“Tea felt very private, in a quiet banquet room overlooking the Vila with instrumental music in the background. Music was a bit depressing at first, then was changed to Bridgeton type music. All you can drink teas, highly recommend the house lavender tea. Sandwich and sweets were nice.“
“As a refugee of New York living on the West Coast, the perfect slice is hard to come by. This place has been the closest I’ve had so far in SoCal, and they’re either best or tied for first in the state with a place in Oakland. Repeated research will be necessary.“

“A nice little beach snack shack. Convenient but prices are ⬆️ . I expected some seating inside like most cafes offer. Just a couple of tables and uncomfortable chairs along with 2 concrete benches (that could use a power wash) outside in the sand. I got the veggie burger which was delicious for $10, which is exact same price as their deluxe bacon cheeseburger and turkey burger. I appreciate having a vegetarian option, which is unusual for a food stand vendor at the beach. Bring your own water. They charge $5 a bottle.
Vegetarian options: Veggie burger was very tasty! Limited vegetarian options for sandwiches.
Parking: $6 for all day. Parking charge until 8:30. Not sure if they close off the parking lot after 8:30.“

“This is a very inviting bakery shop and a restaurant. One places and order and pays at the counter and you can find a table or have it TO GO.
My friend and I wanted a quick breakfast that would be easy to eat in the car, so we both ordered the breakfast sandwich ( under $10) and a cold drink. Our food was made after we ordered so I know it was fresh! Our egg sandwich was pretty good, but a bit dry and needed more flavor or spices, thus the 4 stars.
If you just want to Grab and Go, there is a section of readymade foods too.
The baked breads and pastries looked heavenly!
Next time I will have to sit down and try out other goodies from K Bakery!“

“I had the pleasure of having lunch at Juicy Ladies, and it was a fantastic experience! The food was fresh, flavorful, and simply delicious. The menu offers a great variety of healthy options, and everything I tried was top-notch. To make things even better, the customer service was outstanding – the staff was friendly, attentive, and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. “This place is an absolute must visit! When we travel to LA each year we now have to make sure our hotel is within a stones throw of here for our coffee fix in the morning. The food and rhe service here are both phenomenal! Do yourself a favor and add them as a stop to your next WeHo jaunt.“

“Matcha Village has the most delicious desserts! We tried the Green Vine Cheesecake and the Fruit Box Cake. Both were fantastic! The consistency of the matcha for the cheesecake was perfection. I wish I could explain it better, but it was amazing. Can’t wait to go back to try some drinks and the Peking deck crepe!!!“

“One of my favorite restaurants ever. The meat was seasoned so expertly and was so tender. Mussel toast was INCREDIBLE. Their sourdough was out of this world. Staff was knowledgeable and guided us in trying many interesting wines. This place was amazing!“

“Ooh, what a lively place. It is a packed place even on a late Thursday morning, but the food is quite good.
I had the avocado toast with two poached eggs and it was tasty. I added a sprinkle of pepper and it was set to go. Definitely interested in trying the rest of their menu.
Cold brew was also nice although not too memorable.“

“In A Nutshell:
-Yagul is a Oaxacan oasis.
-I found out about this place while exploring the neighborhood & noticed a lot of people popping in/out.
-Not only that the beautiful smell of Mexican food wafted into my nostrils, so I mentally bookmarked this spot.
-Not too long later, I came in for a nice breakfast.
-The Huevos Rancheros really hit the spot.
-The portion was not too big & everything tasted fresh, especially the beans & rice.
Overall, the service is very friendly & I liked the prices too.“

“Oh man. This place is fantastic. As you can see we tried a lot of food. The burritos were a big hit, as well as the tacos. But for me, the absolute must have - legendary item on this menu is the the Horchata Latte. Sweet baby Jesus it is good. Certainly top 3 for coffee drinks I’ve had in LA. It is soooooo dang good I would come back out of my way just for that latte. Man I would pay good money to know how to make a drink like that! Definitely will be back.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available too!“

“This might be my favorite new specialty drink in the city of LA. Georgia on my mind is awesome. I wanted it to be decaf, but they don’t have decaf coffee, so they made it as an iced decaf latte and added vanilla syrup and orange dust. Absolutely delicious.“

“A small restaurant selling delicious churros and that creamy, dreamy hot chocolate that pairs so well with the churros…a must try!
The reataurant has a small selection of savory food as well.
Parking: Situated on a busy street, so there’s street parking out front and some residential parking available, but please read the signs!!!“

“I love this place! Maybe one day, my state will have full recreation. For now, I will happily indulge while on vacation. Btw, their prices were LESS than what I paid for my medical. The staff was amazing and I hope I can come back again before I leave!“

“I needed a place to have good coffee and work and this place was perfect. Friendly staff and they are cool with you pulling your laptop out and working. The sesame ice latte was really good and not too sweet. I also enjoyed the blueberry matcha - the mix of mild sweetness and bitterness complement each other perfectly. The almond croissant was amazing with a wonderful creamy filling. I’ll be back.“

“Came here - it's great cafe and I see what the hype is about/why ppl rated it highly! It's a community cafe that feels like a nice purposeful place inside - the first time you visit, they'll let you have a coffee/drink on the house and then after that, you pay what you feel your drink and bill should be. They offer additional seasonal activities like art classes, creative things to do in this space - would def love to support it more and the coffee is great here! I got their seasonal/monthly latte: when harry met salty. Very good coffee! Hope this place sticks around and ppl support it! Can't wait to come back for another coffee or tea drink! If you go during prime time, there's a long line.“

“Faboulous baked goods, great chef in the kitchen, some unusual delightful special breakfasts + lunches, excruciatingly noisy due to bad acoustics when busy.
2025: as good as ever, good coffee + espresso, great baked goods, good breads, outside seating, the take out salads are overpriced and not that interesting, always helpful staff. too bad they close for food at 3:oo. owner Hans has a couple of local high price restaurants: Janes in the MDR. good though.“

“Oh my gosh, is this my favorite place to get coffee in SM? Yes! So cute, great coffee and smoothies, great avacado and egg salad toasts. Great dog watching and people watching too. Easy to park, but pay the meter, the meter people make a sweep in the morning. Lovely place to sit, lots of shaded places.“

“The woman behind the counter was super kind and patient with us as we worked through what we wanted. We were on a trip and had several gluten free stops in LA.
I loved the bagel.
The zucchini bread tasted like a brownie and a hot pretzel had a baby. Not too sweet. Really tasty.
We had several things.
I had a donut with orange and pomegranate. It was sweet and tangy. We loved our visit and want to take out kids back.
