“I hadn't had KFC for a couple of years and was craving it. We lost our local KFC so one day when I was out running errands I decided to drive over to this one in lemon grove. The parking lot was so full! It's in a shopping center and I had a little difficulty spotting up because the GPS was sending me the wrong direction. Boy of the prices gone up since I last ate but then they've gone up everywhere. I got the two-piece special which was more than enough food. Lake, thigh, mashed potatoes, no coleslaw anymore on this one. 5.99 so it's still a cheap meal comparatively. The chicken was cooked through and had great flavor so even though I know it's cooked in an unhealthy way it was still a delicious meal. Guilty pleasure you might say. The girl behind the counter was very nice and the place looks pretty clean.“

“I’m just going to say it: the Sweet Country Blues Sandwich at Rise Southern Biscuits in El Cajon is the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had.

A sweet blueberry biscuit, savory sausage, American cheese and a fried egg. That combination sounds simple, but it is ridiculously good. The blueberry biscuit is sweet, buttery and soft, and that sweetness against the salty sausage, melted cheese and fried egg is absolutely perfect.

This is one of those rare things you order that halfway through eating it, you’re already thinking about when you can come back and get another one.

My advice? Skip everything else on the menu and get this. Don’t overthink it. Get the Sweet Country Blues Sandwich and you’ll thank me later.“

I get that a lot are disgusting and don't know how to clean after themselves, but as a restaurant, they should consider cleaning the dinning area. Hope this doesn't come off in a wrong way, but that's an important part in my opinion.“

“Visiting family from the East Coast and my daughter took me here today. I was stationed in Daegu South Korea for 2 years while in the Army. we used to get bb.q chicken almost every weekend. The kids loved it and so did I. This was my first time having it in 8 years and it immediately brought me back to being in Daegu. The food was amazing and brought us right back to being there. I stop by this location almost every day, and I'm usually in a hurry. Brenda is always friendly, professional, and efficient. She consistently gets my order right, and her positive attitude makes every visit a pleasant experience.

Employees like Brenda are becoming harder to find. She clearly takes pride in her work and genuinely cares about providing great customer service. She is a tremendous asset to your restaurant, and I wanted to make sure her hard work and dedication were recognized.“

“Husband found Melt on Instagram and wanted to try it. So we took the tram from Old Town just to eat early dinner there. Very good. I got the basic grilled cheese (forgot the exact name) and my husband had the Mac Daddy. We were both incredibly happy about our choices. Tried a piece of Mac and cheese from my husband's sandwich and it was incredible. Kinda wanted a whole bowl of just the Mac and cheese. Would definitely eat here again.“

“My husband who has celiac disease loved it!! The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. This is the best fried chicken we’ve had since my husband was diagnosed. Unfortunately the sauces aren’t gf so we didn’t try those. The restaurant was very clean and the service was excellent. We will definitely be back!“

“Ko Kai has been such a blessing to have in San Diego! It is so hard to find restaurants with this type of food made this style! There are other variations of Hainan chicken but nothing close to this one. We have tried it all in San Diego and this one just hits home. It has a mix of Malay/Singapore and Chinese feel but from a Thai family! I was able to chat with the owners and they are super nice! Their descendants are from China but their family migrated to Thailand. This recipe has been past down generations and still operating till this day in the South of Thailand! This is a must try! You won’t regret it! I always have to keep an eye out for their announcements where they’ll be during the week!
You won’t be disappointed!“

“There was a long line and Evan was the only one in register, there were more people in the back and they were doing nothing but staring and laughing at him. There was a white, short girl with glasses that was literally just standing there and not getting in register to help. The food was great and despite being in a rush, he was great to us. When we got our food in our table I tried giving the short, white girl with glasses our tray because I didn’t need it and she tried telling me to keep it or to put it away myself instead of just doing her job.
