“We came here very earlier and it was just open. We never tried this before, the owner is very friendly and introduced everything to us. We tried the intestine combo, and we very recommend the combination of abomasum, mountain chain and large intestine. The texture of abomasum and mountain chain are very chewy, and combine with the large intestine, it is very oily smooth. It is definitely worth a try!“

“I'm a 27-year-old From Busan Jinseong soup lover.
It's quite clean and delicious here.
Kimchi and kkakdugi are the basics of a soup restaurant, and the basics are solid.
10 pieces of meat in soup? More than half of the soup and rice bowls were covered + Speaking of service, I guess the owner couldn't stand the water cups and side dish bowls being empty so he kept refilling them.
(However, note that there is no onion, pepper, garlic, and ssamjang sauce)
The prices are the same as other Korean restaurants in the US.

“The chicken is always BOMB-TASTIC from this place, & they are speedy quick, too! I placed a pretty good sized order, less than an hour before their pick up "window" closed, & they still had it ready to go in plenty of time! They are always so sweet when I go to pick up, too, & will always give me extra pickled radishes! YUMMM! The savory aroma of their amazing chicken filled my car on my short drive home, & I couldn't wait to dive in like a,SAVAGE! :-P Thank you, b.b.q. chicken, for satisfying this cavegirl's craving tonight!
Parking: It's in a strip mall with other restaurants, on a busy corner, & I have seen the lot packed during the day. Parking is tight there during the day, & due to the busy corner, it's tough to get in & out of. However, I normally do my b.b.q. chicken runs in the evenings after half of the businesses in that strip mall have closed, so parking isn't an issue!“

“Wow! The store was spacious and clean, so my first impression was good. I tried the hangover soup that was recommended to me, and it tasted similar to what I used to eat in Korea. In Korea, people eat a lot of hangover soup or soup with rice to ease their stomachs the day after drinking. It was delicious.
The haejangguk had a broth base with just the right amount of cabbage and meat, so it was spicy and not too spicy.
This is a restaurant where you can eat the Seonjihaejangguk and Sundae that you saw in Korean dramas. Go and try it once!! I always want to visit again.
I got the feeling that the store was clean, and as expected, the food was also prepared cleanly and well.“

“The spicy brisket soup was satisfying. Not too salty and not too spicy. The glass noodles were the perfect chewy texture. The purple rice was amazing as well. The side dishes were fresh and crispy. I especially liked the kimchi. Highly recommend the dumplings. Hard to find this quality.“

“I arrived home late after picking up the chicken, so it was all cold, but it was so delicious even when it was cold, and when you look at the flesh, you can tell that they used good chicken. You can feel the generosity of the owner who pays great attention to the ingredients and does not skimp on them. The chicken was crispy on the outside and very moist and soft on the inside. The seasoning was rich in flavor and very delicious. I think I will only eat thankschicken from now on. For chicken, I highly recommend this chicken restaurant?“

“Honestly it felt like Korea - clean, modern, everything delicious. Really good portions, too! We got the mille feuille beef thing and it was really fun and the dipping sauce was delicious! Dolsot bibimbap came in a low, wide stone pot providing a lot of surface area to make crispy rice and keep it warm. Banchan was good! Kiddo crushed the fish cakes and japchae which are usually bland and left aside. Will come back!

“This restaurant specializes in dishes made with fresh duck meat and gopchang (i.e. intestine). With high-quality ingredients and meticulous preparation, this restaurant truly exceeded all expectations.
The meat was tender and juicy, showcasing the natural flavors of fresh duck without any unpleasant odors.
The gopchang here is prepared with exceptional care, resulting in a clean, rich flavor that melts in your mouth. Grilled to perfection over charcoal, it has a delightful smoky aroma and a slightly crispy texture on the outside while staying juicy inside. As a Korean, I can say that the taste of this restaurant's gobchang is something most Koreans can't help but love.“

