We we rather disappointed recently when we called to make reservations for 4 for lunch on 2/25/2022 and were informed they only take reservations for 5 or more. Is this true ? If so they should so state on their web site.“

Lady working the cashier was absolutely amazing. Sweetest lady ever. The cooks were amazing and they have a very good crew working. “We always reserve a table for lunch when we're in San Francisco. It never disappoints. Our server, Dhan (forgive me if I didn't get that right!!), was remarkable. Kind and funny, and very attentive to the food sensitivities in our group. We often start with a glass of champagne but this visit we changed it up with mocktails. The salads were delicious and the buttery lettuces were beautiful on the plate. My family went for Rotunda's famous warm chocolate chip cookies for dessert, but I ordered the strawberry sorbet, it tasted like fresh picked berries and was a blast of summer tho it was cool in the city. Plan ahead, they really can get booked up.“

“I’m a sandwich (and Italian hoagie) aficionado, constantly seeking out the best. I actually have an entire category of sandwich shops and deli’s saved on my phone. I will drive (or more likely ride my motorcycle 2+ hours just to try a new place.

Take it from me: Lucia’s is a rare gem. Five stars. Terrific bread, thinly sliced meats and cheese, fresh produce, homemade spread: they had it all.

And LOTS of it. I knew as soon as I picked up the bag: huge, loaded sandwich. I couldn’t get my mouth wide enough to get the whole thing at once. Then, I could only eat half. I brought the other half home and my wife could only eat half of that half. I enjoyed the rest the next day.

I should’ve taken a picture but was too busy devouring the thing. I will definitely be back, and I will remember to take a picture then. It’s as good an excuse as any for a return visit. See you there.“

“Totally worth the drive to fish and see Barbara when they open for lunch.. Barbara is totally awesome. Cash only don't worry. There is ATM in the back. Large food and alcohol selection. We had no problems finding a seat on a Saturday afternoon. Plenty of amazing outside seating looking at the lake. Side note my friend comes here occasionally and fishes on the straight. He took me here today and we almost caught a Sturgeon together.“

“This is a very nice brunch place with reasonable prices and good portions. I had the corned beef hash and was disappointed. It was way under seasoned... needed a lot of salt and pepper, and the corned beef chunks were just okay. My wife had a make your own Benedict and she loved it, but our grandson had French toast and did not think it was very good. Our daughter echoed my comments about the potatoes being under seasoned, although she enjoyed her omelette. Mostly, I was disappointed by the service. It took us about 15 minutes to get our drinks after we ordered them, and once we got our food the service person was not particularly visible during the meal. After we finished, the service person kept going in and out of the kitchen but never glanced at us to see if we were ready for the check. So, to summarize, reasonably good food, good portions, pleasant atmosphere, lackadaisical service.“

“95 percent fantastic. Service was great, and food was delicious. Beware that you may be offered bread, without being told of the cost. Also, my friend got a side order of vegetables with her burger. I got a side order with my entree. Hers was a small bowl and mine was a large one; each was $7. Odd. But, in the end, we both very much enjoyed our good and nice service.“
