“The classic grilled fish in Liu’s secret flavor is very delicious, if you like something with more balance of numbing pepper flavor, sweetness and sourness.
The beef and lamb skewers are quite tasty too. They have good seasonings but not overwhelming, so you can still taste the flavor of meat.
Service is great. We come in on a rainy Monday if that counts“

“This has been our family’s favorite noodle place and we try to go at least a couple times monthly, so this review is definitely long overdue . Our kids love the chow mein, and we usually get the beef noodle soup and the tripe spicy noodles. Very Spicy but so good! They are usually busy but the tables move fast as service is quick and it doesn’t take long for the food to come out.“

“Recommended by a friend from Yunnan, China, who said this is the most authentic Yunnan restaurant she’s found in the U.S. so far. I ordered the Chinese donut with liver paste, the beef hot pot, and the noodles. Every dish was absolutely delicious!“

“Very authentic Lanzhou style ramen, the handmade noodles are chewy and the soup is delicious. Their large plate of chicken and grilled lamb chops are also must-order dishes every time. The boss is very nice. He often comes over to chat. Highly recommended!“

“It seemed like "mango everything." Cute dessert place. It will be fun to discover the many combinations of mango and other fruit they have. Ordered a mango crisp and mango with pomelo dessert. It is good to share, nice texture and flavor.“

“Everything is fine, what I don't like is that they only have one person cleaning, instead of having two people it's like today I came to the restaurant and saw one of those who work here and I just came and saw the dirty table and didn't even do it to help clean up, seeing that the restaurant is full, that's my opinion.“

“It's a very busy place on a Saturday night, so expect some waiting time. It's authentic and flavorful Xiang Chinese Hunan cuisine, not the typical oily American Chinese food. I would highly recommend this place. It's not too spicy and even my kids could eat all the different dishes that I ordered. So those who complained about the spiciness level definitely had zero tolerance towards spice. The food is very well flavored and appetizing. This place is for true foodies who are willing to try a cuisine which is different from their usual Chinese American food.“

“I wonder why this place only gets 3.8 stars? Service was quick and efficient, prices were reasonable, food was well seasoned and flavorful!
We weren’t here on a Tuesday night and seated right away. Waiter brings us tea and menu right away !
The daily specials were a great deal to order. A whole yellow chicken for $18.99! And It was very tasty.
The dry fried flat beef noodles is another good dish to order! We will love to come back again to try other dishes on the menu!
Parking: Free and big parking lots.“

“I came here with friends. The restaurant has modern informal decor with background music so it was a relaxed atmosphere. The food was tasty and the servers attentive (although the restaurant wasn’t full at the time we went). The server was very responsive to our questions, too. We had ordered: beef wrap, kung pao chicken, spicy beef cubes, pork soup buns, beef noodle soup and beef chow mein (this was the wet type) and we enjoyed all of them. Some of the dishes had some different ingredients than what I expected. For instance tripe in the soup (not a bad thing for me). Go with a group and try different dishes! 20% tip was added for party of six.“

“They offer a great variety of pastries, focusing on northern Chinese-style baked goods. Their prices are reasonable, especially for my favorite dumplings. They often have additional promotions.
Parking: It's at a huge plaza. There are plenty parking spaces.“

“Salted meat and rice dishes are very delicious, sweet and sour pork ribs are also delicious, and crabs are also delicious. Squirrel grouper has a beautiful appearance and a good taste, but it is not suitable for takeout because it is not crispy,“

“Call an hour ahead of time for reserving a roasted duck. The service is pretty good and the place is fantastic. The only thing is that the sauce was not as tasty as I expected so I live one star blank and hopefully next time when I pay a visit it will be better.“

“This is delicious! I really like eating rattan pepper fish. It would be better if the potato shreds were more sour and spicy. The pot-roasted pork is also delicious, but I don’t eat fried food very much. If I eat one piece, it will be almost the same. Overall, the service was great, the food was great, a bit pricey but fresh, will definitely go back.“

“If you’re in the Bay Area, Yuan Bistro is a must-try for traditional Northeastern Chinese dishes! The Guo Bao Rou is freshly fried with a perfect balance of sweet and sour, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The Suan Cai Yu is tangy and fresh, with black fish, tofu, and vermicelli in a delicious broth. Highly recommend the sweet potato leaves and spicy chicken cartilage too. Authentic and delicious!“

“I would like to start by saying, this was some of the best Chinese food my family and I have ever had. The service was not the greatest. When I walked in, nobody helped me for about five minutes. Someone walked out from the kitchen to help me with my pick up order, it was scheduled for 5:25pm. The person that helped me said, “it’ll be right out.” I had to wait fifteen minutes for an order I placed online, ahead of time. The saving grace, was the food. Everything was packed with flavor!“

“Good fried chicken wings. Salt pepper fish is also good but with a little too much batter. Hot and delicious made to order to go place. Cash only. Many party tray choices.
Parking: Maybe hard to find during dinner hours. Some spots are extremely narrow.“

“Wouldn't recommend the Beijing duck, everything else is authentic and tastes great tho.Other Beijing dishes are really tasty, overall a bit salty so you gotta balance it out. The Beijing duck on the other hand is just ok, which shouldn't happen cos that's the thing Beijing is known for.Overall still a great a place to get proper Beijing food, price and value is great as well.“

“Great malatang place. Quick and easy as well. When you walk in when busy they will tell you if a table is free and give you number. Then you can just fill up a bowl of food from the bar. Everything from veggies, noodles, meats, fish, balls and most things you can find at a hot pot place.
I like the normal broth one medium spicy. It’s not crazy spice so you can easily get spicy without issue. The dry pot is good but a little too sweet with the peanut sauce they put in. Prices are good and it’s a nice place. I like to come here a lot.“
