My usual go-to spots were Slice House and Mama Boys, but this tops both of them. The crust and flavor have that classic NY tang and chew I’ve been missing. The place is completely non pretentious but with top quality fresh ingredients that some hipster joints could only dream of delivering. They have a variety of menu items that are all delicious, well-made, and healthy options. The service at the crêpe pan is phenomenal, the staff are very friendly, polite, accommodating, and catering to the needs of their customers. We had the wonderful opportunity to connect with the owner, Joseph as well. On a regular basis, both Joseph and his wife Mai are on the restaurant floor helping and make friendly connections and smiles with their customers. “In all my travels, I look for what I call "happy food." Happy food for me is healthy, nutritious, tasty, nicely prepared, and served by smiling people in a clean environment. Oori exceeded all my happy food requirements and then took me for a ride through food blissfulness worth each bite. I had chicken teriyaki, grilled salmon, and spicy tuna triangles. On the side, I complimented it with miso soup and ginger. Each flavor was distinct and made my taste buds ooh, ahh, and wow for more. I'll be back here for more without question. “Best carnitas I’ve had in the bay so far. Super flavorful, and perfect balance of moist but with yummy crunchy bits. Delicious homemade tortillas and amazing salsa. This is a mom and pop shop!! Don’t expect a super fast process, but everyone is super nice and the food quality is 10/10.“

“Small place, but the winners for me are the salads, the Cobb in particular. I get the small Cobb with blue cheese dressing mixed in, and it's a great lunch salad with plenty of protein to keep me satiated for a while without having extra carbs and for a good price. I like that their hardboiled eggs are never overcooked! I dont really like pizza(even though I've made thousands of pizzas at a few jobs), but my kids always get a small, and they love it. I've tried it before, and I do admit that they have a good pizza dough. The man that's always there is nice, respectful & quick.“

However, the rolls can be pretty expensive, and sometimes too large/ full of rice for my liking. Also the restaurants interior is a little out dated and uninviting. The crust is amazing, the bread is soft and crunchy in the best way. The red sauce was so delicious I wanted to slurp up a whole bowl of it and I'm not a big fan of red sauce but there's is slightly sweet and super savory not over powering at all. I got the new skool pizza and the toppings were perfectly cooked with the sizes being bite size so you get a mouthful of every topping in every bite.
The cheese was well incorporated where it complimented the toppings.
I found my new pizza shop and I'm planning on exploring more of the menu.

There’s multiple locations so it’s convenient to satisfy my pizza cravings. They also have yummy wings and a packed chopped salad if you want other options. Their pizzas are huge and are so filling for lunch or dinner.“

Service was very good with just the right amount of attention. My wife had their Barney's salad of which she ate her fill then brought almost half of it home. I had the French Burger that was cooked beautifully medium-rare and needed no condiments. The 4 of us shared an order of steak fries which was more than enough. This was a HUGE disappointment as I only eat sourdough or dark rye bread. Esp in the bay area where Sourdough is the go to. You need to serve what you say you have. This kind of stuff drives me crazy. It is as if the customer is not going to know...not good!“

“There's a small pizza chain originating out of Niles/Fremont that has the best dang pizza pie I've ever tasted. Mountain Mike's Pizza on Telegraph is an extremely close second. On top of that, the pizza joint in Niles kicked my girlfriend and I out of their restaurant the very first time I set foot in there....and we don't even know why!!?!! Having said that, MMP has my pie ready, on time with a smile every time without fail so....MMP is probably a lot closer to that top spot than we think. Whoever Mike is he's got that mountain well under control. Love it.

“Where do I begin? I’ve become so accustomed to bad service post-COVID, that when I come here it feels like stepping into an alternate universe of before-times.

I came here a few times to pick up online orders that weren’t even really late, and they gave me a free beverage to compensate me for the few moments I had to wait.

LOL, they freaking greet me when I enter the store. That is an old-timey EXCEPTION these days. I’m just always treated like a human being whose business is appreciated here. I know that sounds really wild, but that used to be normal back in the day. It’s like a Time Machine in here.

No matter who is working, I feel like I’m getting really great service. Makes me think/hope SG is taking good care of their employees because they are taking great care of SG!
