“This Lilttle Italian store is the best!! Their torpedo sandwiches are a classic for years!. They have the best meatball and cheese sub around. Their cheese, deli and bread selection is excellent. “Fantastic meal at Felix! You really can’t go wrong with an Evan Funke restaurant. The pasta was perfectly made, and the flavors were spot on. That said, I do wish the menu felt a little more distinct from his other restaurants. It’s definitely in line with his signature style, so if you’ve been to his other spots, you’ll find a lot of overlap.

The quality and service are definitely there—the staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere is cozy but lively, with a great energy for date night or a special dinner with friends. Overall, Felix is absolutely worth a visit.“

This restaurant is so intentional—from its cozy neighborhood charm to the elevated, seasonal menu and the ambiance set by an amazing record player and vinyl collection. The staff went above and beyond, even sharing local stories that made us feel truly connected to the space. The food was absolutely delicious, and I really appreciated the thoughtful touch of nonalcoholic wine options. Highly recommend!“

“I didn’t choose this restaurant myself—a friend picked it because she’s pescatarian and the menu suited her dietary preferences. While I can appreciate that, I personally found the options a bit disappointing. I ended up ordering a salad, which unfortunately couldn’t be customized with any protein, and a small plate of olives.

That said, others at the table seemed to enjoy their dishes more, so it might just come down to personal taste. I will give credit where it’s due: the drinks were immaculate—definitely a highlight of the evening. The dessert, on the other hand, was just okay.

Overall, it wasn’t quite the experience I was hoping for, and I wouldn’t choose to return. However, if you take a look at the menu and it excites you, this could very well be a great spot for your palate. Just not mine.“

“I took my daughter and we had a really nice dinner. We started with the Caesar - it's not a creamy Caesar dressing, more like a vinaigrette. It was tasty. My daughter ordered the vodka pasta with chicken and she loved it. Just a little bit is spice and great flavor. I ordered a pepperoni pizza. It's not paper thin but it's not thick either. The pepperoni on it was delicious. It was a bit noisy because there were lots of kids as it is sort of a neighborhood spot. As it got later in the evening the kids left and it was quieter for sure. overall great food and service. Will go back.“

“Had a wonderful time trying this place for the first time today for my sisters birthday . One can taste that the ingredients were fresh and quality . The pasta dishes were Al dente and homemade 🥰 loved the Italian salad , fried crunchy chicken cutlets and the dessert (bread pudding) was so delicious ! Every server was delightful and it was kid friendly !. (But no changing station :( ). The portions are not as big ,however , the authenticity made up for it . Go try this place now !“

“I’m new to this not true to this lol. I never had Mortadella and it being pork scared me. I still ordered the La Paradiso (Mortadella, Stracciatella, Pistachio Cream, & Pistachio crumbles) bc WTH right? And I enjoyed it. It’s not like OMG but it feels really nice and comforting to eat. I’m glad I left it alone and didn’t substitute for Turkey! I would definitely buy again. The pistachio cream is very light but flavorful along with nuttiness and I never had such combination with a savory bread.

I know I’m going to be thinking about it for days. It leaves a nice after taste lol! It is $20 but it’s a big sandwich. I think it’s worth the price. Quality ingredients!“

“All of the food was incredible! However tables were insanely tight but maybe that was just on NYE. We had to literally get up out of chairs to let other people in and out of their tables. When we mentioned it to our server she said “what do you expect with 160 reservations”.. which was awkward. That said, she warmed up throughout the night and you could tell she was just insanely stressed. There was a gentleman who was incredibly helpful wizzing around and welcoming everyone. Overall we'll be back since the food was so good and hopefully we'll see it less sardines-packed“

“On vacation with friends, we decided to stop here to eat. Firstly, we appreciated the contact with the staff, who were adorable and attentive to us from the first seconds. We ordered two spaghetti carbonara (special) and it was delicious!!!! At the end of the meal, the manager took the time to chat lightly with us. This restaurant is flawless. Pizza has a wonderful crust, and toppings were balanced. Pasta had a really rich sauce with the wonderful braised short ribs.

“The foods are amazing … i had the salmon creamy pasta and i liked it so much, the salmon with cherry tomatoes are very refreshing , porcini and mushroom are the new favorites , but the black truffle was the most unforgettable one , once you taste it, it seems you are watching a classic italian movie. The employees are friendly and very accomodating. The atmosphere itself makes you feel like home.“

“Small authentic Italian place in the heart of Santa Monica. Service was fast and staff was kind. The quality and flavor were on point. We had the spaghetti and penne bolognese with bruschetta and meatballs. Served us half a loaf of fresh bread with the meal. All very good! Good food for a good price.“

“What a fantastic discovery. I was craving calzones and used to have a spot in Los Feliz which I would go out of my way for. After trying a few places which fell short of the mark in South Bay, I almost gave up on finding authentic Italian food locally. The search was worth it as this is now going to be one of my forever places to come on a regular basis. From the calzone, to the pizza, salads and even the Cannoli Siciliani Pistacchio, everything has been nothing short of amazing.