“Absolutely amazing. The place is a little bit small, so there's not a lot of places to sit when they're busy, but the food is sooo good! I tried their beef bugolgi and it was the best that I've had in quite a while. I will definitely be coming back again and trying new things as well.“

“A Refreshing Change from Korean BBQ

“The food is very good. Two of us had the galbi ($30), deep fried dumplings ($12), and the kimchi cheese fried rice ($15). The food was well prepared, served hot, and plentiful. All three dishes were delicious.
There were a number of groups, male and female, enjoying their meal with Terra (Korean) beer and soju. Evidently, it is a popular gathering spot for people who appreciate good Korean food.
We want to return soon.“

“The steamed cypress tree was so neat and delicious that it had the best light taste that was more Korean than Korea.
Vegetarian options: You can steam the abundant vegetables in a cypress wood steamer and dip them in the sauce. The brisket is especially thin and soft, so this is the best restaurant that anyone of any age can enjoy. Highly recommended!
Parking: Ample parking is available right in front of the yard.
Kid-friendliness: It's clean and the table itself has a private partition.“

“what a great find! This is some of the best Korean food we’ve had in a long time. The restaurant offers family-style dining with a great selection of soups and a clean, inviting atmosphere. Unlike many Americanized Korean restaurants where the food can be overly sweet or oily, the dishes here are perfectly balanced—flavorful without being too salty or sweet. We’re so glad we discovered this place and will definitely be coming back!“

“It was hard to find the restaurant because it was in the back corner of a business complex. It's very easy to miss, but there's plenty of parking at least. Me and 2 friends ordered from the kiosk and waited about 15m for 3 sandwiches and fries. Inside it's quite small with only a table and bar with 4 seats each.
I got the Signature Sandwich with LVL 2 sauce. The sandwich was massive, and the chicken was so thick, incredibly juicy, and perfectly cooked. The breading and cabbage were crunchy too. The mayo was a creamy complement to the chicken without being overpowering. The spicy sauce was served on the side, and it was so deliviously flavorful and not only spicy. My only complaint here is that I wish there was more spicy sauce and that it was spread inside the sandwich, because I kept forgetting to drizzle sauce on between bites and still ran out.
The salt and vinegar fries tasted exactly like the Lay's flavor but with more potato from the fries, of course. Honestly the fries were nothing special but they gave so much that the box was overflowing.
I tried my friend's Kimchi Egg Sandwich too. The ham was pretty forgettable or missable, but the egg was delicious. The egg was incredibly moist, sweet, and delicately salty, and it paired well with the mild acidity of the kimchi.
We chatted with the owner a bit when we picked up our food and she was very sweet and kind. She made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. I hope more people check this place out, because it's unfortunately very missable in its current location. I'm going to come back but will definitely share a sandwich next time.“

“Let's be real, sometimes restaurant names escape me. But when my wife says "Korean soup place with all the Korean senior citizens," I instantly remember she means Tofu Village in Gardena.
Here's the thing: if you walk into a Korean restaurant and it's filled with Korean senior citizens, you know the food is legit. And Tofu Village? It's always bustling with them, which is a testament to the authentic, soul-warming dishes they serve.
Their specialty is Soon Tofu, and it's honestly the best value on the menu. A bubbling hot stone bowl filled with flavorful broth, silky tofu, and your choice of protein (I'm a beef guy, through and through)? It's pure comfort food.
But the real star of the show, in my opinion, is the banchan. Those unlimited vegetable side dishes? They're a feast in themselves! Fresh, flavorful, and constantly refilled. And even when you order to go, they don't skimp. They pack up little aluminum foil containers with the best of the bunch, which is a thoughtful touch.
Tofu Village isn't fancy, and it doesn't need to be. It's authentic, delicious, and makes you feel good from the inside out. It's a 5-star experience, and I'll keep coming back for that warm, comforting bowl of Soon Tofu. And those banchan, of course!“

