“Good, service was excellent. But we were upset about extra charge we didn't know for what, I think a 4% surcharge. Didn't know about it until we got the check. Bad anyway , but really not acceptable with a restaurant week fixed price meal. Should not have been charged that free, or should have been disclosed when we made reservations“
“I highly recommend this restaurant - - the food is delicious. Flavors are amazing. Everything is fresh creative and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is next level. Scott from Chicago was well informed professional, friendly and happy to help me navigate safe, Gluten Free options. The gluten-free wood-fired pita was better than any pita I had before I was diagnosed with Celiac. Highly recommend.“
“Finally! When I first came to San Diego I was recommended this place for its ambience, cocktails and food! All were delicious and pleasing. It’s definitely worth it and such a cool place. Make a resy because this place stays booked and busy ?“
“Place is super cute and romantic! I came here with a friend but automatically felt cute first date vibes! Drinks were delicious and food amazing (I mean look at the plating of this food! Beautiful and taste is even better!) Service was also great and friendly! My friend and I did family style so we could try a bit of lots of things and honestly everything we tasted was delicious! Highly recommend especially as a first date or date night“
“Spectacular experience. The ambiance is intimate, unique, and the food is fantastic. I was so impressed with David who helped us choose some wonderful dishes, including the special of the night. It was clear every single person we encountered was the height of professionalism. Our meal was the highlight of our evening, every last bite delicious.“
“The Henry in Coronado serves up a breakfast experience that's as delightful as a morning on the beach, marked by its exceptional coffee and creative dishes. With a full barista service that crafts latte art you'll hesitate to sip, it sets the stage for a meal to remember. My ranchero dish was a flavorful nod to traditional chilaquiles, while my wife's Flower Child Scramble—a vibrant mix of roasted Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, and kale—showcased the kitchen's flair for transforming simple ingredients into a feast for the senses.“
“Our server Jessie totally made our day! So very kind and warm!! Her recommendations were spot on and we enjoyed everything we ordered - artichoke fritters, french onion soup, mussels & fries, lobster BLT, and fish catch of the day. Our favorites were artichoke fritters and lobster BLT. Corkage is reasonable at $25/bottle.“
“Casual breakfast spot offering breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and more. Sat out on their back patio which has plenty of covered seating. Awesome menu- ordered the fried chicken sandwich, biscuits and gravy, cinnamon roll biscuit, and orange juice.“
“Whether you are popping in for a glass of wine before shopping at Sepulveda next door or having dinner of their wonderful specials that change daily (check Instagram), you will enjoy your experience at Juan Jasper. Lots of lively conversations between the staff and patrons (while still being attentive), varied and upbeat music playing just loud enough in the background, and a direct view of the kitchen makes for a wonderful atmosphere. A small act of consideration and respect by a customer is rewarded by the generous proprietor. This is what service and dining should be. You can see why folks happily wait to get a seat at this local gem. Cannot recommend enough: great for lunch and dinner.“
“I had a croissant, some French Toast, and a latte here. I really liked the French Toast! It was covered with pine nuts, and was drenched in syrup (which I was kinda surprised by, since I thought the pine not coating was going to prevent the today from soaking up the syrup). The nuts added some nice texture, and the syrup was a good amount of sweet. It was kinda hard to cut into, so I just kind of had to bite into the toast slices (maybe that's intended, though). The croissant and the latte were decent; nothing too eye opening for them but they I liked them a decent amount (I think the croissant is maybe good, with something else that is more savory than what I got). Overall, I liked what I got, and am happy to go again!“
“Rutget exceeded all expectations! From the delightful drinks to the delectable food and vibrant atmosphere, every aspect was simply outstanding. Without a doubt, I'll eagerly return whenever I find myself in Fashion Valley. Highly recommended!"“
“Came here on a Saturday night a little after they opened. We asked for a table for 2, they asked if we had a reservation (we did not have one), and the hostess let us know that the bar area was available and it was happy hour. We took a seat at the bar and were helped right away! All of the staff were very friendly and informative when explaining each dish. The food was amazing and each dish had such great flavors! Expect to order at least 2 dishes for yourself since each dish is a small/medium portion and meant for sharing. My personal favorite was the Oxtail Raviolini (not pictured)! I would absolutely recommend this place and I'll 100% be back for more!“
