“This is a lovely cafe for lunch and/or coffee. There staff is very friendly and helpful accommodating our requests for additional salad dressing. However it closes at 3pm, at which time you can no longer refill your fountain drinks. The view and the ambiance is absolutely amazing. The outdoor seating areas are well spaced out and shaded. The Villa Burger is a good balance of gruyere cheese, beef patty, Arugula, onion jam and brioche bun. Three garlic fries are perfectly seasoned with garlic and parsley. The Market Salad with apple, quinoa and chicken is generous and well dressed with shallot vinaigrette. The prices are definitely 10-20% higher but the ambiance is worth it.“

“A nice little beach snack shack. Convenient but prices are ⬆️ . I expected some seating inside like most cafes offer. Just a couple of tables and uncomfortable chairs along with 2 concrete benches (that could use a power wash) outside in the sand. I got the veggie burger which was delicious for $10, which is exact same price as their deluxe bacon cheeseburger and turkey burger. I appreciate having a vegetarian option, which is unusual for a food stand vendor at the beach. Bring your own water. They charge $5 a bottle.

Parking: $6 for all day. Parking charge until 8:30. Not sure if they close off the parking lot after 8:30.“

The breakfast burrito is my favorite in all of LA but the dinner experience, the atmosphere is very fun it’s the perfect spot for casual family friendly dinner where the food is amazing The burger was delicious and so are the fish tacos. finally, the banana bread for dessert was so tasty.“

“My wife and I went to the Grove in Los Angeles last night and we had dinner at "Sogno Toscana," an it was outstanding. It was perfect in every way; great food, great drinks, outstanding and friendly staff, beautiful location, etc. I love Italian food but I can't think of one Italian restaurant that I like, until "Sogno Toscano." The food was outstanding, and there was so much more we saw go by that we can't wait to go back and try. And the drinks were outstanding. I love martini's and they served the best martini I've ever had. Giacomo was our server and took great care of us. He's from Italy and "Sogno Toscana" brought him to America when they opened their New York restaurant, and now he's in LA for this new restaurant. Although very busy, the entire staff were very fun to be around, and most of them are Italian which is also great.“

The coffee is basically free if you think of your donation as more of a rental fee to be in this lovely communal space and have access to all that it offers. This place is ideal for making plans with business partners, writing scripts with friends, or just getting together for some time away from screens and computers. This place is tailored toward bringing diverse people together into one place to sharing ideas and stories with each other. As for the coffee and baristas both are fantastic. Cappuccino rocked me off my behind all day cuz I'm used to watered down crappuccinos from Starbucks. I love this place. Best quality lox I’ve ever had, and I’m from BC. Large bagels and tons of red onions, capers & tomatoes. Generous portions, the salmon also. My table has had salads and pancakes and tuna melts. Lama Lo gets it right. Great, hot foamy lattes. Also a great buzz to the place - lively and no one hurries you, you can stay for ages. I’m a huge fan.“

“I just moved into my apartment in Mar Vista, and I walk to work at Venice Beach. This bakery is on my way and very close to my apartment, so I decided to try it. Let's just say it's now my morning routine before work. The cheese danishes and pretzels are amazing, and the service is very efficient. Everyone is really nice, and there is a blonde girl who works there and she is super friendly. This is definitely a must try for anyone visiting or living in or near Mar Vista.“

Cravings cafe is a cozy lil cafe in West Hollywood area at the lobby of Avaco Center building. They’re known for breakfast, paninis and Mediterranean kabob plates. Similarly, they serve coffee and tea drinks.

I came to grab some breakfast sandwich and coffee drink. Food was delightful as well as the coffee. Staff were nice and competent. Prices are fair. Atmosphere was inviting. Their indoor and outdoor seats were spacious.

Overall, it’s a nice lil cafe for coffee and breakfast. I recommend it.“

“A place like Goncho Bistro makes me wish I lived in the neighborhood, the menu, the prices, the casual atmosphere were all so appealing on paper and once I went, it all delivered. I was staying at a friends nearby and wandered in on a Tuesday evening when the fish joint a couple doors down was closed.

I was greeted by whom I believe was one of the owners as he was assembling some furniture and beckoned in warmly to order. A family of three was about to order as well and I insisted not to worry about getting mine out first as I was not in a hurry and going to sit outside. I ordered the Goncho burger combo, a kiwi chicken salad, and a San Pellegrino soda. He had asked if it was my first time in and as a result didn't charge me for the beverage which was a kind gesture.

I set up outside at slightly wobbly wicker table and enjoyed the warm evening and lovely sunset in a chair that I thought was going to be a lot less comfortable than it was for my big butt. The food was ready about 20 minutes later and I tucked in. The kiwi chicken salad was extraordinary, at least to my tastes, and don't let the photos fool you there were 6 or 7 big pieces of strongly seasoned chicken in it, not just 3 on top. There was also easily a whole kiwi and maybe even a whole medium avocado in it too. The spinach taste fresh and the minty vinaigrette was refreshing and really tied together a unique salad at a borderline bargain price. The burger combo continued that trend. At 18 dollars it was piled with perfectly roasted little potatoes and a really hearty burger for its size. The beef was juicy, rich, and cooked at a perfect medium by default. The beefy flavor was in harmony with the strong sweetness of the carmalized onion and mozzarella making for sweet savory bites reminiscent of some of my favorite burgers that use fig or bacon jams. The mustardy-mayo sauce was perfect for the little potatoes and the cheese on top was nice, but could totally be omitted in my uninformed opinion.

Paying about $30 for all of this at a bistro in Sherman Oaks felt like great deal and really contributed to the joy of such good food. I don't think I would've been disappointed or upset if it was closer to $40, but it wouldn't have felt as hospitable or special as money gets tighter these days. I will be back again and again as the entire menu is so appealing and offers some uncommon flavors and dishes. I'm confident they will all be executed perfectly and priced more than fairly based on this experience. Go here please!“

“This place is GREAT. Never found such a great quality of ingredients in the food in the US. These guys also make their own bread and buns for the burgers. The vegetables too taste as they are supposed to taste and the waiters are just the most kind people you could ever want. I had an avocado toast and egg this morning and it was so good. With egg actually tasting incredible. Then came back for a burger and it was just great: the meat was delicious and so the toppings. Amazing place.“
