“Their pizza is delicious!!!Their GF options are fantastic! They use separate utensils so no cross contamination. They even had GF brownie that was the best! Only one of the three pizzas we ordered was GF. All eight of us loved the pizza!*side not: a non-GF family member tried a slice of GF pizza and couldn’t tell the difference. They loved it! Win-win“

“This is a 5+++, as you would be hard-pressed to find a more creative, flavorful and truly life-changing pasta meal than at Cento. The Spicy Pomodoro Pasta may be the singularly most delicious pasta dish on earth. The lamb meatballs… to die for. The grilled octopus, OMG. Pasta will never be the same for you. The beet spaghetti? Just ask Luca… it becomes part of you. Highly recommended.“

“Located just a 15-minute walk from the Ahmanson Theatre, Maccheroni Republic is a wonderful find. The outdoor seating area is inviting, and the service is top-notch. We enjoyed the Burrata appetizer and indulged in two pasta dishes: Bianchi Neri and Pom'Amore, both of which were absolutely delicious. A perfect pre-show dining spot with great ambiance and even better food.“

“My daughter recommended this place so we gave it a try. There was only a handful of people there… it was a Tuesday. We sat in the outdoor area. We ordered two different veggie pizzas and bread sticks (kinda pricey). There wasn’t much to choose from on the menu. The food was more like an appetizer size serving but It was delicious. I have nothing negative to say about the taste of the food or the atmosphere.However, the parking was insane. We parked directly at the curb next to the entrance of the outdoor eating area. It’s metered parking. We had to add coins every 15 minutes… it only allowed 15 minutes before it capped out ?. I’ve read others say it was an hour meter, well it wasn’t the day we visited. I set a timer on my phone (a ticket would have ruined my day).It was a nice restaurant. I experienced it once but I’m sure I won’t come again.“

“Do you want the best Italian sandwich in LA? Well guess what?! You have found it. You will not be disappointed. There is literally no way to feel sad while eating one of these sandwiches. I put Sandwich Day into my calendar and look forward to it like I'm going on vacation. This is also the greatest cross section of Angelenos in one space. The dorky, the svelte, blue collar, white collar, guys in suits who are definitely committing some sort of financial fraud and the police who will someday arrest them. It's a family owned business with kind, hardworking folks behind the counter. Go. Eat. And have the best day ever!“

“great $125 japanese italian tasting menu that only advertises 5 courses, but we also got 4 chef "gifts"! dishes were seafood forward and had a fresh, creamy, & bright flavor profile - standouts of the night were scallops w yuzu cream & soft shell crab salad only downside is that even though i eat slow, the dishes were CRAWLING out.. think we waited 20min between some dishes but fantastic night :)“

“Are you willing to work for your food? Are you willing to wait in a long line? If the answer is yes then please take the time to try Apollonia's. Their hours are strange and they are cash only in the restaurant but it's worth it.This is best thin slice pizza I have had in California. They also have incredible Detroit style slices. The pepperoni vodka slice is a must try.Very little parking.Parking: Very little parking. Small lot that is always full.“

“Amazing food, the buratta caprese was excellent. Showed up 45 minutes before my reservation and they got me a table within 10 minutes. Wine and desserts were top notch. Seafood pasta on point. It was a busy dinner rush so there were some longer than usual waits to getting refills, more bread, getting the check. But overall the atmosphere and food make it a must visit.“

“A very pretty friend and I decided to try Bestia on a Thursday at 5pm. After arriving and entering an outdoor patio that leads into the indoor seating, we couldn't help notice the bright blue wall, nicely trimmed tree, outdoor string lights all coming together to make a quiet eating experience but my pretty woman friend wanted us to experience the inside. Inside was livelier, more people, closely positioned tables,and an open kitchen facing the eating area. Cool modern music that's not too loud. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. We ordered the coconut red chili oil scallops garnished with herbs and a slice of strawberry. I was pleased with the combination of flavors. Then we shared the bone marrow pasta, which was packed with savory flavors and interesting soft textures. It was delicious. Of course, we had to try the herb ceasar salad everyone raves about when talking about Bestia, and the hype is all true. We then shared a marguarita pizza and let me say this, despite the overly salted tomato sauce, the napolitano style crust elevated the rest of the pizza ingredients. I had old sunglasses: a tequila blanco cocktail with sweet citrus flavors all well balanced, I couldn't just have 1. My pretty friend had unsweetened ice tea, which was refreshing with a subtle fruit flavor. For dessert, we shared the chocolate dessert with a crispy sweet and salty crust that complimented the rich thick chocolate mouse that was just the right amount of sweet. It's the kind of place you take an attractive friend you really, really like. Recommend you plan at least a couple of weeks ahead to get a table because this place has a big following.“

