“I stopped in after grabbing a meal nearby, looking for any boba in the recent heatwave.
Let me tell you, I was in for a surprise and I didn't even know it.
Upon entering I was greeted by a comfortable and clean atmosphere and good music. To my surprise, just behind the glass on the counter was a worker actively making the fresh boba pearls!
Ordering the drinks went nicely and they had a very good selection of teas and flavors.
I opted for the simple and classic Brown Sugar Boba w/Fresh Milk, and it was one of cleanest, smoothest boba drinks I've ever had.
The owner was on site and she was very kind and generous by answering any questions and letting us sample her freshly made boba. She showed such passion for her craft and the business and it shows in the quality of the product provided.
The fresh boba she let me sample was absolutely delightful and had a flavor unlike any of the typical tapioca boba pearls you would find at your average boba shop.

Definitely suggest coming to Mr. Sun Tea and trying out their boba. A simple review can't begin to show the difference in taste and quality.

They have six locations in total and I will be visiting them regularly from now on. Officially my go-to boba spot.“

“A delightful find in Mountain View - local favorite boba place that has won Best of Mountain View awards several years in a row. Bobas are super soft and chewy! I would like my Hazelnut milk tea with stronger tea flavor and my husband’s Dark Plum smoothie to be slightly sweeter at 50% sweet. Not too many sweetness levels in some drinks - it’s either 100% or 50%, prices more reasonable than other boba places.“

“Really small interior with two ordering kiosks - definitely a place for take-out only and they put up signs stating that. Their Black Milk Tea w/ boba was surprisingly solid for a place that doesn't appear to focus on milk tea boba. Their pandan mochi-waffle was not bad - had a hint of sweetness and pandan flavor. Great light crunchy exterior followed by the chewy mochi texture. Will def come back here for their milk tea and to try their other mochi-waffle flavors.“

“Consider this a 3.5. The boba was off but good, the taste really, it was chewy and firm. The tea was good (I got less sweet but regular would have been fine as someone who likes little to no sugar in tea. The staff were very friendly and upfront. There was a reasonable amount of ice in the drink. The price was average.“

“If you like matcha latte, you ought to try this place. Their matcha latte reminds me of the super strong matcha ice cream I had at a well known tea house at Kyoto. I can tell they use premium quality of matcha powder to make their drinks. I usually order matcha latte with extra shot, 50% sweetness.“

“We stopped by on a busy Saturday evening and ordered the coconut breeze and the mango mochi coconut pudding. I like how both items taste fresh and not too sweet. The mango is ripe and sweet. The drink had a lot of textures and is well balanced.“

“The cups at this place is the main appeal with them giving you glass cups that you can keep. They also sold their own cups with anime related art on them. The drinks themselves were ok. But there wasn't much space to sit and do work, with not much outlets and the counter was a little dirty. There were also some boxes visible which made it looks a little messy.“

I ordered the strawberry green tea with boba. Tea flavor was ok, but boba was a bit inconsistent.

Overall, ok spot. Would be open to trying it again to see if it was a one-off issue.

“If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. Hands down the best boba/tea place in the area. Not only do they have amazing tea with awesome predetermined combinations for people (like me) who have no idea what they want but know the flavor combinations they like, but they also had a tea of the day out which was so tasty I ended up getting. (Green apple, passion fruit, mango)
I was feeling extra saucy and decided to try their Neapolitan which I can’t remember the name of but it’s on their favorites and it says in the description it tastes like a Neapolitan ice cream and no lie, it does. It’s amazing. My new favorite place. Normally I don’t leave reviews but this is totally worth the review, will definitely visit again, super friendly staff and fast service. Thank you!!!“

The only thing I wish they were more flexible about is customizing the ice. I usually order one extra drink with no ice, since want to save it for my long drive back to LA. understand that the drinks are made according to their set formula, so the liquid doesn't fill the cup all the way, but they still don't offer a no-ice option. “So many tea shops but none with the taste of OMG Tea. They live up to the name and I drive out of the way to take some. Thick, colorful, full, natural taste and reasonable prices! I try other places but those taste artificial (maybe something powdered and cheap from online) watered down and used weird milk (probably powdered too lol) . So why waste money trying too many places. (I did try to find places closer but to no avail.) So I just go to where they do it right. They have a wide variety of drinks and toppings, as well as games and seating inside. Lately green milk teas with boba have been my go to and they really have been giving me a caffeine boost and keeping me awake when I need it. So I got their Signature Alpine Green Milk Tea with boba, less sweet with less sugar. I really enjoyed it. The workers were very kind, quick, and friendly. Nice spot to hang out with friends, I also like how they post their top drinks on the menu and the walls. My friends got some other drinks that were also really good. Something with egg pudding and red bean. Parking is super easy since it’ located within a shopping plaza.“

We had such a wonderful experience here! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and inviting. Not only did we get to enjoy some of the best drinks we’ve had in a long time, but we also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was incredibly kind, hospitable, and passionate about what they do.

We tried a variety of drinks, and each one was fantastic in its own way—refreshing, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients and care. You can really tell that thought and creativity go into each recipe. Every sip left us impressed and already talking about which ones we want to try on our next visit.

What made the experience even more special was the genuine hospitality. The owner took the time to chat with us, share some background on the drinks, and make sure we felt right at home. It’s rare to find that level of connection and pride in both the product and the people who walk through the door, but this place has it in spades.

“I ordered three things - a oolong-peach tea, brown milk boba tea, and brown milk with boba (not tea). Of these three, two orders were wrong.

They forgot to put boba in the brown milk w/boba. This was not as bad as what they did with the oolong peach tea.

First they said they do not have oolong-peach tea, so they will make green-peach, to which I agreed. When they gave it to me they told me by mistake that it was Jasmine, while the order slip said green. When I mentioned that, they lied and said it was green tea. When I tasted it it was jasmine.

To their credit they did offer to amend all their mistakes.“
