“From the street view you would never guess this cozy ramen spot was hiding back here. I’m so glad we have a Hinodeya in this side of the bay! The interior is so welcoming and nicely arranged. You order from your phone at your table, and the food comes out hot and fast.
I was pleasantly by the number of vegan options on the menu! The yuzu ramen was refreshing and so good. I would also recommend some soft serve if you’re craving a sweet treat. I would definitely come back here to try more.“

“Decent beef noodle soup at this Chinese restaurant, specializing in northwestern Chinese cuisine. Surprisingly large menu. Flavorful soup, good noodle texture, and tender meat. However, the stir-fried veggies were a bit under seasoned. Efficient service. Large free parking lot.“

“We stopped by Ray's Crab Shack last Friday for a casual family dinner. The place isn't fancy, but it's clean, well-lit, and surprisingly kid-friendly for a seafood spot. The portions are generous - easily enough to share.
Everything came out hot, seasoned well, and not overly salty, which I appreciate. Prices are fair for what you get, and parking's easy even on a weekend.
Not somewhere we'd go every week, but for a relaxed, messy, seafood-with-the-family kind of night, it's a solid choice. We'll be back when the craving hits.“

“It’s like the most legit Chinese food cooked in the area. I could tell the chef was properly trained and brought the flavors from sichuan. Love the rice noodles, and all the side dishes are decent. This is like ten times fancier than the rice noodles from hunan mifen in Newark. They also have amazing beef rolls, sesame balls and the seaweed salad was really good too. The new mixed cold rice noodle with string beans is super good. (Apologies I didn’t take very good photos the food was like half eaten. It looked better when it was served)“

“I’m quite shocked how much food they gave me after all of the Chinese takeouts I’ve been too! It’s no wonder that this place has received higher ratings. This plate I have can get you full in no time unless you share it or save up for dinner later. The food here is even tasty. That two-item combo costs around $13!
I heard that this restaurant also serves à la carte, but you can also go through fast-food style like what I had today. Place wasn’t really big but the seating area in a way stands out. You can probably wait there until your order is ready. Also, I was scrolling through the foods from the display. Seems that many people ate here during lunch while I came here for dinner. Doesn’t seem that they have plenty of options from the display for combo orders, but that’s alright.
Honestly, I thought that the Spicy Orange Chicken would be very spicy, but gladly, it isn’t. I was hoping that I don’t end up drinking too much water from severe spiciness. I have tried the regular Orange Chicken from a similar place, but didn’t like it.
This will be one of the favorite Chinese takeouts I will go to for now on. Looking forward for more!“

“Isla offers authentic Filipino cuisine featuring classic dishes crafted with traditional flavors. The sisig was expertly prepared, crispy around the edges, and bursting with savory goodness. The kare-kare pork was tender and flavorful, served with a rich peanut-based sauce and crispy vegetables. Servers are attentive, prompt, and knowledgeable about the menu. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with cozy decor and lively music creating a welcoming atmosphere—definitely the best place to gather with friends and families for an enjoyable Filipino dining experience.“

“Stopped by for some vegan dinner. We had the vegan momo, tofu noodle soup and tofu curry. Food was good, the front desk guy was super friendly and helpful when we ordered. It is a take away place, but they have some tables if you want to eat there (we sat down for dinner)..

“Restaurant is tucked away in a quiet corner of the mall beside costco. Atmosphere is cozy but can be noisy at times. Food was what you would expect at any south Indian restaurant. Nothing too fancy but not too bad. $14 for a Mysore masala dosa is pricey but that is SF Bay Area for you. Mediocre food at Michelin prices. The chutneys were cold but the sambar was piping hot. Imagine dipping one piece of dosa in chutney and the next one in Sambar. Your palette will.not know what to expect next. Again poorly designed dishes yet prices are high. Sadly, this is the norm in the bay area, so cannot fault this place.“

“Legend Hot Pot & Grill honestly surprised me for the price, you get hotpot and BBQ in one spot, and everything tasted way fresher than most AYCE places. The broth was flavorful, the meats were tender and well-marinated, and the conveyor belt made grabbing veggies and noodles super easy. The sauce bar was fully stocked with everything you’d want, the vibe inside was warm and clean, and the staff kept refilling things without us even asking. Overall, it’s a perfect cold-weather spot with great value, tons of variety, and a way better experience than I expected. I’d definitely come back.“

“My old job in Jersey asked me to run a project out in Fremont. As i was staying out there for months on end, I came to this restaurant quite often. Always pho and bun bo hue. Amazing flavors. Great service. Can't say anything negative. They were my go to Pho spot.“

