“Trader Joe’s in Marina is one of my favorite grocery stores. There’s plenty of parking, so getting in and out is always easy. The store is well organized, and the items I buy regularly are consistently in the same place, which makes shopping quick and hassle-free without wandering the aisles looking for things.
The staff is always incredibly friendly, welcoming, and happy to help. Overall, it’s a clean, convenient, and enjoyable place to shop. Highly recommended!“

If you’re looking for beautiful artisan pastries and creative croissants, this bakery is definitely worth visiting. The pastries look like edible art... the glazing, colors, and design are absolutely mesmerizing.
The service was excellent. One of the owners was there interacting with customers, which I really appreciated. It shows pride in the business and creates a welcoming atmosphere.
Flavorwise👀.. some pastries were fantastic while others looked better than they tasted for me. Here’s my honest ranking of the ones I tried:
1️⃣ Strawberry Croissant – 8/10
Light, fresh, and nicely balanced.
2️⃣ Strawberry Cream Pastry – 8/10
Soft texture and pleasant sweetness.
3️⃣ Raspberry cube Croissant – 10/10
Beautiful and delicious. One of the standouts.
4️⃣ Chocolate Croissant – 4/10
Looked great, but the flavor felt a little bland
5️⃣ mini heart Strawberry crossants- 8/10 Beautiful and delicious mini treat
6️⃣ Strawberry croissant – 5/10
Decent, but it didn’t leave a strong impression compared to the others...
7️⃣pistacho Croissant – 4/10
Beautiful glaze, but the flavor didn’t stand out much.
For drinks, I tried the hibiscus coffee that was recommended. I may have misunderstood the drink because I expected coffee with hibiscus syrup. Instead, it tasted more like a lightly carbonated hibiscus soda mixed with coffee, and it came across a bit watered down for my taste. It might just be the style of the drink, but it wasn’t quite what I expected when ordering coffee.
Overall, I walked out spending over $80 on pastries and coffee, so I was hoping for a bit more flavor to match the incredible presentation.
That said, the creativity, atmosphere, and service were wonderful, and the pizza croissant alone is worth coming back for. I’m looking forward to returning and trying more pastries and exploring more of the coffee menu.“

“We came to this bakery because I read about their pastries. Particularly, about their almond croissants, and how incredible they were.
If you're driving through, do make sure you stop to try both the almond and the ham and cheese croissant. They are truly spectacular. Something special and hard to find.
I was disappointed to see how snobby? Annoyed? everyone behind the counter was. But I guess when your food is so good, that's a luxury you can afford.“

“My son is in his first year at the DIL in Monterey. I sent a package and it wasn’t supposed to be delivered in time for his birthday. I made an order online and called after to make sure they could deliver to the gate and wait for him to come and get it. It worked great and helped me celebrate him from afar!“

“They did our wedding cake in 2016 and then our vow renewal cake this month in 2026!!! We tried a chocolate raspberry this time and it was a fan favorite at our reception. I just wish they would bring back the pistachio flavor tho 😩“

“Lupita's strikes again! Once again, completely delicious food! The quality of their food is so good that you won't feel that yucky takeout feeling after eating there! You will feel like your Mexican mom made you a batch of rice and beans! The key is their oaxacan roots! I love how they make their quesadillas with like a thick masa. The tamales are bomb, masa is seasoned correctly and then the fillings are so good. we love the chicken mole ones but also like the rajas and the salsa verde. Today we branched out to try their tortas and new burrito bowls. outstanding! Ask for some Oaxacan cheese on your burrito bowl! Okay, now the bakery... There is always a debate on who has the best donuts on the Monterey Peninsula, I always hear about the donut places, but for me Lupita's is the best. their donut is substantial and then the chocolate on top is decadent! I really keep saying, who would go to any sole donut shop when you can get so much variety here? Donuts, donut holes, cakes, cookies, pan dulce! and my ultimate favorite... a loaf of morning glory bread!!! Like a carrot cake bread with oats! trust me! super delicious! Lastly, they are super friendly! I love their staff! I am currently working with them to do custom donuts for my son's upcoming birthday! They are always willing to work with their customers to make them happy!“

“I can't begin to express the beautiful his & her cakes Patisserie Bechler made! The Princess and Carrot cakes were beautiful and delicious! The bakery also helped us when our breakfast plans fell apart. We did a last minute order of their quiches, and they were amazing! It is rare to get such quality and service on a remote order! You all are awesome!“

“This location has a sign out front that states it's closed until further notice and should be treated as such. The Paris Bakery in Monterey is open and has a very nice Almond Croissant. However, the Seaside location is closed. I've submitted an edit to it's hours.“

“The service was amazing walked in the welcome door just to be welcomed and greeted. That is what service is all about recognize a customer and greeting him and welcoming him like family. That pan dulce, was amazing thank you for the service and the delicious delicate pan dulce I brought home. To bring better business if a homeless man is outside offer him to clean up the parking are around your establishment and to scrub your your concrete entry floor area near the front area to keep the business clean and so people can see the establishment is clean inside and out. Better business happens when both business are clean inside and out. I am from a Mexican heritage I believe in sweeping outside the store to sweep bad juju or brujaria or brujo or evil out from your stores. Idk if it a superstition but I do believe it true. Offer a homeless man who is unfortunate, the business is not just blessing a man or woman it also of evil to clean up evil. “I was able to special order a Lemon Meringue pie and it was the best! It's hard to find a local bakery that makes lemon meringue pies. The crust was flaky, the lemon curd filling was not too tart, and the meringue was perfection! Everyone really enjoyed it! My husband and I were referred to her, Tart and Tin, by our venue as a preferred vendor for our wedding this November 2021, and boy did she understand the assignment! She is incredibly kind, accommodating, and delivered far above and beyond our consultation and expectations. My wedding guests gobbled up everything so quickly and people are still talking about her cake design for us. Alexis was a dream and we cannot recommend her enough! :)“
