Do whatever it takes to get those special pancakes. And if you like bread pudding, you'll LOVE their bread pudding bites!!“

“We’re very happy to find a halal restaurant near where we’re staying. This was our first time trying Somalian food. The food taste was delicious and interesting and the portion was generous, easily shareable between two persons. Our dish had lots of beef and very flavorful rice.

The restaurant ambience was also interesting, it felt like going back to 1970-1980.“

We were a group of nine heading to a concert at the Kia Forum, so we already had some challenges—limited time before the show and managing a large group. “Tucked away behind LAX, this is a great Thai restaurant. Food was delicious and the service was great, even the decor was fun and festive. I prefer my Thai food of the sweeter side and so I really enjoyed the flavors here. The lunch menu is a good deal in today's economy. Very popular with the work lunch crowd.“

I highly recommend trying:
* Tostaditos – Marlin pâté tostada topped with shrimp and octopus ceviche. So much flavor!
* Pescado Zarandeado – Grilled snook with house sauce, caramelized onions, and warm tortillas. Smoky, tender, and delicious.
* Ceviche de Pescado – Super fresh fish marinated in lemon with cucumber, tomato, onion & green chile. Refreshing and bright.
Pair it all with a lime margarita and a cold Modelo Negro and you’re set for an amazing meal. Can’t wait to come back!“

I really enjoy the service and food. I usually just order the food to go.
They offer a big menu here.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Classic American breakfast with burgers for lunch and dinner. A lot of people order the menudo on the weekends and it looks good. These are not freshly made burgers, more like frozen patties made to order. But this place is solid. I usually get the bacon avocado burger with fries or the Acapulco chicken plate. They are fulfilling and very good. No complaints.“

“Looked up a local panaderia while visiting LA and found this place. Upon arriving at 6:30 pm on a Wednesday evening and seeing a line out the door I wondered what was going on! It is a small panaderia but the Mexican sweet bread was fantastic! The conchas were just coming out of the oven so I grabbed one and a crème filled empanada. Both were delicious! Will return on my next trip to LA!“

“My sons and I stopped in without any prior knowledge or recommendations. THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS! We were served home made chips, black beans, and salsa at the table, and had two baskets of chips!
My sons ordered the carne asada tacos. The steak was tender and savory. Traditional style “street” tacos BUT with a hefty serving of steak.
I had the fish tacos plate. The fish was grilled and seasoned tilapia, with homemade sauce and salsa. The three tacos were packed with fish. The rice was phenomenal and the refried beans were outstanding.
I normally don’t eat tilapia yet this was the best preparation I have had.
It truly feels like you’re treated to inside someone’s home, as the service was excellent and the food scrumptious.
I just wish I had tried more dishes and taken pics!

Fast service, drinks came out that same minute and as for my food Got the steak and eggs med rare and I admit was a bit worried cause it came out very quick but thankfully it was cooked perfectly so that’s amazing. The highlight on top of all this was my server Marilú, I believe is her name, made you feel at home. Super kind and attentive :’)

“Absolutely the finest Soul Food. You don't want to skip this place. I had the lunch portion of the Oxtail and chose the Candied Yams and Mac and Cheese as sides. It came with 2 Cornbread Muffins. It was all delicious and filling. I ordered the Coconut Pineapple Cake for Dessert. It filled the container. See the picture. Totally Recommend this place.“

It's nice and clean, but as far as I can see, only outdoor seating is available. And no public restroom.
The food is really good. I like the Carne Asada Nachos. They put a little kick in it. And have a large variety of shakes and smoothies which are always thick and delicious.“

“If you like quality Chinese cuisine, go to Little Asia ASAP! My party of three loved the food! We had egg rolls, sesame chicken, lemon chicken, and string beans with beef. Both were good and did not feel too heavy. They also have jugos naturales (natural fruit juice) and agua frescas! Small parking lot.“

The gorditas were hand-made, but I wish they were made thicker. It was almost as thin as a tostada and was very crunchy as well. Great taste still, and the filling, including the asada, was tender and smoky like they grilled it. Very thin and tender pieces of meat, and they give a good portion size of it. 3 gorditas were enough to get full. Will try more items here in the future for sure. Great kind service.“
