“I came to Monterey for a self care day and decided to check out this cute little cafe =) I am happy I stayed through the longer line. I expected that meant good food. And it sure was. I noticed it was a one man show. He was super sweet to gifting us free bakalavas for the wait time. I lovedddddd the walnut and the apple cinnamon. I ended up buying 20 pieces for my drive home! I got the falafel and baba plate with the spicy lemonade. It was super tasty. What I love about his one man show, is the dedication to this place, his love of food. Excellent Southwest eggs Benedict; chicken fettuccini; fruit salad and Cinnamon toast special with eggs. Chocolate Oreo cake for dessert. Excellent service for a relaxing Sunday. “Yum!!! We came for the burgers and they were delicious! We tried the Fiesta and Terikayi Mushroom burgers as well as the stuffed tater tots! So yummy all around! The burgers tasted so fresh and they were huge! It's a small place but very kind people and seems like a lot of people are regulars, don't blame them at all! Yum!“

“Crystal Fish is my go-to when I want good value and tasty sushi. The setting isn't overly fancy but neither are their prices.

I took a star off of service because the last to-go order had a mistaken roll. I still enjoyed it. I've also seen mistakes on the bill when I ate in-house. Nothing egregious but I now double check.

“We have been going to Heirloom Pizza a few times a year for a while now and have always enjoyed great food and good service. This was until last night. The food was still delicious and the server was good. That was the limit of a good experience. The hostess had a look that we were bothering her by wanting to eat there. We arrived about 7pm and they were busy, but it only took about 10 minutes to be seated. We ordered fairly quickly and then waited for over 50 minutes to have an appetizer to reach our table and another 25 minutes for our main dish. By the time we received our appetizer the restaurant had only 5-6 tables with people still sitting. We understand that it takes a little longer for a deep dish pizza, but well over an hour in unacceptable. In the 50 minutes we saw no less than a dozen or so orders go out the door for pickup orders. I understand they sell pizza and there is likely a large amount of business that doesn't come an stay to eat, but we felt forgotten. If we choose to go back, maybe we should order before arriving.“

“I've lived in the area a while now and finally found this great winery tasting room! The staff was super friendly and the wines were very good. I especially liked the Pinot Noir, I have a weakness for a good Central Coast Pinot! I also enjoyed the Grenache and Barbera. I had the Sur mushroom burger, absolutely delicious. Another in our party got the Phoenix Chicken Sandwich, incredibly spicy and yummy with a family recipe of hot coleslaw that was amazing, but definitely not for an amateur palette.
