“This is a lovely cafe for lunch and/or coffee. There staff is very friendly and helpful accommodating our requests for additional salad dressing. However it closes at 3pm, at which time you can no longer refill your fountain drinks. The view and the ambiance is absolutely amazing. The outdoor seating areas are well spaced out and shaded. The Villa Burger is a good balance of gruyere cheese, beef patty, Arugula, onion jam and brioche bun. Three garlic fries are perfectly seasoned with garlic and parsley. The Market Salad with apple, quinoa and chicken is generous and well dressed with shallot vinaigrette. The prices are definitely 10-20% higher but the ambiance is worth it.“

“A nice little beach snack shack. Convenient but prices are ⬆️ . I expected some seating inside like most cafes offer. Just a couple of tables and uncomfortable chairs along with 2 concrete benches (that could use a power wash) outside in the sand. I got the veggie burger which was delicious for $10, which is exact same price as their deluxe bacon cheeseburger and turkey burger. I appreciate having a vegetarian option, which is unusual for a food stand vendor at the beach. Bring your own water. They charge $5 a bottle.

Vegetarian options: Veggie burger was very tasty! Limited vegetarian options for sandwiches.

Parking: $6 for all day. Parking charge until 8:30. Not sure if they close off the parking lot after 8:30.“

“I met my friend for breakfast yesterday morning at 8:30 am. Since it was so early, we were able to grab a four-top table on their patio, just outside of the open-air, stylishly beachy restaurant.

We both ordered coffees, a latte and an Americano. She had the overnight oats bowl, which looked delicious and filing, and I had the avocado toast on sourdough. So fresh and good!

The staff were very nice and friendly, and this is a great, laidback place to have breakfast.

There is a large parking lot in front of the restaurant; paid parking only.

I will come back and bring my boyfriend! Great location across the street from Venice Beach, too.“

“My wife and I went to the Grove in Los Angeles last night and we had dinner at "Sogno Toscana," an it was outstanding. It was perfect in every way; great food, great drinks, outstanding and friendly staff, beautiful location, etc. I love Italian food but I can't think of one Italian restaurant that I like, until "Sogno Toscano." The food was outstanding, and there was so much more we saw go by that we can't wait to go back and try. And the drinks were outstanding. I love martini's and they served the best martini I've ever had. Giacomo was our server and took great care of us. He's from Italy and "Sogno Toscana" brought him to America when they opened their New York restaurant, and now he's in LA for this new restaurant. Although very busy, the entire staff were very fun to be around, and most of them are Italian which is also great.“

I really wanted to give five stars, but I just wish the owner would fix the A/C. I feel really bad that the staff have to work in such hot temperatures in the summer, especially the gentleman working the grill. Please fix it for them and I'll be happy to leave another 5-star review :)“

“Very friendly group there. They had information available about all the cats and you could tell they loved where they worked. The cats are obviously well cared for and the facility is well maintained. I was impressed with the entire experience and will definitely be back.“

“Food was good! We ordered the Crispy chicken wrap with curly fries and the steak salad. Both were good, I don’t like blue cheese and there was some in the salad.

I used to get their iced vanilla latte religiously almost everyday then I tried other places and realized Aroma’s lattes are very milk heavy and I can barely taste the coffee. If I get coffee from them it’s a cold brew now.

Dessert is delicious! The chocolate chip cookies are goey and have a crunch .

I love the location it’s beautiful inside and out. It usually gets packed and there’s a line you have to wait in, but we went in at 5pm and it was pretty quiet. Found seating inside no issues, tables were clean, bathroom was clean. Service was quick!

“Cute, fun, and immediately won me over because they use Dune Coffee beans, aka one of my favorite coffee spots from Santa Barbara!

The matcha was incredible and my friend LOVED her strawberry matcha because the milk tasted infused with freeze-dried strawberries which really leveled up the strawberry flavor! Super unique and really tasty. Will definitely be back!“

“Wish I lived closer. As a first time customer I got a drink on the house, and they have a utopic pay-what-you-can model for future drinks. The cafe is spacious, and it’s the perfect place to either get work done or chat with some friends—it doesn’t seem dominated by either group. At first they were really nice and reactive but then they just disappeared and ignored my messages ! I asked them 3 times to answer me but nothing….. I have never seen that in the US ! “Went in for a casual brunch on a Friday and it was packed with people! The lady at the front was lovely and the servers were nice as well. The food was very good and we enjoyed the sandwiches we ordered! The one downside was there were just a lot of flies everywhere constantly landing on our food. Hard to control with doors opening all the time but certainly impacted the experience. Would definitely try it out again!“
