“This cafe is a must try in Oakland. I was greeted with a warm welcome upon arrival by the owner V. You can tell he loves what he does and gives everyone a personal experience. I was laughing before I even sat down. I ordered the bulgogi omelette with a side of rice. The presentation of the dish was on point. I especially loved the hot sauce rack they have. A colorful selection! V was kind enough to share his personal favorite, which you’ll have to find out for yourself, haha. The omelette was nice and cheesy with a nice portion of protein, just the way I like it. Koffee Pot embodies the true meaning of a local restaurant, everyone that stopped by had a good relationship with the owners, you can tell people love coming here. I look forward to my next visit and trying a new dish. Ps. I hear the Vietnamese coffee is crackin!“

“The first time I ordered here my hash browns were real light skinned. I like my hash brown to look like me, dark. I decided to give them another try and asked for my hash brown to be extra crispy. This time the meal was A1, everything tasted good just the way I like it. The sourdough bread was buttered! The ladies in the shop have lowkey, chill and sweet vibes. Great start to my day.“

“On a recent trip to Oakland I had breakfast here twice. The food was very good as was the service. Prices were reasonable. I had the corned beef hash and eggs and then an omelet made to order. Both with the home potatoes. These meals were prepared well and quite filling. The coffee was excellent. The dining room was comfortable, clean and welcoming. Will dine here again on future trips.“
