“We went here for restaurant week and while I wasn’t expecting much, I was underwhelmed by some of the dishes like the salad and the focaccia (with butter). I got the Wagyu Steak which was cooked well, and my favorite was the Chocolate Pot D’Creme. No qualms with the service, in fact the staff were friendly, and pace was ok. Overall it was just ok.

“This meal, which just happened to fall on Valentine's Day, was a lovely beginning to our trip which started with a flight out of SFO. Fortunately I had thought to make a reservation or we never would have gotten in. The service was warm, the atmosphere was cozy and not too dressy, and the food and wine were great. I especially enjoyed my risotto with scallops; while the scallops were small, they were tender and there were plenty of them. We will definitely keep this restaurant in mind when we visit the area in the future.“

There is a pool table and other tabletop shuffle board. Service was great. Orders can be placed at any number of touchscreen kiosks. When your order is ready you will get a text. Sit anywhere. “Fine-dining meal for $19!!This is a wonderful little restaurant, on the fourth floor of Burk Hall, that's only open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays currently. You should make a reservation on Yelp, but I think they allow walk-ins. There's a prix fix option, which is just under $20.50 after tax. You get to choose an appetizer, entree, and dessert, and drinks. Only cash or checks are accepted.The bread provided was foccacia cut into diamond-shaped pieces. The bread that they first brought out was hard and dry, so I told them it was hard. More bread was brought out promptly and it was softer, but still dry. I didn't tell them it was dry because I didn't want to be difficult. I had some lemonade to drink, and it was pretty good. I also had tea at the end, but it was piping hot and I didn't get a chance to drink much. It was fine.I chose to have the house green salad for my appetizer. It was a good mix of leafy-greens covered in vinaigrette. It wasn't special, but good. I decided to have the pasta of the week for my entree. It was penne pasta salad with feta cheese, capers, and cooked grape tomatoes. It was absolutely delicious and I basically inhaled it. For dessert, I chose the pumpkin bundt cake. It was fantastic. It was moist, soft, a little misshapen, but still delicious. The créme anglaise was like melted ice cream, and I loved it.The waiters were students and had more to learn. Service was very good, despite mistakes. The person who seemed like an instructor was great. You won't be able to find a three-course fine-dining meal anywhere else in San Francisco for the same price. The portions are good sizes and you'll leave feeling fed, but not stuffed. I highly recommend checking this place out.

“We were there on a layover and happened upon this restaurant. First of all our waitress was very attentive and thorough. Eve was there with extra napkins and pates. She was on the ball. “I've been staying and working in South San Francisco this week without a car. Have dined there for lunch 2 days in a row now, and both days I also brought back dinner to my hotel for the evening. I had 2 really dismal experiences earlier in the week with Doordash and only wish I had tried Foundry & Lux sooner. I'll be back tomorrow before heading back home on Saturday 😀“

“I cannot speak for the rest of the food, but I came here solely because some reviews gave their burger high praise… and honestly? It’s pretty great for an airport burger. I am surprisingly impressed. The flavor profile is great. The burger has this smoky taste to it that when blended with the flavor of the melted cheese really hits the spot. Additionally, the burger had a great sear / char to it and was cooked medium rare as requested.

Lastly, I appreciated the service provided by Franklin! Quick, friendly, and attentive. This next part is small but huge.. we got our bill super quickly. Great to see this airport restaurant knows what it is and knows most people don’t have much time to kill.“

“This place is honestly one of my favorite spots to eat. It’s a small, family-owned Chinese restaurant, and you can really feel the love in everything they do. The food tastes homemade — fresh, flavorful, and comforting in the best way. You can tell the recipes have been in the family for a long time.

The owners are super friendly and always make you feel welcome, like you’re eating at someone’s home instead of a restaurant. My go-to dishes are pot stickers and hot and sour soup, but honestly, everything I’ve tried has been great.

It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again — not just for the food, but for the warmth and kindness you get every time you walk in.

“I was staying in this Hilton and wasn't too hungry, but decided to get something from this restaurant. I sat at the bar and was helped by the bartender as soon as he was done with another customer. I ended up having a burger with sweet potato fries and they were both great. Of course the burger wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was much better than most restaurants, the sweet potato fries were perfectly done.

I read some of the reviews of this restaurant, a couple of them were for different places in the hotel, they're not open for breakfast and they don't carry packaged goods.

Some reviewers didn't like the pricing. It's not inexpensive, but I think it was priced right. The burger and fries were $22. McDonald's and Carl's Jr. are around $15-18 these days, $22 is a good deal for a great food in a nice hotel in one of the most expensive cities in the world. I had a cocktail, $16, this is the same that I pay at an average bar these days.

I thought that overall, the place was very clean and werll laid out, and the staff were all very professional. This is an area where people can get offended because you used the wrong hand to open a door, they're crazy, so to be able to find attentive, courteous, and professional employees, is amazing.

I will be staying here again, and I'll probably eat at Fire|Vine again.“

“Okay first of all everybody deserves a second chance. Today I went back and ordered the same meal fish and chips. First of all, let me say the customer service was good the first time but today Jesus went above and beyond to get the order correct. The fish was very good. The french fries were done and the coleslaw was served on a nice fresh leaf of lettuce. After walking like a mile to get to my gate from customs I am feeling 10/10 after this meal. A little pricey but everywhere in Cali is pricey.
