“We came for lunch to avoid the dinner rush. It was perfect timing. We're also vegetarian so we tried several of their vegan/vegetarian options. They have an extensive menu and tons of options. Everything was delicious. The service was amazing. Our waiter was helpful and friendly. Our favorite were the scallion pancakes and the ramen. It was a bit spicy for us, even though we asked for mild, but it was so delicious. Portions are huge. We took half home, but we're excited to have leftovers.“

“This is probably the most popular place to get your lunch at from students and faculty at El Camino College. Every meeting I'm at around lunch time I see someone eating from Mr. H. I really love their spamasubi and their miso soup. It reminds me of my high school days when people would sell spamasubi from their backpacks. The place has a few tables and chairs to sit on if you are looking to dine in or wait for your food. Cool thing about their service too is they have a buzzer for when your food is ready. Sometimes it takes a little long to get the food to come out but it's always hot and ready to eat when they do.“

“Arrived less than an hour before closing but they weren’t busy so they invited our party of 5 inside after seeing our hesitancy outside the front door. I wish I got their names but they were incredibly hospitable, helping us figure out how to best enjoy the dishes we ordered (we’re still learning about Korean cuisine) and were really accommodating. “Was in the mood for Korean BBQ and came across this place nearby on google maps so decided to give it a try? Went with a group of four people, and this restaurant has set menus which was very convenient. Ordered the beef and 8 kinds of marinated pork belly set (Family Combo 2 that feeds 3-4 people) and this set came with a large stew hotpot also. We thought we would have to cook the meats but Casey, our awesome server came by and grilled the meats for us as we ate the grilled meats off the grill. A couple soju and beers and this made for probably the best meal on my cali trip?? The service, the marinated pork, and the stew was both filling and delish. “Galbi, Corn Cheese, and Soju just make the perfect night out ! Kko Kko Yang is literally the hidden gem for amazing Korean BBQ in Gardena! I can't believe I only found out about this place recently and I've lived in Southbay LA all my life! We got their brisket and galbi which was so tender and delicious. They have so many good sides such as their steamed egg, soybean soup, kimchi pancake, and banchan, and we even ordered some refreshing cold noodles on the side. My favorite part was pouring the corn cheese in the galbi and letting it sizzle on the grill! This place is known for their gopchang, aka intestines, but they have so many unique cuts of meat here to grill! We tried their gopchang, daechang, abomasum and beef heart as well, and the staff really knows how to cook these cuts! Nothing was overly chewy and it's hard to find places that can do this right. Definitely recommend checking them out the next time you want a delicious and different KBBQ experience!“

“Found this place by accident! We went to another place for Korean bbq but the menu didn't look great so we did a quick google search and found this hidden gem! The service was great and everything came out do quickly! I got the soup & my partner got the galbi that came with a small soybean soup. Everything was super flavorful and I think we both agreed that we must visit this place again of we're craving a comforting meal.“

“We there for the first time on a Friday night and there was a good amt of people waiting. The place was packed! That is a good sign! The staff was hustling to get the tables cleaned and set up for the next guest. I appreciate that. You know you can tell if the food is going to be great by judging the banchan. The kimchi was very nice!! We ordered the seafood pancake. This was like a deep dish pancake! The was really good! A lot of different seafood in it and the edges were nice and crispy! We got the pork belly with arugula(tomsamgyub salad) it was very good as well. The sweetness of the pork belly with the bitterness of the arugula just worked. We also got the bossam and LA galbi. Everything was really good and I kept thinking while I was eating, I can't wait to go back! And the portions are really big! The ambulance was really cute. I really felt like I was in Korea! It's very bright and very cute cut out of Korean words. We got a booth and it felt very separate from the other tables. That was really nice! Looking forward to going there again!“

“Husband and I went out for a late night snack while lodging at a nearby hotel. Food was good and atmosphere quite alright. They had all kinds of stuff on the menu. “This place is a gem, I am so glad to have finally tried their food. There are lots of scrumptious options to choose from and right when I think I've made up my mind on what to get I spot the daily specials board. Mind you I did get in late for dinner so they were mostly sold out of their specials but I did not leave disappointed. The staff is friendly and very attentive, they make you feel like family. The chili is DELICIOUS! I loved it, I even took a pint of it home. Their poke is good, it was marinated with sesame oil and green onions. “My teen daughter and I love On + On, and everyone at this location is so nice. It is next to home Depot so plenty of parking. The food is very fresh and there are so many choices you will never get bored. The sauce selections are very tasty I love all of the proteins. It is very easy to eat as healthy as you would like at this restaurant. There are so many vegetables to choose from cold and hot. I highly recommend! I always get two sauces nori and hot and get them on the side so I can add as much as I prefer. You get a very large amount of food for the price as well. Highly recommend!“

Yellow Cow was the place and we are sure glad we found this place. It wasn't crowded which my wife and I prefer and were seated immediately. The gentlemen who took our order were also kind enough to lay our meat down on the grill before we started to cook, which I thought was a nice touch of service. The ladies were so sweet and full of love that it was radiating off of them and made us feel so welcomed. When they would come around to our table they made sure we were ok and comfortable and asked how everything was. One of the ladies even gave us some recommendations on how we could incorporate the side dishes with the BBQ which we thought was very thoughtful and pleasant. All in all we are giving the Yellow Cow a 5-star due to everyone's effort, genuineness, service, ambiance & food. I highly recommend if you're looking for all the above. “Absolutely love this place. I think we've been eating here about once every 2 weeks for the last year or so now and it is consistenly great every time. We like the half crispy and half sweet spicy wings the most. I love that they make it fresh on order - so you're always getting hot crispy wings every time. It's nice to see everyone working at a tolerable speed where I don't think they're stressed out and orders aren't taking more than 20 mins. My experience with Kimbap at other restaurants is they take more than 30 mins because they're also dealing with online orders, phone orders and in house orders. But I believe everyone at this restaurant was doing that but still making good time management without sacrificing the quality and presentation of the food. I had an order of beef kimbap and an order of spam Kimbap. I'm looking forward to trying out more of the menu here when I'm in the area.“

I think the places I had gopchang before had poor quality meat/intestines as it never tasted "fresh" or of good quality. I have to say it was good.. I liked it... it was different..it was cheesier than a regular Mozzarella Stick that you get anywhere but I would have preferred for the stick to be filled and not half filled... its like you're only getting Half of what you're paying for.. thats my opinion but it was still flavorful and good. The customer Service was good. Again, I think it looks like a Ice Cream Shop but its a Elotes place Dominated by the Mozzarella Big Stick. “The korean fried chicken isso yummy here! I've tried a few other korean fried chicken places in the South Bay and this is my favorite. Can't go wrong with any of the flavors. But be warned - their spicy is seriously spicy. I love spicy and it was almost too much for me. I also highly recommend the rose toppoki.“

I got the orange chicken because it didn't have soy and the person I was with got the Mongolian beef with noodles. I ordered on the phone the person was very sweet and knowledgeable and very considerate about my allergies. Everything arrived very sealed tight in plastic accept for my orange chicken and it had a cool opener the radish it looked like it was seasoned with ginger. It came with a side of rice.
