“Last year, during my first visit to San Francisco, I discovered this restaurant and absolutely loved it. Now I’m back in San Francisco for the second time, and on my very first day in town, I knew I had to come back here.

The food is incredibly delicious! I was so excited to start eating that I completely forgot to take a picture of the chicken soup, but I did manage to get photos of the İskender and the dessert. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and just as amazing as I remembered.

“The food looked and tasted great except for the chicken in my chicken doner salad and my daughter’s chicken tovuk doner plate. It looked weird and tasted weird. My other daughter got the tovuk shish kabob and was pleased with it. We also really liked the sigara boregi appetizer! The tzatziki was absolutely delicious! Service was wonderful! Very attentive and gave us tzatziki, pita and baklava on the house. We were treated very well, as were the other diners.“

“I had the opportunity to enjoy their food at a recent pop-up restaurant put on by La cucina in San Francisco! their cuisine is Algerian and very delicious! I have never had the chance to experience this particular cuisine and now I cannot wait until they open the Municipal Marketplace in San Francisco's tenderloin neighborhood! expected to open in July, KAYMA will be one of the stalls featured there. absolutely every morsel I tried at that dinner was delicious but they're brined black olives were incredible! hoping they will have them available in jars to take home!“

“Karam is a great addition to Polk St. I enjoyed dining in on a week night. The staff are very sweet and attentive.
I ordered the chicken shish taouk plate as well as the humus bayrooty. I was blown away by both. The food is exceptionally flavorful. Chicken was grilled to perfection. And the extra garlic dip and spicy sauce is the cherry on top. I can't wait to be back!“

“I really enjoy coming here. The food is always delicious, the atmosphere is great, and it’s one of my favorite places to have dinner.

My only suggestion would be about the music volume. During dinner, the music is often much louder than it needs to be, making it difficult to have a normal conversation without raising your voice. I think a more comfortable volume earlier in the evening would create a much better dining experience, allowing guests to enjoy both the music and their conversations.

If you want to turn up the energy later in the night, around 10:30 PM or after dinner service, louder music makes perfect sense. But during dinner hours, a lower volume would make this place even better.

Ask them to go light on the salt and olive oil as it can be a bit too salty because of the big flakes of salt. Ended up with a bit puddle of olive oil at the bottom but didn't mind that as much since the oil was high quality and had a robust aromatic flavor. Highly recommend to try the frozen yogurt if you stop by.“

Of course they accept credit cards here and Apple Pay. Location is very centrally located in San San Francisco Francisco. I would definitely recommend this location to friends and family.“
