“We love coming to Wunderbar, and whenever we bring friends here, they love it too, and we have a blast.
Kiernan is always an incredible host from the moment we walk through the door. He is warm, fun and thoughtful. He knows his drinks and delivers a phenomenal level of service and sets a high bar - not just for Wunderbar, but for all high-end cocktail establishments.
All the bartenders are fantastic, from Selina, to Andrew, to Brandon. The drinks are always on point. And of course, the endless supply of warm buttery popcorn is a great bonus!“

“Molly O's is a great spot for every meal, drinks, watching sports, live music and DJs. My favorite dishes are the Shepherd's Pie, Steak & Eggs, Fish & Chips and the NY Steak, and they regularly have various specials. The salads are also great! I have yet to have a meal that disappointed.
Fridays & Saturday nights get lit with the DJs, bands, and great crowds. 10/10 recommend!“

“I've been going to Sodinis bar to sing karaoke with friends and family for a few years now. I was there this past December celebrating my birthday. I've had a pretty good time whenever I've gone there. The bartenders are pretty friendly and the bar owner Robert is also always nice. The only negative I would say is that when it gets kind of busy on the weekends and there's a long list of singers, it's hard to get on the karaoke list to sing right away. I was recently reminded by the bar owner that there's karaoke on Thursday nights. So if you're looking for a good time out in Redwood City and on the Peninsula Thursday-Saturday nights and enjoy singing karaoke, go check out Sodinis. You won't be disappointed. Cheers! Kudos.“

“I hosted a company happy hour for 25 people at the Redwood City location and it was amazing! Jose was our bartender and I was afraid that people would be waiting for drinks but he was efficient and quick. The food was amazing and the set up was great. Working with the owner to do the private event was a breeze. I highly recommend booking this venue for corporate happy hours and will be booking with them again soon!“

“Went here twice for a film screening and Dust Breaks' EP release party—both different and great events! Good vibes, warm & inviting while having great staging for different kinds of events to play with. As an artist myself, I'd like to play a show here in the future for its vibes, drinks, easy access to food along the area, and friendly service! Shoutout to Allan for the friendliness and tech help!“
“Excellent bar, close to the train. Good prices on drinks and salty bar nuts to keep you thirsty. It was nice and quiet when my group went and the barman told me they do free reserved parties so that's gonna be my next adults-only venue“

“I once knew a girl, we worked at South West YMCA camp, jeepers was it 1984? Fast forward to 2002 I randomly saw her in this bar and time hasn’t passed. We said our goodnight, but this a meet zone that has legs…it’s an older established neighborhood bar, a meeting zone. You should check it out. From my experience, there are a few ground rules, ready?Be good or be gone…No matter the size of your entourage, you don’t own this place, we are all transitioning throughout, so calm down. The deputy mayor of the town is at the end of the bar. The local doctor is at the bar, the local plumber that will fix all of your issues is at the bar, so tread lightly before you blow this place up with your outside view.Back to my original point of view, you don’t own this place with your ca$h, they own the history and you borrow it for a few hours. Be good or be gone.“
“sports atmosphere....patrons are awesome, jukebox I love and the bartenders are awesome...“

“It's a good old fashioned pub. Nothing fancy, just a nice comfortable place to have a drink and make a friend. There is a large outside area where you can smoke and have a drink, which is hard to find. It's my go to place after a hard days work. The service is the best !!“
“I had a very positive experience with the company from beginning to end. The entire staff was pleasant and helpful. Very delighted with roller garage door; it looks great and does the job well; neighbours have commented on how wonderful it looks. Thanks.“

