“Location is everything, especially when seated on the patio facing the marina with boats big and small directly in view. One never tires of this scene even after enjoying the meal. Portions are still big at Killer Cafe, but prices are up, way up.
Parking: Small parking lot fills up quickly on busy days.“

“Second time visiting this location. 1st time it a To-Go order and decided to come back.
Both times you are greeted with a Smile and Welcoming attitude.
The staff is Super Friendly. I honestly experienced a Family gathering.
The waitress remember us from our To-Go order. Weeks have passed and even remembered where we sat to wait.
I ordered Señor Donn's Latino Heat. Maybe I didn't like because I even licked my plate. Very tasty with a little hit. The biscuit with thei Jelly, well, your mouth is in Heaven“

“Best freaking breakfast in LA! Food is top notch: flavors, presentation, menu choices. Service is great, nicest people. Incredible atmosphere. Coffee needs a special mention - it's perfect, better than most fancy coffee shops, and you'd never find anything like that in any restaurant. Can't say enough of good things about them. Can't wait to be back“

“Call ahead! The wait at the sandwich section can - at times - be a bit slow & tedious and can cost you half your lunch hour. Plus I don't love the fact that their default channel is "Fix News". Still, the salad bar is fabulous. Also, Maggie and Ruby absolutely rock! :-)“

“I recently visited this café and was thoroughly impressed. We had the breakfast burrito and a croissant sandwich, both of which were excellent—flavorful and well-prepared. The café was spotlessly clean, and the employees were friendly and attentive. Overall, a fantastic experience! 5/5.“

“This secret coffee breakfast and lunch spot is the best tasting food and value in the Westside bar none. Tucked into a lobby spot on Sawtelle, you can get a giant delicious egg breakfast with fantastic potatoes or chicken sausage for under $20. Coffees, waffles, sandwiches top notch. Why go to all of the douchey influencer spots. Great service and the guys here are always friendly pros. Check it out!!!“

“Our Elite Tabletop Family cannot say enough great things about Cafe 50’s! From the way we were GREETED, TREATED, & SERVED, to the way they’ve continued to treat our daughter like FAMILY since she’s arrived in Santa Monica. They’ve been nothing less than spectacular and are the epitome of what a True, neighborhood nostalgic 50’s diner encompasses. No other establishment has ever provided fun toys & items of entertainment while waiting for our food. We thank Benjamin for that! Victor the GM checked on our table and made sure Kim our waitress was taking care of us! Kim was a fantastic server and we never once waited for a refill on anything. The staff @ Cafe 50’s take pride in their customer service & establishment and they deserve all the recognition! You have our family’s support for life Cafe 50’s! We would ❤️ to support you, supporting the local community!“

“Can’t say enough about how much our family loves bolt. It’s our little neighborhood spot where they cook everything from scratch and the service is excellent! We usually go for breakfast when all the baked goods (made on site) are fresh and delicious. We had the chilaquiles, corn beef hash and the brisket tacos. Everything was excellent! They are so accommodating to the kids too. I love supporting these guys.
Kid-friendliness: The proprietors are so kind, so patient and lovely to the kids. They make sure to acknowledge them and make their experience really special.“

“**Please read: the pancake portions are huge here, I saw multiple grown men not even finish half a plate and it's a ton of food waste! If you're going to order it at least know what you're getting into and get a to go box or something. That being said tgey looked AMAZING. I had an egg platter that was great as well.
Place has local dive vibes, waiter was attentive and pleasant, food and coffee was hot, and everything seemed clean.
Also shout out to the cooks in the back, those dudes hustle ??“

“I have warm memories of my first visit to the LA branch due to the welcoming staff and kindness of the server. :)
Parking: This was my first visit and I felt good as a traveler due to the friendly staff's hospitality. I looked for it while I was staying in LA, as I had already enjoyed it a lot on the East Coast. The valet service seemed comfortable, but talking about tips too openly and as if it were obvious was not a pleasant experience.“