“I thought the food was absolutely delicious and quite reasonably priced. I ordered the deluxe hand roll set and it was my very first time trying hand rolls! The fish tasted so fresh and was seasoned perfectly. The perfect meat to rice ratio. I also got the takoyaki which is some of the best I’ve ever had! Had a sip of my friends veggie udon which also tasted divine. Everyone in my group loved what they ordered. One point of improvement is the service was very slow. It took 15-20 minutes for food to come out.“

“Limited vegetarian options but the ones I had were really good! I tried the veggie burrito with red sauce to make it wet and that was great! The quesadilla looked more like a burrito (not sure if there was some mixup in the delivery, the tortilla was grilled though so I'm not sure) but the taste was really good. They were both packed with lots of rice beans guac cheese bell peppers onions etc.. The size of each of those is quite big (the 2 items were excess for 2 people). A few additional veggies like mushrooms would make them even better.
Vegetarian options: Limited options but very good“

“It’s really traditional Taiwanese food. The grandma works there is really nice. Stinky tofu is really good! Highly recommend!
Pork belly is fine too even it doesn’t melt in my mouth.
I wish they would have more drinks options.“
“Today was my first time here since I moved a year ago. I've wanted to try this place and finally made it happen. It's a lovely facility, immaculate and the staff is friendly, the prices are right! I tried their Lion King Roll and the Godzilla Roll; they are so delicious and their drinks. I was in a mood for sake bombs and enjoyed it very much; the waiter was very attentive and had good recommendations. I will be a customer from now on. I highly recommend them.“

“Brighter, cleaner looking than the location in Fremont. Server was helping multiple people; he was courteous, quick and addressed people by names. “Service was good and ambiance is good. Food was really delicious and highly recommend their egg fried rice (spicy), spring rolls, Mapo Tofu, sichuan eggplant, pepper tofu. All of them were really good. Kung Pao tofu was sweet and could have been spicier. Scallion pancakes were lacking scallions and could be better“

“Papaya Thai is a Bay Area treasure. My wife and I stumbled upon it while looking for a good place to have lunch after running an errand in Newark. We had Lamb Yellow Curry Stew and Pad Thai with Shrimp. The lamb was perfectly cooked in a rich yellow curry with potatoes and carrots. The meat was as tender as you can possibly imagine. The Pad Thai was mixed with a sweet sauce that was slightly sticky, which I like so the noodles adhere to each other. I don’t know if this is traditional, but really like Pad Thai like that.“

“Lady at the counter was very nice. I ordered a 2 piece fish and chips to go, waited less than 10 minutes and my food came out hot and crispy. She gave me 2 tartar sauce and 1 malt vinegar.
The fish and chips themselves didn’t have much seasoning on them, but they were crispy, didn’t have any bad taste, and they pair well with the tartar sauce.
Decent amount of food for the price, would go again if I’m craving fried seafood!“
“$31 for a large pepperoni is pretty steep. A mile away you get 2 large pizzas and bread sticks for that much. That said, it's a very delicious pie. The sauce is pretty sweet, if you like that, but the pizza, as a whole, was enjoyed by the entire family.“

“Well...Here I was in Newark, and I needed 3 things..fuel for the truck, a Slide Track for my Peasly Hammerslacker, and some food. I fueled up at the Chevron, and after talking to the guy there it was decided that I'd never find the right Slide Track because my Hammerslacker is from the 1930's and I'd probably have to go to N. Dakota or maybe Wyoming to find one. The good news was that the dude flipped the switch on the Newark Buffet, and told me how great everything is, so I went there lickity split. He was right, the food was amazing! 5 ☆☆☆☆☆“

“I did takeout from New Venus HK Café in Newark and was really pleased. The Shrimp and Scrambled Eggs, Chow Fun, and Sweet and Sour Pork were all flavorful and well-prepared — true Hong Kong-style comfort food. Portions were generous, prices fair, and the food held up well for takeout. Service was friendly, even during the busy lunch rush. Definitely one of the best Chinese fast-food spots in the area!“

“Discovered this gem while searching for a bite to eat after a quick stop at UPS. The experience was a pleasant surprise! The Pho was like a warm hug on a cold day—richly flavorful, generously portioned, and absolutely satisfying. They also offer free water and your choice of warm or cold tea, which adds a nice touch. Plus, there’s no mandatory tip, making it feel even more welcoming. An awesome find that I’ll definitely be returning to!“

“I absolutely love the pizza at this Round Table pizza. The staff here is very friendly. We had a group of hungry soccer players coming in, they allowed us to use one of their party rooms. It was very spacious. I wish they had some better arcade games other than those claw machines. The bathrooms didn't seem very clean either, but they weren't terrible. Oh yeah, but the pizza is bomb!“