“An authentic Italian pasta place which lives up to the hype. We came after hearing about it from the Worth it series, and was excited to try some of their featured dishes. They broke down their menu and explained how they prepared their pastas. The prices have definitely gone to the pricier side, but I would say it’s worth the quality and portion size. I would definitely recommend trying the salmon and cream dish. Very limited seating, but if you’re lucky enough to get a seat they’ll give you some great bread as well. We loved it, and it’s definitely worth a try.“

“The welcoming was excellent by the manager and the flexibility to change from outdoor to indoor seating. The food was great. The steak was perfectly cooked and the octopus was tender and savory. “Nice place, although music and people talking was a little high, making it hard to have a good conversation, I struggled to understand what the waiter was saying; but we still got a really good service from everyone there: starting with the security guard and servers. More importantly, the food was great (maybe not the chipotle chicken wings) but the other plates we got were definitely worth the trip.“

“I would give this tiny restaurant a 4.75 out of 5 to be honest.I had the fajitas with mixed meats of chicken, asada and shrimp, it was cooked perfectly. The rice was good, though I thought it was a little bland.The only thing I didn’t care for were the refried beans. They were watery and lacked flavor, but the rest of my food was great! The staff were so nice and so friendly it made up for the beans.If I were to visit again I would definitely try the cocktails, they looked delicious!It is a very small restaurant from the outside, if you’re not paying attention you could miss it. Once inside it’s a good size and beautiful space. Very clean too.“

“In the summer of 1975, I was only 14, and already a "Busboy extraordinaire"! My family had just moved from East Los Angeles to Monterey Park, and I started working at the best Italian restaurant on the planet, 'Agostino's'. At first, I thought all the beautiful girls were coming in to see me clear dirty dishes off of dirty tables. I later learned it had something to do with the food. And something to do with the restaurants' proximity to Mark Keppel High School. On top of all that. it was Great pizza at an affordable price. I stayed there charming the clientele for about three years. I met members of the M.P. Police, council members, Mayors, and others. I saw my classmates come in with their families, on dates, and in the banquet room after every major school dance. It was a place where you could go have pizza with friends, and not be embarrassed to run into your parents having a nice dinner. It was the hub of all social life in the San Gabriel Valley. I left the restaurant for college in 1978. In 1980, Agostino ("Gus") and Alicia sold the restaurant and went back to Sicily. I hadn't seen them in almost 50 years. A half century! Well, my fellow Monterey Parklandians (is that even a word?), this past weekend my wife says to me: "Remember your wish to step into 1975 and smell the food at Agostino's again"? She then drove me to this small Italian restaurant in the community of Paramount. Inside ..... were Gus & Alicia. The original owners who gave me my first real job so many years ago. The food was as good OR better than I remembered. Just as fresh too. My wife and I split an antipasto salad, a lasagna, and a pizza. Alicia came over to sit with us, we traded hugs & stories. Alicia is as warm and delightful as I remembered her. We didn't spend too much time with Gus, he was busy. Although I believe Gus is still jealous, because Alicia thinks I'm too handsome. It's a mystery. If you lived in the MP/Alhambra area for any amount of time, you surely enjoyed the authentic Sicilian food from Agostino's. And you'll truly enjoy Gus & Alicia's "Cafe Corleone". “I woke up craving Spaghetti and Meatballs..and found this place.. Ordered a full pastrami sandwich and spaghetti and meatballs..Upon arrival, i realized that I have been in this place before, about 25 years ago or so.The spaghetti and meatballs was phenomenal, with 3 meatballs, and sauce to spaghetti ratio on point.Pastrami sandwich had the perfect moisture and flavor, just the right amount of mustard, would have like a bit more pickles but still a great sandwich.I hate that I didn't get the names of those who attended to me, but 100% great customer service.Safe to say. This is going to be a must go to for me at least once a month..“

“The food at Brera makes your taste buds sing! I know it's corny, but it's true. Their green salad has this light dressing that is so refreshing. The prosciutto pizza was to die for. My boyfriend had the Papatelle and I had the Nettle Pasta with walnut. We walked out full with smiles in our face. To say the food was amazing is an understatement. It was outstanding!! Oh, and the drinks are strong and good!“

