“Didn't fail to meet our expectations. We had a table of 4 and we were good to go in just about 30 minutes. The noodles and meat were so good and the staff were very attentive. Our server, Evelyn refilled water and broth as well as bringing us our food. As a fellow food enjoyer I would definitely have to put this hotpot place up there it was so good. “As we walked in there was no hostess and all the bartenders saw us but turned the other way. We waited but it looked completely empty so we were a bit confused whether or not they were open. They could have said, "welcome, someone will be with you shortly".My friend had to walk up and ask if we find a spot or wait for someone. They said we need to wait for a hostess (not friendly at all). The hostess was nice and so was our waiter, THANKFULLY. I gave 4 stars for the lack of welcoming and because I felt like it was hard to pick something I thought would be good. Food was average, nothing too exciting from what we ordered.“

“The stars aligned. We were overjoyed to find a BOB vegan restaurant, inspired by grandcestor Dr. Sebi's alkaline nutritional guide. Highly recommend Beyond Vegan - Culver City. The food was flavorful. My friend ordered the namesake quesadillas, and I ordered the jackfruit tacos with mango salsa. Double the flavor - we shared our meals. Yum! The portions were large, filling, and pleased my soul. What I thought to be a side of mashed sweet potatoes was warm, smooth mashed beans. Tacos and quesadillas on point. Purple wild rice was a delightful surprise. Diversity in texture, flavor, colors, and quality ingredients. No better way to catch up with a friend than eating outdoors at Beyond Vegan!“

“This place is SOOOO good! Everything is so full of flavor, and you can tell it's made with love. The carnitas tacos are phenomenal. Savory, citrusy, with just the right kick, they are so delicious. But honestly, everything is so good.. The nachos are fried fresh with fresh tortillas made in the morning, the guacamole is hand-made and thick with just the right seasoning, and all of the proteins are perfectly marinated and made with care. And the staff and owners are the coolest people. Friendly, down-to-earth, and they all put their heart and soul into this place. We'll definitely be back!“

“Juat visited this place and ordered 4 rolls for two of us thinking they would be normal size. But instead, each one was a meal for an average person. They were also delicious! Very impressed and will definitely return. Street parking only, and not the cleanest neighborhood but well worth it.“

“Had a great meal here before a show at the Paramount. My husband had fajitas and I had the potato dish with added rosemary potatoes 🤩. I couldn’t finish mine - very filling but absolutely delicious. The proprietor is welcoming and helpful. We will definitely return and I will make more sensible choices!“

“Quaint, friendly service, amazing French-style pastries, and delicious food. I’ve been here several times over the years. You order at the counter (where you can see all the delicious pastries!) and you are given a number to place on your table for your food to be brought to you. There really are so many choices (see the photos of the bakery case) but I neglected to take a photo of the drink menu. Today, I had the feta omelette and chocolate croissant. Gorgeous presentation and perfect taste and texture! Chaumont Vegan is a find! Don’t just go if you happen to be in the area; make it a destination. Some complain that it is not REALLY a vegan establishment because it is attached to its non-vegan counterpart. To me, this is a plus. The original non-vegan place used to offer some vegan options. But it seems demand was so great, they expanded to offer a fully vegan space with many more options! (I think this happened in 2021.). So, rather than put them down, I choose to celebrate them. Thank you Chaumont for first offering some vegan choices and then bringing us even more with a dedicated space next door. Updated from previous review on 2025-11-23“

“This was a delightful, casual dining experience. The space is adequate, but I imagine it's packed during busy hours. Early brunch is a great idea. The service was friendly, the vibes were immaculate, and brunch was actually so much more than I expected!!! I read the reviews, but nothing prepared me for how delicious everything was!! Do whatever it takes to get those special pancakes. And if you like bread pudding, you'll LOVE their bread pudding bites!!“