“Auntie Beulah's isn't just a meal, it's an experience. From the fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth bacon, egg, and cheese biscuits to the hella hot biscuit's fiery kick, every bite was a flavor explosion.Let's start with the star of the show: the poutine gravy fries. Creamy, cheesy gravy blanketing perfectly crispy fries - it's the ultimate comfort food, elevated. The chicken tenders were juicy and perfectly seasoned, offering a delicious crunch with each bite. For a sweet treat, the French toast sticks were heavenly. Dipped in maple syrup, they were soft, fluffy, and the perfect way to satisfy a sweet tooth. But wait, there's more! The smothered biscuits were smothered in rich, flavorful gravy, making them a hearty and satisfying dish. And the cheesy grits? Oh my, the cheesy grits! Creamy, cheesy, and oh-so-good, they were the perfect side to any dish.Speaking of sides, the banana pudding was a delightful ending to the feast. Fresh bananas layered with creamy pudding and whipped cream - it was the perfect touch of sweetness to top off an incredible meal.A special shoutout to the hella hot biscuit. This one packs a punch! If you love spicy food, this is definitely for you. It's not for the faint of heart, but for those who dare, it's a flavor adventure worth exploring. The service was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall warm and inviting atmosphere. Auntie Beulah's is more than just a restaurant; it's a place where you can feel the love and passion poured into every dish. I can't wait to go back and explore more of their menu!Highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for delicious Southern comfort food with a modern twist. 5 stars all around!P.S. You won't regret ordering everything I mentioned, but if you have to choose, the poutine gravy fries and hella hot biscuit are must-tries!“

“I had an exceptional experience at IHOP! The food, service, and atmosphere were really good. Our server, Brenda, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we wanted and made our visit feel uniquely welcoming. She constantly checked up on us, was great to converse with, and was wonderful with my 1-year-old. The food was amazing, and the service was better than what we usually get from this big company. IHOP should definitely make Brenda a server trainer for all their restaurants. Highly recommend!“

“I've been coming here for years, for many reasons: the people are friendly, the atmosphere is inviting, and the food is perfection. My faves are the breakfast burrito and Spanish latte. The juices are great too and my son loves the croissants. It is a little pricey, but the portions are big. They have a big parking lot in the back, along with indoor and outdoor seating.“

“It’s not fancy, it’s just good food served up fast and hot! Big menu with lots of options. We did a very casual Father’s Day brunch here. Be mindful that parking can be sticky so not there is a lot a block or two, to the North. Also, it can get busy on weekend mornings!

“Honestly very impressed with this place. Don't expect fine dining or anything unusual. But if you're looking for classic diner fare you won't be disappointed. Got their big French toast (available all day) which is a feast of breakfast food (eggs, sausage, bacon, hash browns, and of course 4 pieces of French toast).“

“Wife and I were out walking and saw this place. It was breakfast time so in we went.
A small place but with high airy ceilings that make it seem big and bright. Chairs are comfortable, too.
Wife started with house coffee and I had café de olla. The small cup in the pic is mine. Wife was happy with her coffee and I found mine intriguing. Sweet with a hint of cinnamon. Recommended.
The wife ordered the American breakfast. Comes with 3 eggs, bacon, potatoes and bread. She was very happy with her choice. It was a lot of food.
I ordered the jalapeño omelet. I usually take French Toast as my reference dish but the jalapeño pulled me in. It was a big omelet with peppers, onions, sausage and bacon; the potatoes and bread. The taste was just spicy enough. A nice sensation.
The place was half full when we arrived at about 10 am. More and more customers kept coming. When we left it was almost completely full.
Experience was very pleasant, staff was competent and price was appropriate, although the dinosaur in me thinks it should have been half or so.
We will be back. I still have to try the French Toast!
Kid-friendliness: High chairs and friendly staff
Wheelchair accessibility: Looked like doors were wide enough, no stairs, outside seating.“

“I came during the week for late breakfast. It wasn't busy at all so that was good. Food was good. I'm not sure if the waitress wasn't paying attention though. She sat us at a dirty table. There was syrup on the table. :-/ She cleaned it with what smelled like strong alcohol. It was so strong my 2 yo started coughing. :-( We had to ask for whip cream twice, I was never offered a refill for my water and when I asked she forgot.“
