“Toast catered our wedding at the SF Botanical Garden. They did everything from food and bartending through rentals. They were incredible to work with and the food was so good. I will dream about the mini mission burrito I had immediately after the ceremony for some time! Alicia really did an amazing job helping us make our vision a reality. On top of the amazing food, she also provided great recommendations for our rental set up that really set the mood! From the moment we did a tasting with her, we knew that Toast would be the right partners. We are so happy that we did. Definitely use them!“

“We ordered tacos for a post-wedding brunch at my parents' house the day after our wedding and they were a hit! The delivery person was prompt and super nice. They set up all the tacos, salsas and left menus that described each taco type. The tacos were all individually wrapped and labeled. It was perfect to have a mix of tacos with meat, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free so there was something for everyone. We had some left over and they have been delicious just heated up in the toaster oven. I highly recommend them for any party or gathering!“

“First time customer of Espostos catering, found through a recommendation on Nextdoor and so impressed with the presentation, value, quality and communication. We did a somewhat last minute order for a big party and it was a success! Will definitely be returning again and again.“

“This place has the best Mexican food we’ve had. We were visiting San Francisco from DC and wanted some authentic Mexican food. Once we saw all of the rave reviews for this place, we decided we had to go and our experience 100% lived up to the reviews.

When we arrived and were taking a little while to absorb the menu, the very kind man at the counter offered to let us try all of their sauces so that he could make a recommendation for us. All of the sauces were delicious, but we each gave our favorites and he recommended that we each do a mix and match enchiladas plate. They were phenomenal.

I want to emphasize that these are genuinely kind and warm people. On top of offering to have us try their sauces without asking, when we sat down they brought us a basket of chips and three salsas on the house. We felt taken care of in a way that stands out compared to other restaurants.

If we lived in San Francisco, we would be regulars here. Definitely coming back any time we visit in the future! 10/10 would recommend, no notes.“

Just be sure & bring a good appetite or you will be walking out with leftovers. The kitchen is open M-F till 2pm. The deli is open M-S till 3? There are tables to sit & enjoy the food & watch a game on tv. Darby Dan's is wheelchair accessible. There is free parking lot or street parking.“

“The most lovingly-made and delicious sandwich around. Had a Reuben, husband had an executive club, both were perfect. The Dutch crunch they use is excellent - toasted to perfection with a great crunch and chew. Looks like it’s run by a sweet older couple who were the absolute nicest. Will absolutely come back if I’m in the area!

I catered an event in my home and the food arrived on time, piping hot, carefully marked for ingredients and allergens and was just so delicious. “My husband and I chose to use Melons catering for our wedding in November 2023 and could not have been happier with our decisions. We went into the process with one idea of what we wanted, but that quickly evolved over time and Sheldon, who we primarily communicated with, was beyond helpful. When it came time for our tasting at Melons, he helped us find a date that worked for all four of our attendees, never expressing any sort of annoyance or frustration at our ever-changing schedules. There was clarity when it came to payments and what exactly we were paying for and when/where payments could be made. So basically everything that came before the food had already blown our mind in terms of efficiency and customer service… now when we talk about the food, it is a whole other level of service. The food was INCREDIBLE. Food was one of the largest priorities for us at our wedding, and Melons hit the nail on the head. Everything we tried at the tasting was unreal. We ultimately decided to narrow down our menu and serve food family style as opposed to stationed, which worried me a little bit because of the size of our wedding and the timeliness of service… however, the servers from Melons crushed it. Everyone at the wedding spoke very highly of the food and service. I’ll also add in that we had a “floor captain” that was always coming and checking in on my husband and I to make sure we had everything we needed! This was huge, because as we made our way around, chatting and hugging, the last thing on our mind was eating! Being able to actually enjoy all the delicious food we had hand picked is something I don’t think many brides are able to attest to, but Melons made it happen!! All in all, I couldn’t recommend Melons more. Whether it be for a wedding, corporate event, or just special dinner… Melons will undoubtedly crush it!!“