“Delicious, authentic home style Italian food at its finest. the pasta is al dente the sauce is flavorful and simple tomato sauce and just everything is made so well. literally everything is good on the menu. must get that for tender calamari. lasagna, taglietelle and most importantly the famous cioppino will. ot disappoint. probably the best I've ever had. be patient because it takes about 30-40 mins to come out made to order. or pre order before getting to your reservations. “Was craving for a good italian sub and found this hidden gem near my work! Located across from the hospital. Parking was easy; street and parking lot behind the restaurant. Inside was filled with Italian goodies. They sold alcohol, cookies, bread, pasta, cheese, etc. Towards the back of the restaurant was tables to sit down and enjoy your sandwich. Came here for the 1st time with my coworker and we tried the Classic 6' sub with 2 sides. I got the macaroni salad and broccoli salad. The sides tasted ok to me but could be better. However, the sandwich was very tasty. I love how much meat and filling it was. I ate it all! We got a piece of tiramisu and that was very very good! The prices are affordable and the portions are huge. Definitely a place to go for lunch or anytime you are carving for a good Italian sandwich! *TIP: call to place your order if you are in a time crunch. We waited for 30 minutes for our food.“

“This restaurant is tucked away from the busy part of Little Tokyo. We walked in at 6:30pm on a Thursday and were seated immediately. We came here for the famous uni pasta and mentai japanese cream pasta. Both were creamy, rich, and filled with umami. The mentai japanese cream one was slightly more fishy than the uni one. Can we talk about the portion sizes? Each plate of pasta was huge! Great value for the price.All pastas come with complementary sad and bread. Save some of the bread to soak up all the pasta sauce!“
“On Friday 08 Mar, Bryan greeted me and my family with open arms and with a big Kool-Aid smile. ?Bryan was very informative of all the wines (Sweet n Dry), he pointed out a sweet wine from Portugal, of which they were promoting at the front entrance. My family and I were pleased with his recommendation because the following day at our baby shower everyone loved it.Bryan congratulated me and my family of our beautiful blessing, because my pregnant fiancé was with me that day.That morning we picked up my fiancé sister from LAX and we decided to stop by for breakfast. And it was a pleasant experience because the breakfast staff greeted us with a smile… a special shout out to Martín! Because he made sure we had everything at our table in a timely manner, and most importantly checked up on us throughout our meal.Funny thing is, when we arrived I really didn’t pay attention to his name tag until after we ate, and we started gathering bottles for the baby shower.It was then I realize… That’s the name my fiancé and I agreed to name our son… Bryan.Once I told Bryan he was very happy for us and bagged our bottles to go.Oh by the way, the breakfast was delicious, we order steak and eggs, French, toast, and eggs, and chicken strips and fries for the kids.“

“I just want to say, who charges for convenience fee o_0 I was shocked to see this.To be honest I felt rushed to eat my salad. I was asked about twice if I was done. I mean if you see me eating I guess I'm not done. So I just dumped the salad bowl into my plate so she can remove the bowl ? ? ?Love this place but please don't rush me when I'm eating. I'm not on my 30 minute lunch break.The host (gentleman) was great very attentive. We spilled water and my boyfriend tried to clean the table and seat. However we missed the ice on the floor but the gentleman was so nice about it. ?I watched how rapidly he worked the floor, amazing ? from seating guests to cleaning tables and even offered to box my leftovers ?Parking: Limited parking spots.“

“Upon seeing the monstrous wood fired oven, you know you are in for a serious pizza. We had proscuito and calebrese on one pizza we ordered. Tremendous. Beautiful color, chew and char on a crust that proofs for 36 hours. Thin enough to fold, but sturdy enough to hold up the toppings. So much flavor comes through from the fire and smoke of the oven. You can tell the dude man who was running the front of the house has serious love for the place. Very sincere, very authentic. This is not a whatever pizza joint. Its one of those restaraunts that is more than the sum of its parts. This place has vision and heart and you see it, feel it and taste it.“

“Mama Says Italian restaurant, conveniently located in the Rolling Hills plaza next to Whole Foods, proved to be a delightful discovery. The review praises the excellent food made to order at a reasonable price. The mixed seafood pasta ordered to-go was perfectly seasoned, with noodles cooked to the ideal texture, not overdone. The addition of the carrot soup, with its enjoyable blend of seasoning and just the right amount of cream, complemented the meal nicely. Definitely, be back to try other pasta dishes.“

“I visited the restaurant at 3 PM on a weekday and found it half-full, which allowed me to freely choose a seat. The weather was nice, so I opted for an outdoor table. I ordered the sea urchin pasta and salmon pizza. The sea urchin was of high quality, and I felt that they used premium ingredients. The sea urchin pasta was particularly exquisite. While I have had soy sauce-based sea urchin pasta at other Japanese restaurants, which was delicious in its own right, this dish was elegantly flavored with parsley, offering a very special taste experience. I parked on the street nearby.“

