasty Turkey Club sandwich with waffle fries, while my daughter enjoyed a great omelette and her kids had mini-Belgian waffles with sprinkles. Just Perfect!!“

“Amazing little spot. Service was wonderful despite it being Sunday during Labor Day weekend. Not too busy, as we were able to seat ourselves outside. Adorable dogs on the patio!
I got the French toast while my boyfriend got the waffles. We shared the eggs, bacon, and hash browns. Everything was delicious! The waffle was perfectly crispy yet tender inside. The French toast was soft as well. Order the hash browns crispy! You won’t regret it.
Parking: Adjacent parking lot“

“First time here, it’s popular and packed. So parking might be a challenge, the parking lot on sight is a bit condensed, we lucked out getting a parking space, but had to back in to the parking spot due to limited space. It seems, if you have a larger party, it may be a wait to be seated. Since there was only two of us, we were seated right away. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Seating area was a little tight, but they have fans circulating the air, so it made it tolerable. High energy music playing, but not overwhelming, nice background music-
From observation, presentation of the plates and showmanship was top notch. Portions of food were adequate. And quality of food was above average . There were flights of coffee and margaritas from what I observed. French toast and pancakes looked very appetizing and festive ( I’ll be trying them on a future visit). Overall a good experience and I have plans on returning to try other dishes. For this visit, we had the chilaquiles and the eggs divorciados. The chilaquiles were flavorful and filling, with plenty on the plate. The divorciados ,served with half a baked (menu stated baked potato but didn’t specify whole or half),had a great presentation and were good and flavorful- however being that I have a larger appetite than most, I could have used a little more on my plate. But overall a good experience and, I’m planning on future visits.“

“**Please read: the pancake portions are huge here, I saw multiple grown men not even finish half a plate and it's a ton of food waste! If you're going to order it at least know what you're getting into and get a to go box or something. That being said tgey looked AMAZING. I had an egg platter that was great as well.
Place has local dive vibes, waiter was attentive and pleasant, food and coffee was hot, and everything seemed clean.
Also shout out to the cooks in the back, those dudes hustle ??“

“Auntie Beulah's isn't just a meal, it's an experience. From the fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth bacon, egg, and cheese biscuits to the hella hot biscuit's fiery kick, every bite was a flavor explosion.Let's start with the star of the show: the poutine gravy fries. Creamy, cheesy gravy blanketing perfectly crispy fries - it's the ultimate comfort food, elevated. The chicken tenders were juicy and perfectly seasoned, offering a delicious crunch with each bite. For a sweet treat, the French toast sticks were heavenly. Dipped in maple syrup, they were soft, fluffy, and the perfect way to satisfy a sweet tooth. But wait, there's more! The smothered biscuits were smothered in rich, flavorful gravy, making them a hearty and satisfying dish. And the cheesy grits? Oh my, the cheesy grits! Creamy, cheesy, and oh-so-good, they were the perfect side to any dish.Speaking of sides, the banana pudding was a delightful ending to the feast. Fresh bananas layered with creamy pudding and whipped cream - it was the perfect touch of sweetness to top off an incredible meal.A special shoutout to the hella hot biscuit. This one packs a punch! If you love spicy food, this is definitely for you. It's not for the faint of heart, but for those who dare, it's a flavor adventure worth exploring. The service was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall warm and inviting atmosphere. Auntie Beulah's is more than just a restaurant; it's a place where you can feel the love and passion poured into every dish. I can't wait to go back and explore more of their menu!Highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for delicious Southern comfort food with a modern twist. 5 stars all around!P.S. You won't regret ordering everything I mentioned, but if you have to choose, the poutine gravy fries and hella hot biscuit are must-tries!“

“I have warm memories of my first visit to the LA branch due to the welcoming staff and kindness of the server. :)
Parking: This was my first visit and I felt good as a traveler due to the friendly staff's hospitality. I looked for it while I was staying in LA, as I had already enjoyed it a lot on the East Coast. The valet service seemed comfortable, but talking about tips too openly and as if it were obvious was not a pleasant experience.“

“Tuesday 8/27/24 Lunch at Tip Top Sandwich in Rosemead. I was craving for their Banh mi and Vietnamese ice coffee. They make good Banh mi here. Crunchy bread with a good amount of tasty meats, liver spread, pickle carrots and a strong refreshing ice coffee on a warm day. Life is good. It hits the spot.

“"Absolutely stellar experience at Homies breakfast truck in Highland Park! Adam, the owner, is an absolute gem of a person—friendly, welcoming, and truly passionate about his craft. From the moment I stepped up to the truck, I could feel the warmth and dedication that Adam puts into every dish.Let's talk about the food—mouthwatering is an understatement! The breakfast burrito I had was hands down one of the best I've ever tasted in LA, and that's saying something! The flavors were perfectly balanced, the ingredients fresh, and the portion size generous. Each bite was a symphony of deliciousness. But what truly sets Homies apart is Adam's unwavering passion for his food. It's evident in every aspect, from the meticulous preparation to the genuine care he shows to each customer. And let me tell you, when you see the passion reflected in every bite, you know you're experiencing something special. If you're in Highland Park and craving a breakfast that will make your taste buds sing, do yourself a favor and head to Homies breakfast truck. “I recently discovered Garden Cafe, I work quite close to it and didn't even know it! The inside is small but well decorated. I ordered the Mediterranean vegetarian wrap. It was good, not the greatest, but good. There are a few other vegetarian options I will have to try, and I heard their breakfast is really good! I will have to come back again.“

“First thing as a heads up they are to go orders only since the pandemic. There's no parking on the site.
Now I had the breakfast: eggs, grits, pork chop, and pancakes
The grits and pork chop was delicious, and the pancakes were just how I like em!
I've read a lot of stuff about this place having a rude owner, but the man who helped today was everything but rude.
I came to the door not realizing it was order to go only, but he was kind enough to walk me through his menu process (QR code) and even walked the food over to my car. The next parking lot over. The owners name is David, and he informed Naka's broiler has been serving the Compton area for 66 years! This establishment is a local treasure and Should be treated as such.
Give respect to earn respect, c'mon y'all didn't you watch Mr Rogers?“