“Thank you Mason for such great service while I Hosted our private event. It was fantastic. You want above and beyond to make sure everybody was accommodated. Excellent meal, the salmon was perfect! And a great drink selection. The chocolate cake dessert was fantastic. This restaurant has a super great vibe. An Awesome bar. On. Oh sides. When there’s jazz playing, it’s a lot of fun. Nice big long bar to sit at and have a drink. highly recommend if visiting the San Diego area.“
“Such a nice place with great service (Jessica, Julio and Christina went above and beyond!), tasty bites, delicious cocktails and beautiful design and ambience from day to night.I was here with a crew and shared oysters for happy hour, a mouth watering burger (and I don’t even eat red meat lol), Charred Caulilini and a Kanpachi fish dish — ALL of which were incredibly seasoned.Oh! the French fries are capable of shattering the discipline of a monk. Lol Yum!!!Bar dining and both outdoor and indoor dining all in separate sections but open with beautiful expansive windows connecting one area to another.Overall great experience! I will definitely come back!“
“A couple of weeks ago, we had our home tented for termites. As anyone knows, it's a lot of work. We didn't have a kitchen at our hotel, so we headed to JFAT's for dinner. It was great. Haley was our waitress, and she was friendly and efficient. I had the tavern bowl, and Dave had the fish and chips. They were both delicious. The best part was the wine Haley recommended! She suggested a bottle of Sycamore Hill cabernet. We'd never heard of it, and were a little skeptical. Haley was right; it was fabulous, and just what we needed. Thanks for taking care of us!“
“What a great brewery! The place itself is awesome, and I love all the maritime names they use for their beers ? I loved the flight I got, the best way to get to enjoy so many at once. I liked having the option of ordering both at the counter as well as from our table with the QR code. The airplanes give it a very authentic vibe ?“
“Great ambiance. We were there for brunch and there was a jazz band playing. The menu is small but well curated. The French press coffee was great. The vegetarian options were few but tasty. Full points for the service because they completely customized the food for one person in our party.“
“First experience at original HH was excellent. We told staff we were from Indiana and they immediately mentioned the owner's background and treated us like family. Delicious breakfast - sage chicken and eggs + meatloaf hash, delivered on flavor and volume (of course). Been to Vegas HH locations, definitely like this one better.“
“Me and my hubby have been driving by this place for a while and kept saying, we need to go there. We finally did it tonight and it was awesome! Angela was super friendly and made us feel welcomed. The food was amazing! We will definitely go back. It is a good place to unwind after a long day at work. We are happy it's close to our place. Please support local businesses, especially places like this one that care about the community“
“The service was cordial, and the atmosphere was OK. The restaurant smells more like a bar. We had the french toast, which really seemed to be bread dipped in whipped eggs and milk, and grilled in oil. It lacked sweetness and cinnamon. The eggs and bacon we ordered on the side were very good and fresh. Cracker Barrel does a better breakfast.“
“This is a go to favorite spot for my book club. The food here is always amazing and the atmosphere is lovely. The owner is a great person and helpful. This past year they were willing to host my book club even though they also had two other large parties (and it was raining). The service is always great and accommodating. The closed in patio is lovely and great for your pup. They are dog friendly! We will definitely be back and would recommend it to others.Parking: The lot in front is usually busy and full. The street spots are usually taken as well. If you go around to the back there is a paid lot with plenty of parking.“
“this place is very good. amazing options for vegetarian and in general. the food is amazing and pretty healthy too. the service is impeccable and they are always asking me if i’m doing okay and i just find customer service like that to be superb. and they have craft soda! the kind of soda that doesn’t make you feel fat when you get it and is just the better soda options altogether. definitely on the pricey side with my ordering coming in at 15 dollars every time but for the quality i think it’s worth it.“
“Got to try this popular gem on our early February visit to San Diego. Can't wait to go back next time! Beautiful setting, we sat outside on their adorable, interesting, and well spaced patio. Right amount of shade and sunshine on a breezy brunch hour. No wait to sit outside either. Our server was quick and friendly and recommended her favs. We shared the breakfast fried rice! A great portion for 2 and so delicious, the pork belly was awesome! All in all a great dining experience in Little Italy.“
