“Stopped by Hunan Szechuan Cuisine recently and had a great experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and had that perfect Szechuan “ma-la” kick without being overwhelming. Portions were generous, everything came out hot, and the service was friendly and attentive. If you like bold, spicy Chinese dishes, this place is absolutely worth a visit—I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu.“

“Handmade noodles and dumpling. Best siu Mai in the south bay. Everything we ate was very tasty. You cant beat the prices. My new favorite dumpling and handmade noodle get away. Check it out. You won't be disappointed. Beef noodle is on point if you cant decide where to start“

“One of the best and most authentic noodle shops in Mountain View! The flavors are very traditional and really remind me of home — every bite brings back memories. What really stands out is how generous they are with the meats, definitely more than most Chinese noodle places I’ve been to. Everything is legit and absolutely delicious. The service is fast, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended if you’re looking for real, comforting Chinese noodles!“

“A good Chinese restaurant with above average food. We tried the cabbage and pork boiled dumplings, the steamed pork soup dumplings, and the pan fried pork soup dumplings. The pan fried soup dumplings were the best – good flavor, crispy bottoms, and juicy soup inside. The boiled dumplings were only okay. I thought the pork filling for the boiled dumplings was a bit musky, and I found a piece of gristle in one dumpling. The steamed pork soup dumplings could have used more soup but were otherwise fine. We also ordered a side of cucumber salad, which was decent overall but a bit salty and garlicky. The service was brisk and professional. They brought us rice for no extra charge – a nice touch. We thought the atmosphere was pleasant overall, with warm lights and plants.“

“Great shanghainese place. Get the pan fried pork buns 5/5 and the xiao long bao soup dumplings 5/5. The place is small so expect to wait a few minutes during lunch. If you are looking for dumplings and in Mountain View this is the place to try.“

“This is a solid dim sum place with good food overall. Prices were fair, except for the pan fried bao with translucent skins, which were way overpriced. We enjoyed the shrimp chang fen and the Chinese broccoli. The har gow had nice chewy skins, but the filling inside was only so-so. I was not a huge fan of the sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaves because the filling was made with ground meat instead of whole pieces. The staff were efficient and friendly. We enjoyed choosing our food from the roving dim sum carts. I ordered shou mei tea, which tasted fine.“

“Best vegan food in Palo Alto. I eat here as often as I can. FYI, it's cash only for smaller orders. Very highly recommended.“

“We held a reception at Kirin for 50 people and everyone was very pleased with the food and the service was very attentive. The lobster, soup, fish and scallops dishes were all very good.
My friends and I will certainly be coming back.“

“Great traditional Chinese food. You even get a traditional Chinese woman yelling at you. Lol
Although she’s not really yelling, their culture is to talk forcefully and it feels like they’re yelling at you. She was nice. 😆
Had the triple compound and it was delicious. Hot and spicy shrimp was also very good. Added the dinner combo with rice, egg roll, with hot and sour soup.“

“Little Sheep broke up their company and now there are various Happy Lambs under new ownership - some are not so good - this one is excellent and worth the trip - Id say its even better than rhe original Little Sheep on Stevens Creek which eventually turned into a Happy Lamb but was very sub-par and is now gone - stick with this one in Mt View. Avoid the ones in Boston (see my other review). Come off hours or you’ll be in line forever.“

“Food was great - piping hot and super tasty. I'm a big fan of orange chicken. Sadly the ambience was terrible - one member of staff was on their break and was sat in the middle of the restaurant watching videos on their phone with the sound blasting. As there was also music playing in the restaurant it made for a horrendous noise.“

“Zhangliang Malatang is easily one of my favourites. I love the variety and the whole concept. The best part is that you don’t have to cook your food yourself like other hot pot places.
One bowl is actually more than enough for one person. My husband and I often share a single bowl and we're usually completely full and satisfied. They also have dry pot options, which is a big plus.
If you enjoy hot pots, you’ll love this cuisine. Definitely a must try and already a new favourite.“

“It's an older (almost hole in wall) type restaurant
I think it totally depends on what you order some things are solid (4 stars) and others are a bit lower
For example, I had kung pao, 3.5 before. Most of the dishes are 3-4 stars. Mongolian beef 3.5
Pork chop bento 3.75 stars
Today 10/2/25
We had beef stew and tendon 3.75 stars
The meat was really good but the broth, to me was ok. I have eaten at other Taiwanese beef noodle places. I just think their broth is better. It is very authentic but the flavor profile is not as tasty to me as other places
The general chicken was good solid 4 stars
Haven't had dim sum or weekend specials
Small place not too many tables 10 inside and 9 small two seaters patio outside“

“We had the kung pao VG chicken and orange peel VG steak. Both items were great - special mention for the latter! Been here a few times over the years and been generally happy with the food. The service was the fastest I can remember in a long time. The interiors were quite cozy without being fancy, and the soft music in the background made for a friendly, easygoing vibe that you'd hope for from a business in your neighborhood.“
