“A gem in the city of Monrovia. It’s in a small plaza next to a laundromat, near a liquor store and across from another taco stand—this taco stand across the way doesn’t serve fish tacos. This place has a good variety on their menu, but the prized item is their fish tacos. Quite tasty and delicious with green or red (for the more spicy palettes) salsa. A good place to stop off for a snack or meal. Great and friendly service, especially from Mario.“

“This place was had the best Micheladas I ever tasted. My Mixed Ceviche was top tier I asked for no shrimp so they added extra fish … it was a fish and Octopus ceviche. The waitress kept checking on us. I recommend this place if ur in the SGV it’s close to the freeway (210) a hole in the wall that gives high maintenance and caliber restaurants a run for their money. Top 10 hands down!!!“

We came to play from AZ and were recommended by relatives and friends to try it out.
Shacha water spinach and mutton is simply the taste that I miss in my memory
The scallion chicken is super tender, the oyster cakes are also delicious, and the kids love the sausages.
But the shredded ginger intestine is not sour enough, and the intestine is a bit too soft after cooking.
What’s even more touching is that if you spend $30 or more, you’ll get a free Taiwanese beer!
It’s just a quick-service restaurant!

“Very authentic and delicious Sichuan restaurant. The sauerkraut fish is their specialty and definitely worth trying. The portions are quite big, we were able to share the single sauerkraut fish dish between two people. You order on your phone and they bring out the food, and all of the utensils and napkins are in a little drawer at your table. Very clean interior and the staff are always ready to assist when needed. They also have fortune sticks which are fun.“

“The food was excellent. The food far surpasses the service. Let's begin with the Buffalo shrimp, which were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. An excellent take on wings seafood style. The seafood caldon especal was full of flavor, perfectly spices even though it has jalapeño in it bring back a sense of being on the beach. The Capechana was high quality and the delicious. The chef not only an excellent cook but took part of the service. The Michelada base alone is memorable and wanted to buy a gallon of it. The waitress was professional but needs to elevate her service skills, one attention to the client was very slow, there was no effort to explain the menu, little initiative to attend out table.“

I've been here twice and have tried the fresh shrimp and tofu spring rolls with terrific accompanying sauce, flavorful chicken fried rice, shrimp pho with delicious broth, and the lovely Lychee fruit tea! Yum! Totally coming here again... and bringing more friends. Mangosteen has a clean, modern atmosphere, primarily indoors with a couple of outdoor tables. Friendly and helpful customer service.“

I ordered for 2 people, 1000 year pork, crispy fried shrimp, stir fried clams with ginger sauce and Kung Pao scallops. The 1000 year pork was a little chewy, normally it should melt in your mouth. The ginger clams and scallops had no flavor at all, we had to spice it up ourselves. It tasted like it was just boiled in water. The steam rice was soggy and looks like it’s been steamed way too long. The only thing I enjoyed was my hot tea. The waiter never checked on us at his own. We had to whistle him down. Maybe their food and services at night is a better hit. All I know is that I had good dining experience with them in the past. But today. It really sucked!“

“One of the best garlic fish in LA County, Orange, Riverside, etc…. Delicious flavor and great size. Accompanied by salad and French fries; There is an option of beans and rice too. The place is very clean and tidy. The menu options are spectacular and I will surely return to try more. The service is very good too. The music was very loud and I asked if they could lower the volume and they very kindly did so. I was able to eat in peace. Thank you.“

It didn't need the chicken. The best was the ribeye melt. The meat was cooked perfectly.The sourdough was crusted with parmesan. With a side of horseradish that was perfectly paired for this sandwich.“