“absolutely loved my experience here! the food was amazing!! i got the gnocchi duck with tomato sauce and it was brilliant. my drink was great too, “bees knees”. my boyfriend got the caccio e peppe and he enjoyed it too. we split the kale salad which we enjoyed as well. overall 10/10 and we'll definitely be back for brunch at some point so we can experience that!“
“Absolutely the best ! We ordered the tailgate and there was more than plenty for everyone. Great price great food! Service was pleasant, and we were quickly served! The area for to go orders was well lite up and clean as well as the parking area. Definitely returning for more!Parking: Parking was pretty easy, drove up, picked up our phone in order and drove right out. All in less than 5 minutes“
“The best place for breakfast on this side of the border! Authentic is here! Yes sir! Yes ma'am! Come through it's win, win ? win situation! No regrets except not finding this place sooner ??!Congratulations to the cook, the owner and everyone else that makes this place different! Great difference!“
“Decided to grab a quick brunch after a long flight. The food didn’t disappoint at all! Highly recommend the tiramisu pancakes. Free refill of good house blend coffee was going all around. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Shout out Thomas!“
“MJ's is amazing! This is really good food. It's filling and delicious. I got the Buddha Bowl topped with crab, shrimp, avocado, and a fried egg. I also got a strawberry-banana boba smoothie. MJ himself is a legend and has amazing customer service. Very kind and sincere. I will return and try more things.“
“Nice family focused restaurant. Good atmosphere and decor. Despite them being busy, service was good and food and drinks both arrived quickly. We had the Asian Chicken Salad and the roast beef and fish tacos. All were good. Server was very nice, even at the end of a long day.“
“This performance single-handedly cured my depression, my girlfriend and I had the best time. The queens were PHENOMENAL- Gorgeous, hilarious and so talented. Service was on point and food was delicious. Vibes were 11/10, cannot wait to come back.“
“This place is great! Only positive experiences the whole way through.Rooms: Feels like a bed and breakfastNearby activities: All the old town shops and restaurants.Walkability: Perfect for an old town visit and very close to the airport.Noteworthy details: Historical property, right in the middle of old town San Diego. There is even a shuttle from old town to the airport.“
“My husband and I have been here three times, in three different years and every year this place never fails! I would highly recommend trying this place! The atmosphere is beautiful, the servers are great and the food is not only unique, well prepared, beautifully placed, fresh, and tasty. It was our anniversary, they sent us a yummy dessert but the most thoughtful part was the card that was placed on our table that was signed by many of the employees! I was impressed that they took the time to do this. Thank youParking: The weekend was busy due to the cherry blossom festival, it can get pretty packed quickly.Kid-friendliness: Outside dining can be a good option here.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes every area of balboa seems to have ramps“
“Be prepared- if you order the cheese board, it's a full meal! Absolutely delicious with fresh bread and fruit. I halved the burger with a friend, and it was outstanding as well. The cocktails are amazing and beautiful to look at. The service was fantastic. Highly, highly recommend! Would done again“
“An awesome little gem nestled away at the One America Plaza trolley stop! The service was warm, friendly and upbeat. I felt so welcome. And the taco trio was outstanding -- I couldn't finish it (the little side of tortilla chips and salsa were delicious, too! I added avocado and it elevated already perfect tacos. I work nearby and this was my first time here. Will definitely be back!“
“Went there for a drink yesterday afternoon with my friend. I love the cute place. When the weather is very nice, I like open space with friends. Last year I did pre-game with my friend was fun too. I didn't order food yesterday and last year only had fries but next time love to try their food menu so that I can post ? my review. Oh drink is so good! Love the naming.“
“We're always looking for great Sunday brunch places. Adding this one to the list! Great mix of food choices with a modern fusion atmosphere. They also change the menu every 90 days which adds to the right of options each time you visit.“
“The food was fabulous. Would have liked to see a little more feta cheese on the brussel sprouts, that's just nitpicking. They were pushing staff to get their breaks out of the way before the dinner rush started (we got there a bit after 4:00), so our waiter took our order, then had to leave. Other people delivered the food, then disappeared as well, leaving us pretty much unattended. Turned out to be a non-issue, but someone should have come by the table one time while we were eating. We WILL be back.“
“Definitely will return! What a great find. Not your typical diner. It has excellent food and wine, excellent service. And no additional hidden service charge. We had dinner, but everything on the menu looked so good that we want to try breakfast next.“
