“My cousin and I came here on a Friday evening around 6:30 PM and were pleasantly surprised that we were seated right away with no reservation. The vibe was beautiful from the moment we walked in. The lighting was cute, there was a pool in the center of the space, and everyone was dressed up which added to the atmosphere without feeling too formal.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming from the start with lots of smiles and easy conversation. Our waiter was incredibly kind and genuine. The only issue was that he forgot to put in our order the first time so he had to come back and take it again. When the food came out he forgot a few things but he seemed a bit overwhelmed so maybe it was just a busy night.
The food came out very fast and it was absolutely amazing. Everything we tried was flavorful and beautifully presented. The menu had so many good options that it honestly took me a while to decide what to get because I wanted to try everything.
Overall it was a great experience. There were a few bumps in service but the overall vibe and quality of the food more than made up for it. I would definitely come back.“

“This is a great place to enjoy continental food. I was very surprised at how authentic the Indian food I ordered tasted. I ordered the butter chicken which came with naan, rice and chapatis. Butter chicken. It tasted like professional style and was very nice looking. It even surpassed some of the Indian restaurants I have tried before.“

After searching around online and social media this place looked beautiful from their aesthetics however their menu, service, food and the atmosphere itself lived up to the expectation!
Very easy to get a table, food came out with not really even much of a wait, restaurant is super stunning and classy.

We used to have a fire table like yours, so dining here always carries a sense of home. Last night we brought friends, and they said, ‘This makes it hard to go out to eat in Monrovia—our restaurants cut corners with cheap ingredients and fast turnover.’ What your chefs create is the opposite: dishes with not just incredible flavor but extraordinary texture and detail. “I've been going to Pieloon for a few years now and it is THE BEST restaurant in Downey! The food is always fabulous, the portions are large, the service is perfect! I've had appetizers, salads, pastas, steaks, burgers, sandwiches (I'm addicted to the BLT) and many of their specials. My family and I go now 2x a week and have trouble deciding what to get because it's all so good! And the pies...their pumpkin pie is the best I've ever had and the blueberry cheesecake is fabulous...but just wait until fresh peach pie season...I'll gain weight just thinking about it...the fresh peach is the best pie I've ever, EVER had! I love this place and the people who work there!! They're like family now!“

“I've never been to a chopped cheese spot in NYC, but I imagine this is what they would look like. Food is fire and staff is friendly. Place is small and it is on a residential street so both times I've gone (early afternoon and late night) Our was hard to find parking. There are 4-6 stools (I forget exactly how many) along the front window where you can sit and eat. The food also reheats nicely LoL.“

For a quick grab and go sandwich shop, I would highly recommend off of service alone. The bread is a nice e compliment to the meat alongside the veggies and dressing. Don't skip on this place just because it's a sandwich shop. Will be going back again next time we visit.“

“I went here to get a quick coffee (Americano) and a tiramisu. The coffee was actually good, and the tiramisu also tasted good! But what I love about this place is that they made the tiramisu take out special by adding whipped cream around the tiramisu (NOT on, don’t worry) so that there wouldn’t be empty space.

The owner of Bon Vivant was SO nice. A very sweet man. The service was great, even for take out.“
