“Really pretty set up, both inside and outside. Been here three times now and have sat outside each time and it's been really nice each time. The menu is seasonal, which is nice, to try some new things, and it's a generous amount of food. We've enjoyed our food each time but really hoping the dessert options and quality picks up in the future, that was unfortunately a miss for us on both counts.“

We’re visiting the area primarily for golf, and our caddie told us that the Flying Fish Grill is his favorite restaurant in the area. We completely understand why! SO many “WOWs” in this meal from start to finish. We had the chips and ginger salsa, Calamari, Crab Tower, Salad, Sea Bass, and hot fudge sundae. Every. Single. Bite was amazing. And the service was the best we’ve experienced in the Monterey area. That’s saying a lot as we’re staying at The Lodge at Pebble Beach. We’ve been here tons of times, but today when we went in, the service wasn’t the same, waitress seemed upset for some reason because I asked for extra avocado & I had to ask another waitress for some chips 20 minutes later because the original waitress never asked us if we needed anything else after they brought us our food. Besides that, food was delicious 👍🏿“

“We came here because two in our party must not eat gluten. One has quite a number of food allergies. This restaurant was impressive. They have a separate gluten free menu and a separate gluten free frier. They also have a separate vegetarian (full) menu. The waitress spent quite some time explaining food prep and how they can make adjustments to the menu for various allergies. In fact, she was soo good (an older lady) that even though the tip was included (due to our large party size) we tipped her above and beyond that amount. The food was also excellent! All of us were happy - regardless of the type of food we ordered - regular, gluten free or vegetarian. We would definetely come here again. Note: The only downside is, like in all of Carmel, parking is hard to find. So if you make reservations - be sure to show up at least a half hour early to spend time looking for parking.“

“We enjoyed the mini black pearl platter, it was plenty for a family of four and €200 plus tip. It was great fun trying to extract every last bit our teenage kids loved it. We enjoyed a window seat so looked out over the harbour. The platter included Clam Chowder, King Crab, Snow Crab, Dungeness Crab, Lobster, Jumbo Prawns, mini prawns, clams and mussels.“

“The Crab House, with its signature giant clock near the end of the Wharf, is a wonderful relaxing destination to dine with family or friends, featuring a great setting and beautiful views from both upstairs and downstairs. It’s perfect for corporate and tour groups and celebrations, offering a spacious layout, al fresco dining upstairs and downstairs with great views of the Monterey Harbor, and a comfortable bar area also with fantastic views. The restaurant is very well run, with professional and friendly servers and hostesses who make the experience seamless. They welcome families and with the big space and a variety of seating options, it's a great choice.

For lunch yesterday, everything was delicious. They have a big menu with lots of choices. The Jumbo Coconut Prawns with chunks of sweet mango were crispy and wonderful, the Goat Cheese and Beet Salad was excellent, and the garlic bread was crunchy, tasty and fresh. Special thanks to our server, Jorge Ranilo, who was superb—friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly very experienced. He made our visit especially enjoyable.

“What a great little restaurant! We happened to find it after we didn’t want to park a half mile away to go to a local place on the wharf. The service was impeccable and the food was excellent. We started with crab cakes then the beet salad and finished with the Seafood Pasta. The cream sauce in the pasta was epic. They grill the bread before bringing it out, sooo good. We were visiting from LA on our anniversary and they were so kind to give us a complimentary cheesecake dessert. My wife loves bread and they even made us a fresh batch to go, with our leftover salad. Can’t recommend this place enough. Do yourself a favor and get over here soon!“
