“I noticed this place when driving around and decided to try it. I was happy with the selection of items to choose from and their trays were full when I walked in to order food to go. I decided on the shrimp and vegetables that came with rice and noodles. The shrimp was a decent size and I enjoyed the flavor.“

“A real gem of a place among a lot of average Chinese restaurants in this area. The Peking duck itself is done in a style that seems authentic to Beijing, though it may not suit everyone's tastes especially those with a canto preference. Majority of the banquet restaurants in SGV have a Cantonese slant to Peking duck dishes (lotus buns, sweeter hoisin sauce, slightly more caramelized skins) but I'm not trying to draw too much of a comparison here as its just fundamentally different.

Duck House was fantastic in terms of flavor and preparation of the duck. The skin was super crispy, the meat tasted fairly lean yet succulent, and the sauce/condiments paired very well. Delicious, and upscale, though I would say for one duck and only 10 pancakes, it was nearly $100 and I don't think it was so outstanding to warrant that price. We added 5 lotus buns and 5 add'l pancakes which bumped it to $110. It did however feed 3 adults and 2 young kids fully, so about $20 pp is pretty decent for fancy duck.“

“I personally love their jajangmyeon. The best jajangmyeon I ever had was at Yong Moon Lu @ Rowland Heights (please try their gan-jajangmyeon/간짜장), but this one is pretty good too. The jjamppong is not bad either.

“Been coming here since the 90s when my mom would bring us as kids. We moved a few times and still make the drive. The owner and staff are very friendly and the food is sooooo good. I will post pics next time I go. I always forget and we all dig in. Its my husband's and kids favorite spot too. We come here for birthdays and just because and make the 1 hr 30 minute (thats with no traffic) drive . I love that this is now a tradition for my lil family.

“I usually take out/delivery and this place is really good. It's a small business so it makes me feel good to support the community. You cannot go wrong with the Chinese food here at all. I also appreciate the variety of Chinese food available here, its not just orange chicken, but they have shrimp, pork, and fish dishes. Even the boba is really good and nice and chewy. Don't skip the boba here either.“

“My favorite place to go whenever I'm craving hot pot nowadays! I'm not able to handle spice so I've only tried their Tomato broth, Chicken broth, and the extra mild version of the Beef Bone broth. But all 3 broths are delicious; the Tomato is sweet & tart without being too much of either, and both the Chicken and the Beef Bone are deeply flavorful without being either too watery & bland, nor too fatty & heavy. The selection of ingredients is nice as well, a good variety of tasty fish/meat balls, veggies, tofu's, and a surprisingly numerous offering of different proteins, including seafood, as well as various starches. Service has been pretty good thus far, every time I've been there, there were wait staff regularly coming by to check for water refills and napkins etc. I had to take a star off for Atmosphere though; there basically isn't any. But as long as the food stays as good as it is now, i could care less about the atmosphere to be honest.=P“

We had the lobster prepared their house special way! It came out of the kitchen quickly, perfectly seasoned and stir-fried. We ate it with some ong choy sauteed in garlic and some rice. So, after reading good reviews, about this establishment, I thought to have my dinner. Oh boy, I was not disappointed. The meals, that I have ordered, were delicious. Furthermore, they were well made. At the same time, the waitress, who attended my table, was helpful, and attentive. I forgot to add that there was ample of space, to sit down, and enjoy a meal. “Pickled Fish: The fish is so tender that it melts in your mouth, the sauerkraut is crispy and appetizing, the soup base is sour and spicy but not choking at all, every bite is full of sincerity! I especially like the light numbing aroma, paired with hot rice, it is simply a healing tool in winter!

Guobao Pork: Under the golden and crispy skin is tender and juicy tenderloin. The ratio of sweet and sour sauce is just right. You can hear the "click" when you bite into it! The texture is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It is definitely a textbook interpretation of Northeastern cuisine!

Home-style tofu: The tofu is fried until it is charred on the outside and tender on the inside. It absorbs the fragrance of the sauce and is smooth and tender in the mouth without losing the bean flavor. Paired with the crispness of fungus and green pepper, it is full of texture, simple but full of homey taste, and it is a perfect meal!

The three dishes in this restaurant each have their own merits. The taste is authentic and the portions are substantial. You will become a fan after eating it once! Highly recommended to friends who love food~“
