“Freshest restaurant quality sashimi and sushi at a reasonable price in the U.S. Their sashimi is top notch. Highly recommend the Hamachi/yellowtail toro (so underrated), the scallops, and the squid/ika, but honestly any of the options won’t disappoint. Also a big fan of their tamago and their Takuan roll (which has fresh perilla leaves inside)!

“Ummm… Yum!! Who doesn't love seafood!? Well, I actually know a lot of people who don't like seafood, but I encourage those to try ConiSeafood because it has so much flavor that it doesn't taste or seem like you're eating seafood.

ConiSeafood is serving up Acaponeta, Nayarit-style seafood. Located in a small building in Inglewood, there offing a big menu full of goodness. From ceviche, fish dishes, shrimp dishes, soups and a few extras, you'll find something for your taste buds.

They offer indoor seating and outdoor seating. The space is very cozy. It was busy when we arrived, and had to wait just 10mins. The hostess greeted us when we walked in and once seated, our waiter was very attentive.

We got aguachiles and a shrimp plate. The aguachiles was good, but spicy. Just to warn you! The shrimp plate was delicious!“

“Amazing food! I haven’t had a good meal like that in a while! I recently checked out some of the well rated restaurants in LA, such as RVR and I have to say this is hands down superior. The food, the vibe, and the server was also very attentive and friendly. The portions are very small and I felt like for the price, they could be a little larger.

“This was formerly a M- star restaurant and it is no suprise why based on the food. The ambiance isn't anything to write home about and some of the seat cushions were ripped up. The server's explained the food really well and food came fast. Would definitely recommend this for a seafood lover and for someone who enjoys spicy food. I had a few dishes that I had never heard of like a drink made with condensed milk, coconut water and something else...it was good. The green sauce they serve with the chips is VERY spicy. Would definitely go again and try some different things.“

“Best filet medallions, scallops, crab fried rice, and banana’s foster cake we’ve ever had! My husband is a steak connoisseur, rather picky, and he loved the filet. The béarnaise sauce was incredible! Nathan, our server was excellent and we thank him. We ate on the patio and it was a lovely evening. We didn’t drink alcohol and we were still treated like valued guests.“

“I don't heap praise without good reason. Tar & Roses was amazing literally on every level. The food, ambiance, service, attention to detail, and value were all excellent. “I had a breakfast burrito and horchata based on the recommendations of the host. Excellent choice! I thought this was a mom and pop place, but it turns out they have at least six locations in the Southern California area. Go to their website and check it out. “I came across Playa Provisions when in town for business. It was a short Uber from the airport, so I figured I'd give it a try. This place is an absolute gem! It is a unique setup that has everything you'd possibly need from morning until late at night: Cafe in the front for coffee and fresh baked good, as well as full breakfast menu. Later in the heat of the afternoon, take a break from the beach (right across the street) and enjoy hand scooped specialty ice cream cones and shakes. Oh look, it's dinner time... and Playa Provisions opens their dining room and bar, some of the best, most relaxed ambience you'll find for miles around. But don't let the casual setting fool you, this is some incredible, elevated cuisine. Chef owners Nick and Brooke (who you might recognize) crafted a menu that's I've been eating my way through, and have yet to find a dish that's not delicious. You've been eating and drinking all day, and are exhausted? Don't leave yet! Wander into the back 'secret' whiskey bar, (Grain Whiskey Bar) and enjoy hand crafted cocktails from award winning bartenders (no, literally), in a gorgeous wood laden atmosphere. I consider myself a foodie, and try as many different restaurants and cuisines as I can. The food is really delicious
Cocktails are also delicious.
There is some cilantro in the pasta, but even I, who can't eat cilantro, can eat it comfortably, but if you don't like it so much, you will have to ask for it to be left out.
But when I went, there was a karaoke stage going on, so the atmosphere felt like a place where old men sing.
I think it would have been really nice if there were jazz or country songs.
I recommend it because I think the food will suit Korean tastes well.“

Don't expect a Michelin-starred experience, but you'll get some pretty darn good food for the price of 1.5 - 2.4 Big Macs. I enjoy the fried fish taco plate with stewed chickpeas and garden salad, but pretty much all of the menu items are quite decent. Give it a try!“

“I will like to give a shout out to the chef. I think his name is Shawn or Sean. When we got to Santa Monica, we looked up restaurants to go have our 26 year anniversary dinner, we stayed at Hotel Delmar right across the street. We googled the restaurant menu, and decided what we were going to have. when we got there, and they brought out the menus, all what we decided to have was not on there. I was crushed. Because I had my mind set on the Halibut. I said it's ok I will just have the Ribeye, mind you I had a ribeye steak the night before. When the waiter came back, my wife asked if it's possible to get the Halibut and he said let me check with the chef. He came back later and said the chef said it's no problem. I was blown away. That was the best Halibut ( besides mine) that I have ever had. Thank you chef Shawn. From one chef to another, thank you. you made my night.“

“My friend and I had lunch on Tuesday. We arrived there around noon, and there was no line yet! There is a large parking lot in front of the restaurant. If it’s full, there is additional parking underground. As soon as we placed our order and found a table for two, there was a line of people. The fish (grilled) was good!! Not dry at all!! I loved that there were so many hot sauces to choose from. I also enjoyed the roasted yellow peppers…!! they were meaty and not spicy. Since I ordered a combo, I picked their hibiscus tea, which was tart and sweet, just the way I like it! I will definitely go back to try other items.“