“The staff was super friendly, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was great. I have a gluten allergy and the staff was very helpful in informing me of what was a possible cross contamination risk. I ultimately had the fishermen's stew and they were able to give me a gluten free alternative to the traditional bread that is served with it. It was delicious and perfect. The lavender lemon drop was also really good!“
“It was so welcoming, the decor felt like I was back in Europe during Christmas season. The was very good. Definitely recomed.Vegetarian options: If you want vegan, let her know she make what you askDietary restrictions: If you have restrictions again she will make sure you get what you ask for.Parking: You can park on the street before the turn on her street it's only 2 Homes away.Kid-friendliness: It's on a patio... so if you say your having little ones she can accommodate.“
“Have been coming here regularly for years. Tonight was exceptionally good. The food and service was great. Delicious burgers and Our waitress was awesome. The manager Grant is amazing. Not only did he come over and check on us but also made sure There were no issues with my gift card. Some of the best customer service I have ever had.“
“Ordered the chilaquiles rojos and they were bomb !!! Mango agua fresca was also great! Service is great and very comfortable, I was scared to try a new place but I had to leave a review because it was amazing. Definitely gonna be a regular hehe??“
“Lunch while in San Diego. Fun spot on the edge of Little Italy. The Crack Shack in Las Vegas is one of my favorite "cheap" meals on the Strip so we had to stop by one in San Diego. Youngest had the Senor Croque which he devoured. I had the Firebird which was good but the patty seemed smaller and had less sauce than what I remembered. Part of the joy of the Crack Shack is eating a juicy, saucy sandwich and this one seemed a bit short of my admittedly high expectations. The Mrs wasn't super hungry so we ordered a side of biscuits to share. Again, they were good but a step down from our memory. Still a good to very good chicken sandwich and worth a stop if looking for a casual meal near downtown San Diego.“
“Great lunch at Craft House Fashion Valley! We sat on the dog friendly patio which was nice and spacious. We ordered the lobster roll, blackened salmon blt, and chicken blt. All tasted great, the sweet potato and salad sides are also really good. Very friendly server and not too long of a wait for the food. Would recommend, one of the better restaurants at the mall.“
“Food was really good. Large portion, fruit and other ingredients were super fresh. The only knock was that the chicken felt like it was out of a pre-prepared package… $25 also felt high, but for airport food in San Diego it’s hard to get much lower than that.Punk rock music the whole time. Hope you like Linkin Park“
“This place... IS INCREDIBLE! Originally planned on going to a taco and beer fest on the pier, the line for that must've been about 2 days long, so the bf and I decided to go somewhere else. Saw it was a close walk and went there to feed our hungry faces and have our own mini beer fest. We were NOT disappointed!!! The service was great, our bartender was a sweetheart and helpful, and the FOOD. WAS. PERFECT. I got the mac n cheese, which was voted best in San Diego for 2 years, and let me tell you by far the best I've ever had. My boyfriend got the carne asada tacos, and we also got the sweet chili garlic wings. Everything was absolutely perfect, and we were also given a few beer samples! Highly recommended going here, and we'll definitely be back“
“Easily one of my favorite sandwich shops around and love that it's a growing chain in southern California. I contacted the San Diego location for catering my staff summit in February 2024. The catering support contact was very helpful and identified opportunity to reduce the cost of my order while optimizing the food provided, as usual it was amazing even being a catering order for the next day. My staff was very happy with all the sandwiches and sides. I highly suggest this for anyone looking for a really good artisan sandwich.“
“So my family and I got the Sweet Potato appetizer and the Brussel Sprouts with sauce appetizer and that was good. I got the Fontina Vodka Penne which I did not like at all the rest of my family had some and they didn't like it either. The problem with the Fontina Vodka Penne was that their was basil cooked in the sauce which gave it a butter basil taste then you get the weird vodka sauce with no sugar it in which made taste pretty gross I would not order that Fontina Vodka Penne ever again lol.“
“Came in to watch the big game. Had a pepperoni and jalapeño pizza, it was perfectly accompanied by one of the best Cesar salads I've ever had. Full leaf and slightly grilled romaine lettuce was top notch. Great neighborhood bar with a large menu.“
“LOVE this place! Taco Tuesdays are great and the tacos are really good. I took a star bc i asked if i could hang up a flyer on their bulletin board, they said yes, then tore it down. If you didn’t want me to just say so, but don’t tear it down after giving permission; i have to pay to have those printed.“
