Go for the Ararat kebab plate- it has everything and is plenty food for 2 people. Excellent baklava to top the feast off. Wish I had saved space to try their soup, which just about every table had ordered. Next time.“

“Fabulous experience! My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful Valentine's dinner at Presidio Kebab. My wife tried the Yakut red wine from Turkey that was a little sweet and very good. We started with some Greek fries and Baba Ghanosh that were tasty. My wife enjoyed the lentil soup and a Greek Salad. We recommend asking for extra lemon vinaigrette dressing on the side for extra flavor. I had the steak kebab medium and it was prepared perfectly. The service was stellar, friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back:)“

“This Turkish restaurant is outstanding in all aspects! Our dinner consisted of the Meze Combo, which is an excellent selection of their fabulous appetizers, the Lamb Shish Kebab, with lamb that was cooked to perfection, and the Adana Kebab, which was a fine mixture of lamb and beef in a slightly spicy combination. The waiter was very polite and extremely friendly and welcoming, and very attentive to our needs. We thoroughly appreciated his recommendation of the baklava to compliment the excellent meal we had. It had just the right amount of sweetness and a wonderful blend of walnuts and spices. Due to the meal being so exceptional, we came back the next morning for an outstanding breakfast!!! We had the Menemen (Shaksouka) and the American Breakfast. And finished it off with a bowl of their Sutlac - the creamy rice pudding! Delicious indeed! Great waitstaff at both meals! “This place was amazing. The food was fresh, airy and packed with flavor. The restaurant was open and had many unique tables to sit. The service was fast and we received all of our food in under 10 minutes. I ordered the beef kabob platter and it was great. The beef was very tender, I could pull it apart with my hands and it was very flavorful and paired with everything very well. The side cucumber salad was very aromatic and tangy and paired contrasted well with the rice and bread. I put everything in the pita bread and it was amazing. You could tell everything was made freshly with good ingredients. The pita chips were so good, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Perfect. The staff were kind and served us very fast. This place needs more hype it’s so good.“

“How did I not know about this place? I saw it pop up on Uber Eats (new to me) so I ordered the lamb and beef meatballs with rice, lightly pickled beats, tabouli and some included arugula. Faboo! It's very fresh and a very generous portion. The optional hot sauce is not to be skipped if you like a bit of heat.“

“Charming mom and Pop place with good prices. We couldn’t believe how big the wraps were and they were absolutely delicious. Like I was in SHOCK! First wrap I really liked since moving to SF.
We got the deluxe wraps, chicken and beef. Both were great. You can tell they take the time to do things right and they even make sure to grill the outside of the wraps. And we loved the french fries and eggplant inside of it! What a fun touch.“

I have never had the chance to experience this particular cuisine and now I cannot wait until they open the Municipal Marketplace in San Francisco's tenderloin neighborhood! expected to open in July, KAYMA will be one of the stalls featured there. absolutely every morsel I tried at that dinner was delicious but they're brined black olives were incredible! hoping they will have them available in jars to take home!“

“Food was delicious. Vibe was laid back. Acoustics (ability to hear my companion) were good, although the restaurant wasn't completely full at the time. I ordered the shaksuka, which tasted great, but I didn't feel full afterwards. My friend ordered a brunch plate with eggs, lamb, salad, and potatoes and it was quite ample and delicious. I think I'll get that the next time I go there. This was my first time to this venue, and I definitely want to go back.“

Now that I occasionally work in SF, I was please to find a Sajj just a block away. Love that the food is fresh and bonus that it is full of flavor. “I smelled it before I got there no always looking for “the right food cooked by the right people!” I had a bowl with chicken which I could cut with a the plastic spoon 😍 with rice and lentils very flavorful too with the Israel salad all that flavor in one bowl was the best by far! My friend who’s vegan was very satisfied had a falafel bowl which she started eating as we walked down the street! She had smashed it by the time we made to the tables at Union Square. The food delicious the portions huge and the price right! On another note when we arrived they were out of rice and of course they made me some fresh very much appreciated ❤️“

“Souvla was really really good. All the food was amazing. The salads were fresh and the feta you could tell was sprinkled on directly before they served it. The pita was soft. I would hope that it was easier to eat but other than that it was perfect. The food came really fast and when we got our Greek fries. They were very warm and you could tell they just came out of the fryer. The ranch was super good and if you stuffed the pita with any salad you get a bite of delicious comforting food. “We ordered the house combo and it was very tasty. It came with 4 meats(chicken,beef,gyro ,koftedes). All of the meat was juicy,tender and well seasoned. The rice. was fluffy ans delicious. The mixed green salad had tomatoes amd cucumber and was topped with a pickled cabbage and dressed to perfection. I only had a small bite of the pita because rhe meal was so filling. “Our party of four came on a Wednesday evening at 7:30pm. Neighborhood parking is a bit challenging due to the popularity of the area with all the businesses there, but we found a 2 hr. spot (enforced until 9pm) after a couple loops. We ordered the house sampler plate, shish kabob, beet salad, the zahara bil tahini (cauliflower), halloumi, chicken shawarma, and for dessert, we had kanafeh, qatayef, halawa o buza. Everything, including the complimentary Palestinian dips with pita chips, was absolutely delicious- fresh and beautifully presented. It was hard to pick a favorite but I really liked the cauliflower! Two members of my party ordered a mocktail called Cinderella, and they were raving about it. The food was so good that we forgot to take pictures; we were too excited. I did remember while we were waiting for dessert, so there is one dessert picture in this review.

Our server, Lina, was attentive and very kind, and the other servers and staff were also very nice, professional, and polite. It was obvious that the staff wanted us to have a wonderful evening and we truly did. It is a very welcoming restaurant with lovely decor, excellent food and nice people. We can’t wait to come back and try more items!“
