“I've tried Hainan chicken all my life, and this one is special. Portions are very generous. The chicken is very tender and cooked to perfection. The rice is incredible even it's just rice. But they Cook the rice in a way that's not very greasy like other places. Kind of dry and tasty.
We also tried the potato noodles since it's highly rated with other reviews. We ended up taking to go since it was just too much food for 2 is us.
Be careful online shows Xin Wang restaurant but the actual sign in front says Ana Wang Hainan Chicken. But it is the same. Don't know why.

We had the lobster prepared their house special way! It came out of the kitchen quickly, perfectly seasoned and stir-fried. We ate it with some ong choy sauteed in garlic and some rice. We ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and the fried pork chops with jalapeños — both excellent. The noodles were perfectly chewy with a subtle smoky wok flavor, not too oily, and generous with chicken and vegetables. “The family was in the mood for some Korean Chinese food and the place closer to my house was closed so we found this place. With good reviews we decided to try it. For those that grew up with Korean Chinese food, this place is just like what you remember from back in the day. They didn't try to modernize anything and just kept it as is, just like it's supposed to be. Everything was good and it tasted fresh. I usually don't order Mongolian beef as most times, the meat is very chewy, but it wasn't here. It was tender and flavored very nicely. We also ordered the Noodles with Black Bean Sauce Noodle aka Jajangmyeon. I liked it but it wasn't great. My family on the other hand thought that it was great. The Sweet & Sour pork and the Fried Shrimp with hot garlic sauce were crunchy despite us ordering to go. Their portion size was also good. I find most places charge more AND reduce the portion size but here, although the prices did increase, the portion size is still good. That's a big plus in my book. Overall, I would come back here again and would recommend it to others.“

Got 3 3 items combos work wonton soup extra rice noodles and rice and a lrg coke for $56. Fed 6 people with almost half leftover. They also have a special 3 lrg items and rice,noodles egg flower or hot & sour soup and 4.soda.cans

“Tasty Goody in Norwalk is hands down the best Chinese food place this side of the Mississippi. I go there whenever I want some ? orange chicken, and it never disappoints. The portions are huge, and the prices are great for how much food you get. The orange chicken has the perfect amount of crunch and sauce, and the noodles are always fresh. I’ve tried a lot of places, but nothing really compares to Tasty Goody. Plus, the people there are super nice and quick with your order. Definitely my go-to spot for Chinese food.“

There is a full sauce bar where you can make sauces for your soup or your dumplings. We also got complimentary milk tea while you wait, as the line can be long during peak hours, (though it does move fast.) So much free stuff! ?

Everything in New China is cooked on request, so the food is fresh. Some dishes can take an hour, two, or three hours to prepare. So order your food about one to two hours ahead when you want to pick it up, and they will prepare it for that time so it is hot off the wok.

We love this place. We discovered it earlier this month, in January 2025, and have already been twice as a group of six. We order way too much food to sample, which still comes under $30 per person.

This is the absolute freshest, tastiest Chinese food around. One of our couples has been eating Chinese around the Whittier area for over 30 years, and they were also there for the first time this month. They were jonesing to go back so soon. We still need to try the moo shu pork. I need to order that one 3 hours ahead of time.

One woman does everything out front, and two or three men cook in the back. The last time we arrived, two other couples were dining, and the service was excellent. That night, there was a notice on the door that said no drop-in take-out (see above about ordering ahead). Service can be slower if several groups arrive simultaneously, but the food is well worth it. If you want, you can take your time at this restaurant with a dinner lasting two or three hours and won't be rushed out. It's a great place to go as a group or a couple.“