“What a blast. I went down to Beefy's last night with my wife and a friend of ours for a dart tournament. There were at least 40 people chucking darts. Everyone was very welcoming as the dart community usually is. TBH, I got a little clostrophobic as there was nowhere to move after each throw. It was packed. Too many tables and chairs in the way The tournament was played on 5 boards simultaneously, and they have a practice board inside and outside. The boards were all lit very well with LED surrounds, and we used the provided tablets with DartsConnect app for scoring. Some people brought snacks to share. Priced seemed a little high ($8 Modelo draft) on drinks, but what bar isn't nowadays. There is plenty of parking in front and back. League Darts on Thursdays and tournaments on Saturdays. Overall, I had a very nice experience there and will definitely be returning.“
“I only heard about Chris' New Harbor Bar a few weeks ago as a Thursday night karaoke bar. Then found its owned by a Greek-American family that was celebrating Greek Independence Day that next Saturday. As I'm also Greek American I had to check it out. I like to say I support my own. The bar isn't a restaurant but George (the owner) and his family went out of their way to cook a feast of lamb, trigona, pastitsio (Greek lasagna), rice and traditional Greek salad, not to mention the blue tinted Ouzo flowed like water with a DJ playing modern and traditional Greek music. The house was full of Chris' regulars all having a great time. Even as it was my first visit I never felt out of place and all the clientele was welcoming and friendly. So, the following Thursday I made the 40 minute trek back from San Ramon for Karaoke night. Again, more regulars and most with pretty good voices. I had read several reviews about Chris' New Harbor Bar before my first visit. While most were happy regulars and cheerful first timers there were a few cranky patrons who just put it down as a dive bar and didn't like anything about it.As I mentioned earlier, I support my own, but I support any establishment that celebrates it's founding culture and goes out of it's way to put on a spread as George and family did the weekend before. And when you walk in it's a very American establishment, no one feels out of place. This is what a local bar is all about. My Thumbs Up to Chris' New Harbor Bar!“
“We were weary travelers stopping by Scotty's in hope of a more chill vibe with some good food, and Scottys delivered! Our bartender, Sergio, was so friendly and fun! We got some inside knowledge about the town as we are from Oregon. The drinks were perfect and the food was top notch! I would have expected to pay a lot more for the quality of food and service we received at literally any of the surrounding places. We will visit Palo Alto again if only to go back to Scotty's as a new tradition! Thank you, Sergio, for making our anniversary dinner a great one! Someone give him a raise!“
“I remember the Pioneer Saloon from when I lived in the Bay Area and worked in Silicon Valley. I came there with friends over a few decades and enjoyed the live music. And, way back in 1975, my brother, Tom Martin, was a first live music performer at the Pioneer Saloon. Tom is still a singer songwriter performer.“
“Suzanna and Ashley are the best bartenders there oh and def can’t forget about Tiffany“

“I am a regular here at this amazing place. .recently there has been some Interesting coverage behind the bar.The women that have already worked there, have established the proper professional courtesy of being the proper ears and eyesRecently, there have been new additions to the lineup.I had the joy of being there the other evening, and watching a new incredibly rude, passive aggressive bartender, introduced herself to new customers, and then promptly tell these people how much power she has over her ex-husband and uses him as a fire fighter to abuse her strength because she didn’t have her doors fixed in her apartment buildingNo one wants to hear her problems, but everyone learned her problems that night I have a video I’d be more than happy to share it.I was playing songs encouraging her to stop running her mouth“

“If you’re looking for a night out in Mountain View Mollys is the place to go. $7 cover on weekends but free if you get in before 9pm, with re-entry. The bouncers and bar tenders are awesome people who are passionate about the place they run and creating a fun atmosphere for clientele. 10/10“
“Great little place to unwind with a few beers in the afternoon. Several beers are on tap plus in bottles. They don't serve any food except snacks so I always bring a sub with me if I am hungry. The decor is subtle but well done. It took me a few visits to notice the old movie posters. They even have shuffleboard for retro enthusiasts (alas no Foosball.) An internet jukebox is always playing with great tunes and is accessible from your phone or the bar's wifi. There are several TVs on for sports fans. They love their dogs in San Carlos and some bring their usually beautiful ones in. Unfortunately some are quite noisy. So I can't give this bar five stars as much as I want to.“

“Had a wonderful, fresh breakfast and a nice dinner at the restaurant in The Westin in Palo Alto. The breakfast I chose was the bar which included eggs, bacon, potatoes, and French toast. Cereal, coffee, OJ, and toast was available as well a 8 varieties of fruit. For dinner, I started with the cheese plate and finished with the Soleil Burger with Gilroy fries. Long Islands were outstanding. The cheese plate was excellent and served with toast. The burger was cooked to perfection with bacon and cheddar.“

