They serve a wide variety of colourful, delicious meals. We enjoy being off the main thoroughfare and tucked away here. The service has always been very friendly and welcoming .“

I had the Mango 🥭 Avocado 🥑 Shrimp 🍤 Ceviche it was like an explosion of flavors in my mouth, I couldn’t stop eating it. Great tacos 🌮 everything was beyond my expectations. “I really loved the Lao Special menu. You can order small portion of diverse foods. I ordered several items I have never eaten before, and they were all fantastic. The fermented pork sausage was the most "out there" dish from an American point of view: I didn't even know such a thing existed. Nice interior, and the service is great. This is some of the best Laotian food I've tried in the Bay. It turns out the portions are pretty generous, so I took soke home for another meal.“

“Cute little restaurant. We ordered cucumber salad, bbq chicken set and bbq char siu set. Everything tastes so good. Very very high food quality. A lot of flavors. The spicy and numbing cucumber salad is the BEST I have had in the US. Not exaggerating.

It’s counter service and they have discounts for cash. Staff is very friendly. Great neighborhood restaurant for everyday eats. Would come back again when we are in Berkeley next time.“

“This is one of the best restaurants I have been to in a while. Their outdoor sitting in a quiet bylane is especially enchanting! All of the entrées we ordered were really delicious, but we especially loved their house fries and their potato leek soup, served in shot glasses. We are already looking forward to our next visit!“

“The food was good but a little overpriced.
We had the pork carnitas they were well done cooked, the fish tacos were humongous and we add an extra one for $6 , they were ok. The chips salsa and guacamole were very tasty and delicious (highly recommended), for cocktails we had the Tepache con Tiki and a Vampiro, we were not impressed, I think they still need to work on their cocktails. We also had the Pot De Creme for dessert and it was very tasty
We will definitely go back to try a couple of dishes and other drinks“

I think the tables were slightly close to each other, creating an intimate environment but also easier to hear others talk. The Apple Fritter was great but the filling in the bar had an aftertaste that I wasn’t a fan of and the chocolate topping started melting off faster than I expected. The maple glazed old fashioned was super yummy and I think that’s what I’ll get when I go back. The people who ate the vegan ones were very pleased that they had them and really enjoyed the flavors. They also have a great variety of drinks and coffee.“
