“My experience at Saby’s is always phenomenal. I live close by and this has turned into my go to weekend brunch spot. The food is incredible (I get the chipotle chicken breakfast burrito) almost every time and it never fails to disappoint. Sometimes the food can take a bit but that’s because there is always a line out the door and around the corner! The services is great, the workers are so welcoming and kind (especially Javier, he is the absolute man!!), and every time I come I leave with new appreciation for the establishment. Their coffee is also delicious, I get the Spanish latte with oak milk and it never fails to disappoint. 10/10 would recommend Saby’s to any and everyone!! Also special shoutout to whoever is on aux, they play absolute banger after banger on repeat (atmosphere is elite)!!“

“We randomly ended up to this restaurant: small, but pleasant, the type of place where you can talk with your friends. Party of three, we had the fish carpaccio, the octopus, and the burger (gourmet burger!). Everything was prepared to perfection. They will definitely see us again.“

“The self care breakfast was perfect if you enjoy the Mediterranean style breakfast. What makes a big difference is just the quality of the ingredients. The feta, olives, eggs, the olive oil. Play date here and they were very aware of their gluten free options. My Celiac is beyond sensitive where as my daughters is not as bad. It was nice to have them be aware of things. I got a salad, she had a GF cupcake with her friend. Parking was ok, lots of seating indoor and outdoor, pretty space.“

“My wife and I went to the Grove in Los Angeles last night and we had dinner at "Sogno Toscana," an it was outstanding. It was perfect in every way; great food, great drinks, outstanding and friendly staff, beautiful location, etc. I love Italian food but I can't think of one Italian restaurant that I like, until "Sogno Toscano." The food was outstanding, and there was so much more we saw go by that we can't wait to go back and try. And the drinks were outstanding. I love martini's and they served the best martini I've ever had. Giacomo was our server and took great care of us. He's from Italy and "Sogno Toscana" brought him to America when they opened their New York restaurant, and now he's in LA for this new restaurant. Although very busy, the entire staff were very fun to be around, and most of them are Italian which is also great.“

Since it was my first time visiting, I decided to go with a drink from their specialty menu. Since they were out of their espresso-esque called the Rising Flower Tonic ($7, comes with espresso, orange juice, osmanthus flower simple syrup, & tonic water) I went with a different orange-infused option.

Georgia On My Mind ($7) is made individually with espresso, oat milk, vanilla syrup, orange zest, then shaken in a cocktail shaker, and topped with a dehydrated orange slice. On the subject of the Georgia On My Mind drink having orange zest when named after the song: “Weird, it should’ve been peach. Georgia is the peach state.” - Joshua

Georgia On My Mind was initially a punch of very sweet, so much so that next time I thought I might ask for less syrup, but it very quickly grew on me and I loved it. The orange zest was the perfect amount of orange to be noticeable without overpowering, and I appreciate that they default to oat milk for this one because it was the perfect creaminess.

I cannot wait to go back and try another signature drink!! Even though it’s called Eyes Peeled, I did not spiiill.

We were easily able to find parking at a meter out front, and although there was a bit of a line when we arrived, but luckily it moved pretty quickly and the barista and cashier were very efficient with making drinks. They had the menu posted on the wall outside the door so you could start thinking of your order while waiting in line, and they had a larger menu once you get to the register.“

The coffee is basically free if you think of your donation as more of a rental fee to be in this lovely communal space and have access to all that it offers. This place is ideal for making plans with business partners, writing scripts with friends, or just getting together for some time away from screens and computers. “My wife found this great hole in the wall on our way back from Hollywood this morning. You can be pretty sure you're getting good coffee when there's an Aussie at the bar, but this fellow pulls great shots. Do yourself a favor and try this place out before some influencer discovers it and you need to wait in line to get some of this great brew. I imagine street parking can get dodgy in this neighborhood, but there's a public parking lots just a few steps away.“

“Very friendly group there. They had information available about all the cats and you could tell they loved where they worked. The cats are obviously well cared for and the facility is well maintained. I was impressed with the entire experience and will definitely be back.“

I got the breakfast burrito which was pretty standard. Only issue is that the cutlery I had was dull, the fork couldn’t stab anything. Iced latte was very good.

“had dinner at Samos Café and Grill, and it was a great experience from start to finish. The dinner menu was amazing—everything was flavorful, well-prepared, and thoughtfully put together. You can really tell care goes into the food.

The service was just as impressive. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and made us feel comfortable the entire time. What really stood out was the chef coming out to greet us, explain the dishes, and talk about the ingredients and preparation. That personal touch made the meal feel special and showed how much pride they take in their food.

Overall, Samos Café and Grill is a fantastic spot for dinner, great food, great service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Definitely a place I’d come back to.“