“A nice restaurant for Korean comfort food. The bibimbap was good. It feels less Americanized than most restaurants, which was a good thing. We were a bit sad that the samgye tang didn’t have ginseng in it. I think it might be in the broth when they cook it but we usually get the real ginseng our dish too when ordering this. Overall, the taste was good.“

“I come here for Sulung-tang and Kalbi-tang. You can tell they take the time to prepare their broth. Quality ingredients. Nicely fermented banchan. And the rice is always cooked well (which makes a huge difference when having soup). Serving size of the soup is always generous and satisfying. And i try to treat my kids with bb*q Chicken next door - they love the honey garlic boneless chicken.“

It reminds me of the food I used to eat when I went to my grandmother's house.
I always submit because I have a lot ^*^
And is it Grandma Shangak?
I'm getting healthier ^*^

“Portion sizes here are undefeated. You get so much chicken in the small bowl. The grilled chicken is juicy and hot with a unique teriyaki sauce that steals the show. I really like their short grain rice as well. Great post-workout meal.
I used to frequent the Long Beach location and this spot tastes exactly the same thankfully. Area is a little rough but the store itself is clean and inviting.“

“I had the spicy chicken bowl twice this week. It tastes excellent. There's onions, bell pepper, and sesame seeds to go along with the rice and chicken. My only feedback is that there must be a lot of oil in the recipe because my tummy was rumbling less 8hrs later. I'd have it again but definitely ask for light oil.“

“Take this from a Korean native who can't live without jajangmyun and jjampong. This place is one of the best places for it. Don't underestimate this place just bc it's in a food court, and not a full fledged restuarant. Miles better than Paik's noodle. Recommend dine in, though their take out and delivery separate noodles from their soup.“
“Sad the old place is gone. Newly renovated, cleaner, not broken tables. Quality of everything took a giant step up. Meat, especially. Prices went up too, but this is a different establishment than was here. Things taste fresher now, and not overly oily or sweet, however much I may have liked it prior, this is definitely a huge improvement. The speed at which things came out are a little slower but I hope they work they service kinks out soon since they just opened. New owners, familiar front of house staff.
Parking: Not much street parking, can become a mess at night“

“As someone who likes korean food this was a place I wanted to go and try. I want to find a restaurant that feels reminiscent of good ol' home style cooking. You know those places that locals go to, that's what I found here. We went for dinner in the middle of the week and were seated right away. We were the only 2 that looked "out of place". Our server greeted us right away and let us know she would be happy to answer any questions we had or would be glad to give a recommendation on what to order. We got a combo of hot stone bibimbap and galbi. I also got us an order of bossam with kimchi. The banchan they served was delicious, my favorite was the cucumber. My only complaint would be that it was too warm inside and I was sweating throughout the whole meal.“

“I don’t understand why there are so many bad reviews. I was actually worried about the undercooked meat comment because I am pregnant. Everything was perfect and i didnt have to ask for anything different. I asked for extra sauce and he just gave it too me happily. Also the restroom was available to use which was great for me. I got the half and half plate with extra extra avocado. Highly recommend !“

“Korean BBQ all you can eat. Pretty good, haven't been here in awhile...... used to be very cheap, now it's $25/person. Kids 5-7, $10. 8-11, $16. But most places have gone up since covid. No galbi here, just bulgogi, brisket, spicy pork, pork belly, chicken, and beef belly (thin sliced short rib). Not a whole variety but these are the main meats.“

Vegetarian options: Organic tofu, fresh veggies (carrot, cabbage, broccoli), brown rice. Mini bowls available.“

“Wow! I can’t believe I did not try this location sooner. As soon as you walk in the vibe is amazing, but that’s not the best part. The aroma of everything being cooked is so appealing.
I had the miso soup combo with a California roll. The noodle, the pork, the egg and the broth was delicious. You have to try it for yourself!
The price was perfect and I had it to go (in all honesty I should have dined in, next time). I will come back to try more of the delicious food.
Kid-friendliness: I know my kids would love to come and eat here.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, location is very accessible.“
