“One of my late night places to get my boba from. The staff are always friendly and even when they've screwed up, they apologize and are genuine about it and they happily remake my drinks with a smile.

I also love the prices 👍🏽 and the place always have plenty of parking outfront.

The order kisok is so convenient or you can place your order online on their website for pick up but after 10pm, you can't unless you have it doordashed!“

“Their leaf quality is next level. I love the tie guan yin oolong. The boba quality is solid. Staff are friendly. Their matcha latte leaves a lot to be desired. It has an artificially too sweet honey flavor. Can't taste the matcha. It is barely green. Boba bliss has better matcha (Izumi Matcha even better though).“

“We stopped by on a busy Saturday evening and ordered the coconut breeze and the mango mochi coconut pudding. I like how both items taste fresh and not too sweet. The mango is ripe and sweet. The drink had a lot of textures and is well balanced.“

“This boba shop is so very cute! I ordered black milk tea with taro and boba. They use real taro which was so creamy and tasty. One thing to note is that 30% sugar is less sweet than other shops, so it was only a faint sweetness as the boba was unsweetened. We got surprise cups which were around $10 each with the drink ($3.5-4.5 extra, depending on the drink). The plush keychains inside were cute and quite large, but not my favorite. It was a lot of fun opening them though!“

I am a frequent visitor and the person who takes orders generally remembers to ask if I want decaf if I forget to order it at night. I particularly enjoy the honey milk tea, the Thai tea, the taro milk tea, and the sesame milk tea. The black pearl milk tea is a good value if you want boba and don't have a particular flavor in mind as the price includes boba.

- This place remains consistent and a good value for the area. It is particularly cost effective to split a large between 2 people. I feel the amount of boba they give is generous, especially in the large.
- This place has fried snacks available.
- Their seating area and restroom is open again after closure during COVID.
- They have no changing table.“

“The matcha here is absolutely delicious. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients in their drinks, and I like how you can add extra shots of matcha if you prefer your drinks stronger. I really enjoyed the Banana Pudding Matcha Einspanner because the topping was delicious but didn't make the drink too sweet.

The seating area is small (around 3 tables) so this is a better place to get drinks to go rather than to sit at and hang out. Unfortunately there was no trash can inside the shop, so all the tables when we went were quite dirty as previous customers left their trash on the table. Not a huge problem, but definitely something to keep in mind if you plan on sitting in the shop.

Overall, this is one of the best matcha drinks I've had in the Bay Area, and I definitely will be coming back!“

“Boba Bliss is my go to milk tea shop since is walking distance from work. The place is clean, modern and with plenty of in door and outdoor seating. Service is fast and friendly. Let me tell you, I was in for a surprise and I didn't even know it.
Upon entering I was greeted by a comfortable and clean atmosphere and good music. To my surprise, just behind the glass on the counter was a worker actively making the fresh boba pearls!
Ordering the drinks went nicely and they had a very good selection of teas and flavors.
I opted for the simple and classic Brown Sugar Boba w/Fresh Milk, and it was one of cleanest, smoothest boba drinks I've ever had.
The owner was on site and she was very kind and generous by answering any questions and letting us sample her freshly made boba. She showed such passion for her craft and the business and it shows in the quality of the product provided.
The fresh boba she let me sample was absolutely delightful and had a flavor unlike any of the typical tapioca boba pearls you would find at your average boba shop.

Definitely suggest coming to Mr. Sun Tea and trying out their boba. A simple review can't begin to show the difference in taste and quality.

They have six locations in total and I will be visiting them regularly from now on. Officially my go-to boba spot.“

As a huge coconut fan, I felt like the addition of flavors like strawberry or vanilla made it taste a bit too western for my liking, taking away from the authentic coconut flavor I enjoy. While the concept is creative, the execution didn’t quite hit the mark for me.

Pricing: The pricing definitely felt a bit high for what you get. While the desserts are decent, I don’t think they justify the cost, especially considering the size and flavor profile of the dishes.

“You never go wrong with Happy Lemon for boba. The location is in the heart of Redwood city. The parking is a bit hard, then you walk to the strip mall to get to the shop. The staff was friendly. “popped in here on a quiet Tuesday evening. it's a place I've wanted to try for a long time (given the name reminds me of Mass Effect). I got the strawberry matcha with boba, oat milk and 25% sweetness (I generally go lower). it was honestly some of the best I've had! very smooth. great flavor and the 25% was in fact ever so lightly sweetened. Their Black Milk Tea w/ boba was surprisingly solid for a place that doesn't appear to focus on milk tea boba. Their pandan mochi-waffle was not bad - had a hint of sweetness and pandan flavor. “I ordered three things - a oolong-peach tea, brown milk boba tea, and brown milk with boba (not tea). Of these three, two orders were wrong.

They forgot to put boba in the brown milk w/boba. This was not as bad as what they did with the oolong peach tea.

First they said they do not have oolong-peach tea, so they will make green-peach, to which I agreed. When they gave it to me they told me by mistake that it was Jasmine, while the order slip said green. When I mentioned that, they lied and said it was green tea. When I tasted it it was jasmine.

“HiroNori has a really good vegan ramen with corn, tofu, soy crumbles, lettuce, and two broiled broccolini stalks. You can order either thick or thin noodles, but the difference between them isn’t huge. They also offer a red pepper and garlic sauce option on the side if you want it spicy (the default is not spicy at all). Overall it’s really good: comes out hot and a bit portion. Noodles are cooked well. They also have vegan gyoza, which is not common, and a nice side for the table. The dipping sauce for it is lemony and a bit strange. There’s also edamame available as an appetizer. And the yuzu-ade drink is pretty good. The food comes out pretty fast, but depending on when you go, service can be a little slow. They seem to only run with one person on the wait staff, handling hostess and delivery service prep duties too. It’s also just one big room, with a divider towards the center that blocks most of the view of the kitchen. Not the best ambiance, but perfectly fine for a quick bite. Parking is not great here as the shopping center is really popular.“

I ALWAYS get this drink- Strawberry lemonade, normal sweetness, no/less ice, 2x lychee jelly, 1x mango jelly. It’s always so good every time! The tofu cubes are not good but I don’t like tofu in general so that’s just me. It doesn’t take too long- but really depends on how busy it is. The staff is nice but doesn’t talk much. The atmosphere is nice too! I love the vibes of this place. I don’t get tapioca boba but the lychee and mango jelly is so good, especially if you love jello or stuff like that. It’s chewy but not too chewy, and very sweet. I recommend if you like fruity/sweet drinks.“
