“OMG 😳 The Ceviche (not counting my wife’s handmade ceviche) is the best I have ever tasted, and I’ve tasted a lot of ceviche. It’s soooo good. I had the Mango 🥭 Avocado 🥑 Shrimp 🍤 Ceviche it was like an explosion of flavors in my mouth, I couldn’t stop eating it. Great tacos 🌮 everything was beyond my expectations. I have probably walked by Puesto’s a hundred times but not anymore it will be my restaurant of choice when in Concord you have to try it. Sorry no picture of the Ceviche 😋“

“The food was good but a little overpriced.
We had the pork carnitas they were well done cooked, the fish tacos were humongous and we add an extra one for $6 , they were ok. The chips salsa and guacamole were very tasty and delicious (highly recommended), for cocktails we had the Tepache con Tiki and a Vampiro, we were not impressed, I think they still need to work on their cocktails. We also had the Pot De Creme for dessert and it was very tasty
We will definitely go back to try a couple of dishes and other drinks“

Love the fish tacos here- nice and crispy. Salsa verde on the side. We came around noon and there wasn’t a line.
Aloha club next door was open as well if you wanted to get drinks there.

“My fave place to grab n go some homemade muy rico tamales! It's literally a window you order at, limited street parking, but you can get thicc delicious tamales hot and ready to eat or to keep for another day. They last a week in the fridge. But mine never last that long. Chicken is my fave, the cheese is good too. Veggies is my least fave but I still like it! Huge portions. Quality people and hearty tamales. Go get you some from Tamaleria Azteca!“

“When I'm visiting Oakland I always make a few stops at Doña. The food is fantastic, the drinks are amazing and the service is fast and lovely. We pretty much get the cauliflower tostada every time, so much so that it's my desert island meal! I will never tire of it. But there is so much more, tacos, beans & rice, guac & chips, margaritas and a fantastic tequila & mezcal selection. Gracias to the team, muy delicioso.“

“What an amazing, family restaurant! My wife and friends try to order from here once a week. They're always generous with their chips, salsa, and extras. Food is always fresh and you can tell by the dairy they use! The place is huge too with an under rated bar where we ate and watched the Warriors. Such an under rated restaurant in the bay!“

“So happy to find a delicious and friendly restaurant that doesn’t close in the afternoon in my neighborhood. We have been there several times in the past couple months and I’m still trying new things on the menu. My husband tried the ribs which he said were the best he’s ever had and half the serving went home with him. It was huge! Desserts are exceptional especially the flan. I’m still exploring their vegetarian options but so far my favorite is their version of chili relleno. Come and relax and enjoy the food and friendly atmosphere!“

“I’d give this place 6 stars if I could. Not only do they undoubtedly have the best Tacos on all of Oakland, they have incredibly honest and kind service. When I had a communication error with the store - they not only rectified the situation, but went above and beyond in their solution. I will be recommending this place to everyone I know. Great tacos, great leadership and great prices“

“Love this place, the food is fantastic, very much a taqueria. The Cameron’s taco are fantastic. Everyone that works there are really friendly, you can tell they like it there because it is the same faces.
They moved in and painted the place bright pink. They replaced another favorite that was not able to survive COVID.
If you get take out, check you got your chips, they love to leave those out of your bag. 5 stars if not for the many bags of missing chips.“

“My first time trying Mexican food!!
If you are into original non glamorous places with fantastic food, THIS WILL BE UP YOUR ALLEY! This is a family own restaurant with a full service bar adjacent room. The micheladas are insane! They have cool variety of imported beer and local to choose. The birria go some and the tiny been tacos will blow your mind.
Just watch out for the life mariachi bands if you don’t like loud music.“
“There is a second part to this review, which is 1 ⭐️ . I will get to that in a moment .
Let me start off by saying I am a burrito guy. I realize this place opened in my neighborhood and decided to give it a try after reading the reviews. They’ve got a couple of reviews talking about how the food wasn’t that good etc. I live off of burritos and that is far from the truth.
The burrito itself was very tasteful. The seasoning was perfect. The rice is good. The shell was cooked exactly how most people would like it.
Let me get to the one star part of My review now.
First at the counter, the guy worked in the counter, gave him my order. It was hard for them to understand kept repeating, and I gave them specific directions slowly on how I wanted my burrito made. When you tell somebody no beans and then two minutes later they come back and say you don’t want no beans no I don’t. When you tell somebody I want cheese and then they come back while they’re sitting there typing something in and say do you want cheese. With that said that’s minimal here’s the bad part. My wife cannot eat dairy I told the first person three enchiladas and no dairy, no cheese and no sour cream. I said all three of those things however I should’ve only been able just to say no dairy and they should understand that, but I specifically said no cheese and sour cream.. Specifically said my wife cannot have dairy. After talking to the lady in the back going back And fourth. The lady comes out and continues my order. She’s really a hard worker and tries too hard but I think it’s a slight language barrier. She repeated to me no sour cream and no cheese and I said correct as I’m leaving getting my order she opens it to show me, how the enchiladas were and I said oh is that sour cream she said yes I said no sour cream. My wife cannot eat dairy no cheese and she goes oh no cheese?. So she takes the tray back rather than make a new one she scraped the sour cream out of the tray and was not aware of that at the time when I got home, I had to wipe it out with paper towels. I think they personally should’ve grabbed another tray possibly remade the order if it was the neighborhood of dairy. That’s just my opinion, but the food was great. Have a good day.
I went well before lunch place was not busy only one other customer there so no reason to get mixed up here. So I don’t want to dock them for the food and trying just making people aware who can’t have dairy. Be careful.“

“What an incredible treat to experience--AND it's situated conveniently in a residential area for accessibility!
The churros are delicious in their own or with a variety of fillings. My favorite is the caramelo (caramel) filling that's made with goat milk. (It's like dulce de leche but warrrrrm.)
The people who run it are also the owners, which means they're invested in creating a friendly, community atmosphere and gladly cater to special requests.
Be prepared to pay either cash, use Zelle or get cash back from the nearby Mexican grocer. There's no option for card payments!“

“La Plaza is a hidden gem in Walnut Creek. Big menu with lots of options, you can't go wrong with anything you pick.
My go tos are the Chile Relleno or the Nachos. the Bean and Cheese Burrito is also one of the best I've ever had.
Great to eat in or easy takeout for the whole fam. Highly recommend!“