““I had an amazing experience the other day. You’ve got to try the Octopus Carpaccio if you're into seafood—it’s incredibly tender and packed with flavor. And don’t skip the Bread & “Butter”; it’s a game-changer with its whipped bone marrow spread over warm, crusty sourdough. Absolutely delicious!I also tried the Cup of Gold cocktail while I was there. It’s a fantastic mix of bourbon infused with golden raisins, Madeira, honey, and just a hint of celery bitters, creating a unique, smooth flavor that’s both sweet and subtly earthy.Sitting on their rooftop, enjoying these incredible dishes and drinks, really made my day. The vibe up there is just so cool and laid-back—it's the perfect place to unwind and soak in the views over Palo Alto. Whether you’re looking for great food, tasty drinks, or just a chill spot to hang out, President’s Terrace is definitely worth a visit.”“

“We arrived at Sky Lounge after a very robust UBER ride, only to sadly find out that they were closed after having a seemingly pretty extravagant office Christmas party. However, they were fortunately very gracious enough to open their doors back up for our small party to have a couple drinks while we gathered our bearings and found another place to go.“
“Great venue for parties & just a nice place to have drinks. Beer selection is fabulous as is the atmosphere. McGoverns bartenders are fun friendly & helpful. There are numerous games to enjoy playing from table hockey, billiards, checkers, pinball, ect. If you walk in solo...you’ll find yourself with plenty of friendly people & conversation!“

“This is probably my favorite place to eat for 20+ years now. The bar is great, the service is impeccable, and the food is delicious. I have eaten everything on the menu and appreciate its consistency. Everything on the menu is great to share, and the drinks are a ticket to a boozy Shangri-La. The Cuban Sidecar is my favorite.“
“Good food and drinks but Very pricey. Great staff. The food is pretty good. There is a young girl that works in the kitchen that's just Very rude and off-putting for no reason. No matter how nice you are it's like she has something against you. But all in all a great place.“

“Hosted an event in the Rustic Room adjacent to the main restaurant. Beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, with passed appetizers and flatbreads. Guests remarked on the good quality of the drinks and food, and the service was friendly, professional, and excellent. Particular kudos to the lead event contact, Barbara, who was patient and thoughtful about organizing everything for a great evening. Would strongly recommend for your event, unless I want to book a repeat event, in which case I have dibs.“
“My go-to pool hall. Great vibe and decor, clean tables, well-kept chalks (some of the places I go to, the chalks are nonexistent already LOL), and John is always fun to talk to. Super attentive and has a wealth of pool knowledge to share. He'd sometimes coach me on stance and technique.
My only request would be more option for cocktails and IPAs, but other than that, I love coming here.“

“Cute, delicious, and A MUST TRY. Joy Sushi a cute Japanese joint nestled in Mountain View was an amazing spot to eat.
The service from Joy Sushi was exceptional with the servers bringing a familial vibe in the restaurant. One of the servers even helped me learn how to use my chopsticks. Overall great service. The ambiance was great as well, though there wasn’t LOADS of seating. The interior was very nice with lots of decorations and on the inside you could see a lot of the action happening which was cool.
The food itself was GREAT. I got the Unagi Donburi which was an eel dish. The dish came with a bomb unagi sauce that tasted a little like a zesty thicker teriyaki which complemented the fattiness of the eel amazingly. The dish was the perfect portion for me to finish in the restaraunt and be full. The dish also interestingly came with some orange savory fish roe that popped. The eel was SO tasty. It was a little fatty and very tender with no overfishy taste emanating. It was overall an amazing dish that came with lots of rice. The dessert was a little less appetizing. We got strawberry and mango mochi which was ok. It tasted like one of the Trader Joe’s mochi, but the presentation was beautiful and the price wasn’t exorbitant.
Overall Joy Sushi is a must try it provides plenty of good sushi and other entrees like my unagi donburi if sushi isn’t your thing. If you are ever in Mountain View make sure to come to Joy Sushi to enjoy the delicious food, familial service, great interior, and affordable dishes.
Vegetarian options: There are a decent amount of veggie sushi options listed separately on the menu!“
