Go for the Ararat kebab plate- it has everything and is plenty food for 2 people. Excellent baklava to top the feast off. Wish I had saved space to try their soup, which just about every table had ordered. Next time.“

“Fabulous experience! My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful Valentine's dinner at Presidio Kebab. My wife tried the Yakut red wine from Turkey that was a little sweet and very good. We started with some Greek fries and Baba Ghanosh that were tasty. My wife enjoyed the lentil soup and a Greek Salad. We recommend asking for extra lemon vinaigrette dressing on the side for extra flavor. I had the steak kebab medium and it was prepared perfectly. The service was stellar, friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back:)“

“This Turkish restaurant is outstanding in all aspects! Our dinner consisted of the Meze Combo, which is an excellent selection of their fabulous appetizers, the Lamb Shish Kebab, with lamb that was cooked to perfection, and the Adana Kebab, which was a fine mixture of lamb and beef in a slightly spicy combination. The waiter was very polite and extremely friendly and welcoming, and very attentive to our needs. We thoroughly appreciated his recommendation of the baklava to compliment the excellent meal we had. It had just the right amount of sweetness and a wonderful blend of walnuts and spices. Due to the meal being so exceptional, we came back the next morning for an outstanding breakfast!!! We had the Menemen (Shaksouka) and the American Breakfast. And finished it off with a bowl of their Sutlac - the creamy rice pudding! Delicious indeed! Great waitstaff at both meals! We highly recommend Zevi Cafe!!!“

“This place was amazing. The food was fresh, airy and packed with flavor. The restaurant was open and had many unique tables to sit. The service was fast and we received all of our food in under 10 minutes. I ordered the beef kabob platter and it was great. The beef was very tender, I could pull it apart with my hands and it was very flavorful and paired with everything very well. The side cucumber salad was very aromatic and tangy and paired contrasted well with the rice and bread. I put everything in the pita bread and it was amazing. You could tell everything was made freshly with good ingredients. The pita chips were so good, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Perfect. The staff were kind and served us very fast. This place needs more hype it’s so good.“

“Charming mom and Pop place with good prices. We couldn’t believe how big the wraps were and they were absolutely delicious. Like I was in SHOCK! First wrap I really liked since moving to SF.
We got the deluxe wraps, chicken and beef. Both were great. You can tell they take the time to do things right and they even make sure to grill the outside of the wraps. And we loved the french fries and eggplant inside of it! What a fun touch.“

I ordered the shaksuka, which tasted great, but I didn't feel full afterwards. My friend ordered a brunch plate with eggs, lamb, salad, and potatoes and it was quite ample and delicious. I think I'll get that the next time I go there. This was my first time to this venue, and I definitely want to go back.“

Now that I occasionally work in SF, I was please to find a Sajj just a block away. Love that the food is fresh and bonus that it is full of flavor. “We ordered the house combo and it was very tasty. It came with 4 meats(chicken,beef,gyro ,koftedes). All of the meat was juicy,tender and well seasoned. The rice. was fluffy ans delicious. “I smelled it before I got there no always looking for “the right food cooked by the right people!” I had a bowl with chicken which I could cut with a the plastic spoon 😍 with rice and lentils very flavorful too with the Israel salad all that flavor in one bowl was the best by far! My friend who’s vegan was very satisfied had a falafel bowl which she started eating as we walked down the street! She had smashed it by the time we made to the tables at Union Square. The food delicious the portions huge and the price right! On another note when we arrived they were out of rice and of course they made me some fresh very much appreciated ❤️“

“I am always a little cautious around so-called "Greek" restaurants, as some of them are not very Greek. Souvla does a great job of capturing Greek cuisine with a California twist. Our meals came out quickly and were delicious! I also appreciated the small, outside dining area in the back.“

“Our party of four came on a Wednesday evening at 7:30pm. Neighborhood parking is a bit challenging due to the popularity of the area with all the businesses there, but we found a 2 hr. spot (enforced until 9pm) after a couple loops. We ordered the house sampler plate, shish kabob, beet salad, the zahara bil tahini (cauliflower), halloumi, chicken shawarma, and for dessert, we had kanafeh, qatayef, halawa o buza. Everything, including the complimentary Palestinian dips with pita chips, was absolutely delicious- fresh and beautifully presented. It was hard to pick a favorite but I really liked the cauliflower! Two members of my party ordered a mocktail called Cinderella, and they were raving about it. The food was so good that we forgot to take pictures; we were too excited. I did remember while we were waiting for dessert, so there is one dessert picture in this review.

Our server, Lina, was attentive and very kind, and the other servers and staff were also very nice, professional, and polite. It was obvious that the staff wanted us to have a wonderful evening and we truly did. It is a very welcoming restaurant with lovely decor, excellent food and nice people. We can’t wait to come back and try more items!“

I once had a blueberry yogurt gelato in Las Vegas that was the best gelato I’ve ever had, and I’ve been trying to find something similar in the Bay Area ever since but never succeeded. The frozen yogurt here is the closest I’ve ever had to that flavor! I really hope they’ll offer a blueberry frozen yogurt one day.“