“Sitting at the restaurant right now. I drive and thought I'd just try it out! This is a total hidden gem!!! I got the spaghetti seafood! Amazing!! It's nice and spicy!! I totally recommend this. If you are in the area... stop by! It's a bit pricey, but if you are looking at sporting yourself out... come here!! Wanted to add that after dinner I got myself a tasty espresso!! And I talked to the chef Omar and Luis. They were telling me how every much is homemade and fresh. That sauce that I had wish my dish was a homemade deal!! Very friendly atmosphere and very inviting! Yes it's a bit pricey, BUT all worth it knowing the love and care in each dish! This is definitely a place I'll return to!!!“

“Idk how long this location has been opened, but I just found out, while searching for uni pasta closer to me, that my favorite uni pasta has a 2nd location!!! ? Now I don't gotta drive all the way to Little Tokyo for it. This location is only about 20min (with no traffic ?) from me in the OC!!! Their uni pasta is the best & so is this other dish that my hubby ordered (forgot the name, but it's a bolognese beef stew kind of sauce...it was one of their special item). Also tried a couple of the other appetizers. Pretty good too. Fyi, we've only been their LT location so far. Can't wait to try this one out soon!“

“AWESOME PIZZA!!!I'm blown away by the quality of your pizza. I ordered the Medium Veggie and boy was I blown away by the quality of the pizza. To start with the dough is hand spun, making it nice and fluffy but not doughy like many others. Crust and undercarriage was crispy not greasy and cooked perfectly. The sauce was perfect balance of tangy and sweet. Plenty of vegetables and perfectly balanced cheese. If you are looking for a great pizza this is definitely the place. I am a tough person to satisfy when it comes to pizza but this place gets two thumbs up! I'll definitely be back. Also the service is friendly. This place is a hidden gem, so many small pizza places are dissappearing because people settle for cheap, disgusting pizza. I am happy to discover this place! Keep up the great job! Good luck!“

“Cozy pizza and pasta restaurant. My husband has been here before and wanted me to try it. Very good and friendly service. I had Chicken Parm, my husband had Baked Ziti. I like the salad a lot too. My husband liked the minestrone soup. The garlic bread is nice and buttery.Parking: Recommend to park on the street in the neighborhood behind this plaza. Parking lot is small and will likely be full when you arrive. Other businesses here make the plaza pretty busy.“

“One thing about Uber Eats is you get to discover great places to eat. This restaurant was local and had very good food. I love Calamari and there are a lot of ways to prepare it. Fried is my favorite and this spot didn't disappoint ? here the calamari is mixed with big pieces of shrimp and tomato pasta sauce. I will return to try more on the menu, the smell when you walk in boi!!“

“This place is close to my heart and stomach! Our family has been enjoying Appetizer turkey sandwiches for many, many years. It was a tradition for my Mom and Dad to order them for USC football games. We are continuing the tradition to this day and have also discovered their amazing pizza! So dang good. “I have to tell this story .God was in the Midst.I was feeling depressed.I decided to take a bus ride to Lynnwood .When I got on the bus I sat next to a distinguished Gentlemen .He placed an order on the phone.He ordered LinguineFried Artichokes,Italian Sausage with Onions,Green Peppers with Marinara Sauce.Itcwas cooked in Olive Oil.I had 25.00 and I decided I was taking myself on a bus ride to cheer me up.I was looking for an Italian Restaurant.I asked the Gentleman where he was ordering his food.The restaurant was at the last stop.He was so nice.Mice people can be hard to find in Cali.When I walked into the family owned restaurant.What I loved most was a picture ofmy favorite singer Frank Sinatra autographed.It brought back memories as an eleven year old being on the set of Ocean Eleven. My Uncle Olon Godare a Understudy for Sammy Davis Jr.after he lost his eye in a car accident.I helped stack the money up in the back of the armored truck.The food was excellent.I felt like I was in Italy.Tge service was impeccable.The atmosphere was full of yuppies and was so conservative and I kept thinking at one point.This Restaurant should be in Beverly Hills.The food was to die for.They gave me so much food ,I ate it for 3 days.I have not stopped thinking about this restaurant for 3 years .As of Saturday.M6 daughter and my grandson and I are going there..PLEASE MAKE THIS RESTAURANT A REGUKAR PLACE.it lifted my spirits ,brought back good memories .Uncle Frank and Uncle Sammy and Uncle dino,and Uncle Peter and Uncle Joey RIP.Thanks for yoir superior restaurant.This will not be my last time .So for all of you reading this post.Put his place on your bucket list.I can still feel the Spiritual uplift.This restaurant was good for my soul and spirit.Thanks La Pasta.Dietary restrictions: They have Chef specials .I just called and told them I wanted Artichokes Linguine Italian sausage with Green peppers and onions cooked with Olive Oil with marinara sauce.The Chefs is cooking it on Saturday .The customer was 20.00 and it is worth it.“
