We ordered 4 different bento boxes and two bowls, so fresh and tasty. I love supporting small businesses! Do yourself a favor and give them a try! “Ate dine in at this little hole-in-the-wall joint on a recent visit to LA. Close (street) parking was a miracle, but theres also parking (and bathrooms) across the street at the El Super. Portions for a Boil Bag were generous, one corn, potato, rice and a few broccoli were included. All amenities were provided: table paper, bibs, sanitizer, bucket, gloves, scissors for crab legs. Cajun garlic butter seasoning was delicious, not too spicy for the kids. Speaking of kids, seafood boil keep kids remarkably entertained! This place deserves all the good reviews. Our only (small) complaint is the distance to a bathroom, but it's a small price to pay for a delicious meal.“

“L&E is my go-to neighborhood spot. So lucky that I am steps (well, two flights of Silver Lake steps) away. I just threw my birthday there with my closest girlfriends and their staff made the night so special. The food was incredible, the vibes were immaculate - always have an amazing time at L&E.“

“don’t listen to those people below. i’ve been here several times and it’s always an amazing experience. if you’re afraid of shrimp with the heads on and order a pimento cheeseburger with lettuce instead of a bun, you are infinitely unqualified to critique food.

what takes this place from good to great is the service. the host and servers are attentive without being overbearing and are deeply knowledgeable about all aspects of the raw bar, cooked food, wine, and beverages. i’ve never had an issue with accommodating simple modifications (like removing a pork product).

I was in fact at the restaurant the night one reviewer below (complaining about the service) was there. they were an entitled group of drunk girls asking for difficult requests (trying to split the bill a number of ways). as they were walking out of the restaurant and waiting for the uber, they were extremely loud and rude. I wouldn’t be particularly excited to serve their group either.

“Tranquil spot with various omakase options. Came here with my family for an early dinner and made a reservation online beforehand. We opted for the Sushi Bar Omakase for $109 which came with 8 courses (including dessert). A couple of courses had multiple pieces, and we left very full. The blue crab hand roll was my favorite part; it was huge, hot, and the sauce that accompanied it was delicious. The fish was super fresh and the pieces kept coming. It was fun to watch them being prepared right in front of us at the bar (there are table seats as well). We enjoyed our meal and I would recommend this for special occasions or a way to treat yourself.“

“Nice restaurant in East Hollywood. Place was clean and a little slow when I went. The prices were reasonable although I felt you didn't get that much fish in the order. The staff was really friendly and made sure everything was in the bag. The fish was tasty as well. The garlic bread was ok a little on the dry side but they give me extra butter so that was fine. The strawberry mint drink was quite good though. If you are in the mood for fish this is a good spot.“

“Very cute spot, that I would return to if I had a random weekday off. When we went there were hardly any other parties so we had no issues finding a seat.

The menu has something for everyone. It didn't take long for our order to come out. Portions were bigger than what I was expecting (I was worried they were going to be tapas sized portion, but the yellowtail tostada was quite filling), so I would say that dishes are reasonably priced. My friend and I felt the flavors hit the mark with each dish.

In retrospect, I could have ordered just the tostada with my americano and be satisfied. But I am glad to have tried more things on the menu. I would say that the dishes, while savory, leaned more light which I think is perfect for brunch.

During our visit, I got the yellowtail tostada, fish taco, and flautas. All were delicious. They also have a milk punch/clarified cocktail that my friend ordered (which are hard to find in LA) and it was also a well balanced drink.“

“The entire experience was flawless and a wonderful way to celebrate Thanksgiving. The whole team, including the manager, were gracious and attentive. And, the meal was the best I've had all year out of all the fine restaurants I've dined at in both Orange and LA county. “My husband and I googled a boiling crab originally and this place popped up. We were hesitant but the food looked good and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! We called to see if there was any wait time. Since there wasn’t we went. From the moment we stepped in the service was AMAZING and food was DELICIOUS! The gumbo, clam, shrimp, crab, and corn! Absolutely everything was great! “$3 fish tacos on wednesdays are pretty good. From the overall size not some mini version taco and the tortilla the fish tacos are served on they dont get soggy by the time you get home.
