“I was at Heritage to celebrate a special occasion — the restaurant was cozy and homey. The kitchen was right in front of us, so the whole room was filled with different aromas. Both the service and food were great. The first few courses were delicious, adding a bit of extra excitement to the meal. That said, for a restaurant charging $195/person with a Michelin star, serving food and beverages on a cracked plate and in a chipped cup felt off. When I asked the staff about it, she gave me a smirk and downplayed it with some excuses and brushed it off. Better quality control may be needed as your guests deserve better.“

Starting with the welcoming staff at the entrance. John, your hospitality is the beginning of the joyful experience. The restaurant is so elegant. We enjoyed the vaulted ceilings with wood beams. We enjoyed the large window at the kitchen area so you can see the Chefs at work. We got to sit next to the impressive wine rack display. The restaurant’s ambiance wouldn’t be complete without the soft background music. Our waiter, Issac, was a delight. He provided us with his expertise in choosing our wines, appetizers, entrees, and desserts. It was a pleasure to meet to give special thanks to the Chef, Danny Le and Su Chef, Donald. “This year we chose Black Bear diner for the location of our annual Chrispen Team Pumpkin Pie giveaway, and we couldn't have been more impressed. The manager Isaid was amazing from the start helping me plan the event and order hundreds of pies. The large patio provided a private and cheerful atmosphere and was the perfect spot for the event. Carlos and the rest of the staff were amazingly attentive and handled everything we needed on the day of the event. “My wife, her cousin, and I stopped by here after Sunday mass for breakfast. First of all, it's in an old schoolhouse, which in and of itself, is super cool. The restaurant is will kept, clean, and has very nice decor. The staff are warm, welcoming, and attentive. My wife ordered the turkey sandwich, her cousin, the fish and chips, and I ordered the chili cheese omelette. All three meals were delicious. This place is a gem. We will definitely be back in the near future.“

As a Northern California resident near Napa Valley, I appreciate the art of good food and beautiful surroundings. Napa Rose offers a uniquely enchanting experience, where Southern California’s flair for design meets Disney magic.

We chose outdoor seating by the fireplace, with soft table lighting illuminating each dish and the Disney monorail gliding overhead. The atmosphere was romantic, whimsical, and almost cinematic. The food was enjoyable, too, making the evening a feast for both the eyes and the palate. ✨

The only drawback? The prices are definitely on the high side. You’re paying for more than the cuisine—you’re investing in the ambiance, service, and an unforgettable setting.

My recommendation: Worth considering for a special occasion or a romantic evening, especially if you value atmosphere as much as food. It may not be the best choice for budget-conscious diners, but for a little Disney magic over dinner, Napa Rose offers something truly memorable. 🌹“

“We had a great dining experience at Urban Plates in Long Beach. Mariana explained the menu choices in a very unrushed manner, and we decided on the steak. I ordered the Chimichurri grass-fed steak with balsamic brussel sprouts and herb-roasted potatoes. All of it was delicious ( and healthy too!). The deserts were absolutely killer too. We will definitely eat here again next time we're in Long Beach.“

Atmosphere was quiet and friendly. Lots of folks having nice little meetups and saying good morning to each other. Seems like a great place to be a regular.

“I've been going to Pieloon for a few years now and it is THE BEST restaurant in Downey! The food is always fabulous, the portions are large, the service is perfect! I've had appetizers, salads, pastas, steaks, burgers, sandwiches (I'm addicted to the BLT) and many of their specials. My family and I go now 2x a week and have trouble deciding what to get because it's all so good! And the pies...their pumpkin pie is the best I've ever had and the blueberry cheesecake is fabulous...but just wait until fresh peach pie season...I'll gain weight just thinking about it...the fresh peach is the best pie I've ever, EVER had! I love this place and the people who work there!! They're like family now!“

“I had been wanting to visit Wings Café for quite some time, and it exceeded my expectations.

The food was excellent, and the atmosphere made the experience unique. Being able to enjoy breakfast while watching the activity around the airport was something my kids and I really enjoyed. The omelets, eggs, and hash browns were delicious, and the portions were generous.

As an added bonus, there was a classic car show taking place during our visit, which made the day even more memorable.

If you’re looking for great food, friendly service, and a one-of-a-kind aviation atmosphere, I highly recommend Wings Café. We will definitely be back.“
