“This was the best restaurant I never ate in. Lemme explain. My superwonderul-one-in-a-million friend is in Monterey visiting her sister and bro-in-law there. (Actually they live in Chico, CA but they drove down to Monterey for the weekend.) So, says I, "Why not try Sardine Factory? (I live in Albuquerque, but hey, Diana is my superwonderul-one-in-a-million friend...oops, I already said that... and she is in CA, visiting from Albuquerque). So I called Sardine Factory and spoke to Mary and she took my credit card number and the rest is history. THANK YOU MARY! Diana, my friend, said it was a "10." "Staff was fantatic."in the Conservatory. "The waiter tied a bib" on her. The best meal I ever had... from 1,00 miles away. Mary, you are the sweetest person in the world! But Diana loved it, and that what matters the most. Oh, she had cioppino (see photo) and her sister had "delicious" seafood pasta and her bro in law had sea bass ("very good"). So Mary, and Sardine Factory, you made people very happy this evening. But that is what you do. God bless.“

“Being an old-ish Army Vet, I had to try the SOS, as it was the go to breakfast in the 80's Army. I was not disappointed with the flavor or the memories! Great, efficient servers, service and food. 12 stars outta 10 stars! (When the VA appointments send me this way again, I'll definitely be getting my breakfast here!)“

“Oh Alvarado Street Brewery, I love you. This is my favorite brewery at the moment, I enjoy most of their beer offerings. The patio out back is nice and they have a TV with the game on but it can be difficult to get a spot. The wait isn't completely terrible, for dinner we managed to get seated fairly quickly and for lunch we sat at the bar. I had their beet salad and split a pizza with my brother. The beet salad was great and the pizza was OK. For dinner it was packed and a little loud so it was kind of difficult to talk. We ended up coming back the next day after golf for some beers and their burger which was delicious. Great spot if you enjoy their beers.“

“I just want to say absolutely delicious food! I usually always back myself out of ordering new things but I decided to order this noodle soup with things I thought I’d like. When the soup arrived and I tried it, it was DELICIOUS! Our appetizer of fried vegetables w/shrimp was absolutely delicious. Both sushi rolls we ordered were great! Usually California rolls can be more on the basic side and have less of an enhancing flavor but they did such a great job with the seasonings and toppings! I was very happy with my meal. We were visiting out of town and I said we had to stop by!
It does it get packed, we went about 6 o clock and we had to wait outside for seating for like 15 minutes. Then we go seated and our food came in roughly 15 minutes as well. My food didn’t come out at the same time as my partners as I had hoped, so we just waited.

Overall, the staff was friendly and most importantly the food was delicious. Would 100% recommend to family and friends!“

“I came here very hungry and lefy quite satisfied. The owner was very personable, friendly and helpful in choosing from among the many delicious options. I chose a combo plate because i want them all. The chicken was amazing and the gyro was flavorful. The outdoor seating was cramped but the lights added ambiance. This place is worth a try.“

And my salad was the perfect size to complement the large portion of the hot Turkey. I added a little Tabasco cause that what I do. I thought I was finished until the little waitress offered dessert 🍨. I ordered a piece of their home made apple 🍎 pie 🎉🎊😱. People let me tell you this is a bucket lister. With out a doubt the best apple pie I have ever had. And yes they make it from scratch. Great lunch experience today ! I ordered a piece of pie for a friend who is not feeling well and dropped it off to her. Thanks Victorian Corner for such a pleasant atmosphere to have my lunch 🙏.“

“Excellent spot for affordable eats. We ordered chips, salsa and guacamole for starters. Then we all had burritos. Cali Fries, the Surf & Turf and the Street Carne Asada Burrito. Everything was hot and fresh, tortillas are homemade and fresh also. Highly recommend and will be stopping by again.“

My husband got the Philly Cheese Steak also so delicious! We had forgotten to ask for our appetizer but the bar tender was more then happy to bring it to us after we got our food. “You know this place is authentic when you see all the Chinese people eating here for Chinese New Year’s! The owners are so sweet and the food is authentic. I wanted fish for the holiday and she made sure we got the right kind for good luck. She took the time to understand what I was looking for and made such delicious food. I really felt like I was back at home at this restaurant. The owner spoke both Cantonese and Mandarin too, which was so lovely. It’s hard to find an authentic Chinese atmosphere like this on the peninsula. Good vibes. Highly recommend.“
