So I was so excited to have been able to finally go today to celebrate @wakandinh 's birthday and do a date night. This was honestly some of the most prettiest and tastiest food I have had. These were some of my favorites tonight. They honestly were all so well thought out and meticulously prepared. I am so grateful to have experienced this Omakase service. The staff and Chef Gino were very attentive, friendly, and endearing. The ambiance was cozy and intimate. 10/10 will have to come back another time not just for the beautiful meal but Chef Gino himself. Thank you Chef for this wonderful meal! ??‍♀️“

There are only a couple of tables inside and out the restaurant and they will bring the food to your table if you are dining in. It is family owned and you often see Father, Mother, and Daughter working behind the counter. But every time I've eaten here, I've been very pleased with the food and service.“

If you go regularly, they'll remember your name.The have indoor seating (sushi bar and tables) and a small covered patio. They have fun hand-lettered signs with specials. Halibut carpaccio was one the specials tonight.If you go for lunch, they've got bento box specials that are tasty too.RECOMMEND

Parking: This is in in a large shopping plaza with a big parking lot. Parking is never a problem.

Kid-friendliness: They don't have a kids menu or specific option for kids. If your kid likes sushi or teriyaki or tempura, then your kid would do okay here.“

“Came here for the first time last night on a whim cause we didn't feel like cooking. We're vegetarian, so we asked them for options. They were able to make us avocado rolls and a vegetarian base for the ramen. The food was good, not too salty or heavy. The service was awesome and humorous.“

We were going to go to Sushi Dami, but the wait was so long and the atmosphere there was dark and loud. Sushi Bear greeted us with a bright and airy and delightful ambiance for a dinner with friends. “Got hungry midway between SD and LA and craved sushi. Existing pictures and decent price point were attractive, as well as easy directions. Popped in around 1p, less busy time and mainly 1 server who greeted & invited us to sit where desired. She took our order quickly and was attentive. Food took a bit longer to arrive than expected; however, four items arrived within minutes of each other (hand roll, chef's choice, lobster roll, and HFM roll) and tasted excellent.
Lunch menu has decent selection amount, and Additional menus are on table, showing rolls, sushi, Appetizers, and specials. The place could charge more for it's offerings, or one could order more to try more if it.
It's tame, atmospherically, and when waiting for food I looked up to see large, grayish construction paper-type covering that was fastened/stapled to the ceiling insulation. Unsure if that's temporary. Table had some slight stickiness (napkin got stuck a bit as I repositioned it), so could have used a better wipe down, but those are the only reasons for 4 star atmo.
I'd stop by here again when I'm in the area :)

The food is delicious, the service is kind and friendly and the atmosphere is delightful (we enjoy sitting outside). Reservations are recommended however we walked in at 5pm when they opened and they were happy to accommodate us. I personally enjoy the Marbella Roll and the Fried Jalapeño tapas.“

Parking: It is likely that parking will be hard to find and a little pricey during the summer months when the art festivals are open. You may want to try parking in a public lot and walking to the restaurant. Better yet, get a ride share into town and use the free shuttles to get around town.“

“I got the chicken bento box with green salad, potstickers, and salmon roll, and for 16$ it was amazing. Overall everything in the bento box tasted fresh, especially the sushi rolls! The bento box can definitely be enough food for 2 meal. Will be returning back, staff/owners are very nice.“

“Went here with my mom and friend for a quick dinner and ended up having such an amazing time!

We ordered the 2 combination with salmon teriyaki and sashimi (tuna and salmon) bento box and also the 3 combination beef teriyaki, salmon teriyaki, and crispy scallop bento box. It was delicious and the portions were great for the price point! It also came with ginger dressing salad, sunomono salad, miso soup, a scoop of rice, and two orange slices!

We also got spicy garlic edamame which was absolutely addicting to eat. It was so so good, coming from someone who rarely eats spice.

We also tasted the bluefin tuna sashimi with crispy kale chips and garlic—OMG, this was delectable. It was so fresh and paired surprisingly well with the kale chips and garlic.

The owner also came over and let us sample one of the new appetizers they’re planning to serve! It was called negi tofu and it was so light and yummy, perfect for any tofu lovers or any group who wants a light appetizer. It was essentially a cube of tofu with a yummy sauce on top served with fresh vegetables and red onion.

For dessert we got the strawberry and matcha macaron ice cream which was just the cherry on top. Pretty sweet for my liking, but if you’re a sweet tooth, you’ll love it.

TLDR: Get the bluefin tuna with crispy kale chips sashimi! Also their salmon teriyaki and spicy garlic edamame is a must-try. Will for sure be coming back soon! Also, the miffy bento box is not included, I made it haha.“
