“Mr. Sun’s Boba has been my FAVORITE café in the Bay Area since December 2023. I love Mr. Sun Tea because (1) the ambiance is welcoming and perfect for both reading and working (2) the boba is healthy. The tapioca pearls are made FRESH in-house daily, without any chemicals or artificial additives.

I would like my Hazelnut milk tea with stronger tea flavor and my husband’s Dark Plum smoothie to be slightly sweeter at 50% sweet. Not too many sweetness levels in some drinks - it’s either 100% or 50%, prices more reasonable than other boba places.“

“So many tea shops but none with the taste of OMG Tea. They live up to the name and I drive out of the way to take some. Thick, colorful, full, natural taste and reasonable prices! I try other places but those taste artificial (maybe something powdered and cheap from online) watered down and used weird milk (probably powdered too lol) . So why waste money trying too many places. (I did try to find places closer but to no avail.) So I just go to where they do it right. They have a wide variety of drinks and toppings, as well as games and seating inside. Lately green milk teas with boba have been my go to and they really have been giving me a caffeine boost and keeping me awake when I need it. So I got their Signature Alpine Green Milk Tea with boba, less sweet with less sugar. I really enjoyed it. The workers were very kind, quick, and friendly. Nice spot to hang out with friends, I also like how they post their top drinks on the menu and the walls. My friends got some other drinks that were also really good. Something with egg pudding and red bean. Parking is super easy since it’ located within a shopping plaza.“

I recently visited Tapioca Express for the first time and had an amazing chicken wrap paired with an avocado smoothie. The staff was friendly and ensured my smoothie had less ice, making it perfectly refreshing. On another visit, I tried the wrap again—it was just as great—but the chicken popcorn wasn’t very impressive. We also tried a few other drinks, which were quite good.
