“My fiance and I were in the area for my nephew's wedding. On Sunday morning, we looked for a breakfast location. We prefer the small local restaurants as opposed to the chains. Up popped this Laguna Cafe, close by where we were staying. From the time we entered the door, it was obvious we picked the right spot! it was cozy, homey, friendly and downright delicious. The clientele were all laughing, enjoying the morning and the atmosphere. We got served by Monja, the proprietor, who wore a shirt with our favorite scripture, John 3:16. As we bowed our heads to pray, she gently joined us in prayer. What a blessing. Needless to say, we will go back when in the area. Highly recommend the food too! And say Hi to Monja from Mark and Dianne from Arizona!“

“These sandwiches are really fresh and so delicious. It is noticeable that these young people also think about the environment and wrap everything in paper instead of plastic, which is rare in the USA.
What surprised us a bit is the service. The girl was very taciturn and when asked if there was dry coffee she said yes but not now! But it still smelled like coffee ??‍♀️ If the team becomes a little more relaxed with the guests and offers this quality of sandwiches, the shop will be really full every day and they'll open the next ones soon! “Second visit to Limoncello and want to say the food is excellent in every way. Last night I had Arugula salad (very lemony dressing), the Risotto (outstanding) and chocolate gelato which was VERY chocolate. Topped with a nice wine. All Excellent. As for atmosphere, lots of large parties there last night celebrating Christmas and birthdays so was quite noisy, but 'tis the season. Highly recommend Limoncello. Food and service are excellent and above average. Menu is extensive with very different and interesting options. If they would have served a shot of Limoncello after dinner I would have thought I was dining in Italy.“

“I wanted to reach out and let you know how much I enjoyed my recent visit to your bakery. From the moment I walked in, I felt the warmth and charm of the space, and the scent of fresh pastries made it feel like a little slice of heaven and very less sugary. My family always complained about too much sugar in most pastries and cookies. However, now they are so happy to buy pastries and Danish here.
I especially loved the Sour Dough Baguette, and my son became a regular customer for the almond croissant and Turkish coffee. It was truly delicious, and the quality was great. The team was welcoming and attentive, making the experience all the more enjoyable.

Pro tip: go early (4:30-6) for your choice of seats (with nice views) and the happy hour menu which includes some of the best small plates and cocktails. Bang Bang shrimp is a "must". My CO workers love this place so I finally tried it today. Everything is made fresh. My order came out fast. There's a screen for placing your order if you don't want to wait in line. There wasn't a long line when I went in. I ordered the hippy wrap with sweet potato, a side of pesto pasta and a pineapple cream soda! It was delicious! This is now my new favorite place! “My fiancé and I held an engagement party in the upstairs portion of the restaurant. We had tasted wines and enjoyed happy hour at the restaurant before so we were aware of the caliber it provided.
We had an amazing experience with the owner Suzy, who went above and beyond. As well as the staff and chef that helped with the event. The food was incredible, the venue decorated perfectly, and the service was worth every penny!

“A funny thing happened on the way today FedEx drop-off. Kalaveras is convientley located off of Jamboree. For the street tacos Tuesday, you are seated and then order the number of $1.50 per Taco that you want. Then you line up to get your Tacos. You can choose from about 5 types of meat Tacos. Then, you can add vegetables and salsa types. There is a modern mexican restaurant vibe here. Have fun.“

“I really really wanted to give it five stars. I loved the vibe and most importantly how fresh the seafood was. The way the food was prepared shows that they take pride in doing their job. Our order had octopus and shrimp ceviche, which was full of juicy pieces of each generously served. We also asked if they served chips and guacamole, not on the menu but they happily and quickly made it and served with blue corn chips. For entree, my husband got Baja fish taco and I had spicy octopus and shrimp taco. The tacos were so well stuffed it was impossible to pick them up to eat. Our cup runneth over! LOL trust me, you don't need to order more than one taco. The portions are so generous, and the seafood is fresh and high quality. Service was friendly and speedy. Great people, great little business, I truly recommend everyone go support them. The only thing I take points off is the Baja fish taco was flavorless according to my husband. “I’m from SC. I wanted to surf fish while here and brought a rod/reel with me on the plane. I’m here for 5 days total. On day 1 I wanted to try a local doughnut. I saw they had gluten free. I don’t need it but my kids do. I bought some from a dude in a flannel shirt. I thought it weird, but it’s California so whatever. I got them back to the place we were staying and we all sampled about six different doughnuts. 🤯 OH MY GOODNESS!!!!! I’m a Krispy Kreme lifer but DANG THESE ARE GOOD. Today I went back and bought 6 more. These are expensive so there went my fishing budget but it’s worth it because my kids and enlaws loved it. My father enlaw said the maple bacon should be illegal it’s so good. Listen there are a lot of choices here but if you are going to try just 1 or several this should be your first stop and if like me it will be the only one you need. I’m not big on California, sorry, but the only thing better than the weather and scenery are these incredible doughnuts. 🤯“

Inside, we were seated in high-backed chairs by the window, allowing us to observe the trains arriving and departing. The service was outstanding, with the staff promptly attending to our needs. Maya helped me select the food for my vegan diet because their vegetarian options came with egg. I got kale & fruit salad with black rice and mango chrysanthemum tea. The food tasted really good but a few portions of their kale was not fresh enough.

I will try their drinks and dessert when I come again.
