This was my second visit to this site and the atmosphere, staff and restaurant meets Chang's standards that I've come to expect. Started with short ribs with dry rub. First time for that preparation and it was wonderful as was the rest of the meal. Staff was attentive, prompt and friendly. If you happen to be near, I highly recommend it.“

“Yong moon lu is the best. I would go everyday if I could! The yangjang pi was the best I’ve ever had with just enough spice from the mustard. It was delicious as leftovers too (the portions were huge - we had leftovers for days). The fried chicken was really good too. Even better than the sweet and sour pork, which is typically my favorite. We were so full but still enjoyed the jjajangmyeon and jjampong. The candied sweet potato they gave at the end as a free dessert was absolutely delightful. I wish they sold it! It’s so good. Not too sweet (the best Asian compliment). The staff are extremely fast, helpful, and very hard working. We got great service. Can’t wait to go again! Try to go early because they have a huge wait but.. it’s also worth the wait. “This is an unforgettable dining experience for me! The atmosphere is very happy and inviting, all the decors are so fun and gives out good vibes. The large iron stew is a must-try—delicious and ideal for sharing. The menu has a lot of with famous Chinese dishes. My favorite and unexpected dish was the traditional desserts with pears and a lot of longevity herbs. Totally recommend for family or celebratory occasions!“

“Found this hidden gem in Whittier! Tried the dumplings and they were authentic and delicious! They also have a lot of different items such as noodle dishes and fried appetizers. Ordered the fried potstickers, dumplings, and sesame noodle, definitely recommend the potstickers they were so good!“

We ordered the combo for 4, came with 2 plates of already deboned chicken, 4 bowls of rice and soup stock, 1 plate of stirred fry Shanghai choi and 1 playe of smashed cucumber pickle and small tub of pried peanuts. The chicken was mediocre , the soup stock tastes like warm water which is really puzzling with all the chicken that they served. The 2 dipping sauce were not enough for the entire chciken plates. They charge extra if i you ask for more. Order through the QR code. Doesn’t work when we were there.“

“I'm giving them 5 stars for the quality and taste of their signature offering --- lobster! Ours was huge and expensive, but we allowed ourselves this luxury to satisfy our craving. Definitely worth our visit after a morning spent walking around Ikea. A friend of ours told us about this place a while back but we waited a long time to try them out. It was worth it. We had the lobster prepared their house special way! It came out of the kitchen quickly, perfectly seasoned and stir-fried. We ate it with some ong choy sauteed in garlic and some rice. The lobster proved too much for 2 people, but we didn't mind taking the rest home. Next time, we will definitely try their other dishes.“

“It's our first visit and it happened to be a lunch on a Saturday. It wasn't too crowded but it seemed like the staff were all preoccupied. We stood for several minutes and waited for someone to usher us to a table. We almost walked out after several minutes of waiting, until someone cleaned the nearby table and with an apologetic look, led us to our table.

They served roasted peanuts as appetizer. No one came around to give us a menu so I went to the counter and asked for a menu myself. I scanned the room and no one seems to think to service our table until I locked eyes with the person who seated us
She finally walked towards our table and took our order.

We ordered all classic Chinese dishes: wonton noodles soup, honey walnut shrimp, clam with black bean sauce, and chow fun with beef. They redeem themselves with their food. The servings were generous, all food tasted great. My favorite, hands down would be the soup and honey walnut shrimp.

June took care of us from beginning to end. She checked in on us frequently. She was polite, respectful, and courteous. We will come back again for sure to try out other dishes.“

“I had a positive experience here. My first time to order, the girl at the counter was nice and patient with me to explain everything and let me try couple of items for taste.
Black menu is for already prepared items and white menu is made to order.
Food was very tasty.
I ordered 3 item dish from black menu that came with noodles, steam white rice, spicy chicken, beef and broccoli and jalapeno chicken.

“Pickled Fish: The fish is so tender that it melts in your mouth, the sauerkraut is crispy and appetizing, the soup base is sour and spicy but not choking at all, every bite is full of sincerity! I especially like the light numbing aroma, paired with hot rice, it is simply a healing tool in winter!

Guobao Pork: Under the golden and crispy skin is tender and juicy tenderloin. The ratio of sweet and sour sauce is just right. You can hear the "click" when you bite into it! The texture is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It is definitely a textbook interpretation of Northeastern cuisine!

Home-style tofu: The tofu is fried until it is charred on the outside and tender on the inside. It absorbs the fragrance of the sauce and is smooth and tender in the mouth without losing the bean flavor. Paired with the crispness of fungus and green pepper, it is full of texture, simple but full of homey taste, and it is a perfect meal!

The three dishes in this restaurant each have their own merits. The taste is authentic and the portions are substantial. You will become a fan after eating it once! Highly recommended to friends who love food~“

“Tasty Goody in Norwalk is hands down the best Chinese food place this side of the Mississippi. I go there whenever I want some ? orange chicken, and it never disappoints. The portions are huge, and the prices are great for how much food you get. The orange chicken has the perfect amount of crunch and sauce, and the noodles are always fresh. “Pretty decent branch Chinese restaurant. Prices are decent for congee and noodles but chengfei is a little bit pricey. Service is alright but food comes out quick. The quality of food is very good especially the seafood congee. Chengfei is pretty good as well, and it's freshly made. Mushroom Shu Mai is decent and big. Probably coming back for congee and other items next time, and recommend people who want something cozy for breakfast or lunch here.“

they do have dimsum options as well but the pricing for them are a bit high in my opinion and are okay

we ordered the salty egg custard bun - which was one of my personal favorite bc you can't get it elsewhere but after one i was kinda sick of it b/c it was a real specific flavor
the XLB were not the greatest and kin of small of an amount for the price

“Let's get to the point: BEST LAMB SOUP EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. ? Don't get me wrong, the lamb dumplings and the meat pies are both freaking excellent, but the soup just takes it to a whole next level. It's amazingly savory and flavorful and you can really taste the quality lamb and all that lamb flavor in the broth itself. ?

There is a full sauce bar where you can make sauces for your soup or your dumplings. The sauce bar also has complimentary soup broth for you to have with your meal or refill your soup, (though this is a much watered down version of the real entree soup item.) They also give out complimentary milk tea, edamame, and snack jerky for the table. We also got complimentary milk tea while you wait, as the line can be long during peak hours, (though it does move fast.) So much free stuff! ?

My friend who is from Inner Mongolia was the one that took me here, and even she was impressed and said this is the closest thing to the food from her hometown. ?
