I went with a group of six, and we ordered a variety of dishes to share, giving me the chance to sample several entrees. My top picks were the ceviche marinero, langostinos, camarones a la diabla, and the tacos gobernador. The only area that could use some improvement was the service. Our waiter only checked in when we placed our order and when the food was delivered. We had to get up to request napkins and order additional drinks.“

I thought this was a mom and pop place, but it turns out they have at least six locations in the Southern California area. Go to their website and check it out. “Blue SALT is absolutely best seafood in L.A. Not only do you get a generous portion of grilled fish or shrimp, but you get a choice of two sides and the price is super reasonable (hopefully they’ll keep it that way). Two of us paid $30 for a lot of great seafood. Two locations both amazing!!“

“My friend and I had lunch on Tuesday. We arrived there around noon, and there was no line yet! There is a large parking lot in front of the restaurant. If it’s full, there is additional parking underground. As soon as we placed our order and found a table for two, there was a line of people. The fish (grilled) was good!! Not dry at all!! I loved that there were so many hot sauces to choose from. I also enjoyed the roasted yellow peppers…!! they were meaty and not spicy. Since I ordered a combo, I picked their hibiscus tea, which was tart and sweet, just the way I like it! I will definitely go back to try other items.“

“First time here and i will say they give the HEALTHIEST fillet portions I’ve seen in a looong time! BUT if you don’t order jumbo shrimp you’ll be pissed off. The regular shrimp are so tiny.

Overall everything was seasoned well. Fried to perfection and my catfish was so juicy. I didn’t care for the fries but that’s just me I’m not a fry person.

Hush puppies were good. Bread nice and soft! And the tartar sauce is definitely home made.

Don’t forget to ask for extra hot sauce (THEY WILL ONLY GIVE YOU 1) and if you hate pickles (like me) don’t forget to tell them you don’t want them.

4 stars is for the small shrimp, pickles, and the 1 piece of a piece of a PIECE of lemon they gave me lol

“It was such a lovely venture out for my Mom’s birthday, on Friday. Alex and Dominique (management) are quite lovely, and helped make our dining experience all the more, a joy! Love the new additions to the menu, particularly the Mini Steak French Dips. The Chicken Parmesan was excellent with the twist of those ‘pepper-like sweet’ tomatoes. “Super good! Prices were good. Portions were big. Flavors were on point. You could tell, from the texture of it, the raw shrimp was really fresh.

Thought it was really creative that one of the salsas was chilli oil. Paired well with the ceviche and chips. Would of never thought of that. Really cool.

The seasoning needs more spices, but the light coating was okay.The fried oysters were tasty, and the shrimp hit the spot. The sauces need to have more zing and tang to it. The fries had less salt but were not crispy enough. They have lots of fish to choose from. They also have chicken menu.Overall, this was a good place to order seafood and take out dinner. They don't have tables inside, so you have to eat in the car or take it home.“

only reason i docked a star for food was that the guac wasn’t as good as everything else. but i inhaled the chips it came with. i heard another table say they’re made in house. perfect chip. got a shrimp and fish tacos shrimp was great but that was one of the best fish tacos ive ever had AND they have a taco tuesday special? 🥳

have to say for the record that their Caipirinha was better than the one i had on vacation in south america.
