“Always drove by here and wondered if it was good. It's in a weird place in between a little market and another building. It's easy to miss and people probably thinks it's kinda sketchy because of the location... LET ME TELL YOU THAT THE FOOD IS BOMB!! the lady that runs this truck and possibly owns it not sure is the sweetest lady. I don't know but something about how she cooks the food makes it perfect... she has that touch... the flavor of the meats and just everything is on point!!! If you haven't stopped here you need to!! They are usually only open like late afternoon and night... just go you will be glad you did!!!
Parking: Hidden little place with basically no parking....“

“Great food. We ordered tostadas. They were topped with plenty of crab and shrimp. Next time I want to try the shrimp cocktail.
The restaraunt has plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. The place was fairly busy but the service was fast. The parking is tricky. Not enough places to park and they are small.“

“I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. The food is always amazing. Never disappoints. But nothing beats having the tag team Gabby and Arianna wait on you! I came in on a busy afternoon, but these two wonderful servers were quick to seat me and get drinks going (along with chips and salsa!). They were running all around trying to make sure all their tables and customers were taken care of. Such an amazing team those two! I wish all restaurants had servers like this. Food was delicious, and the service was even better. The BEST service comes from both Gabby and Arianna. Good job ladies!“

“We have been coming here for many years. The carnitas are always on point and delicious. We usually get an order of carnitas and buche to make tacos at home. Recently, we decided to try their tacos and they are pretty good. There was nowhere to sit inside. Service was good. Cash only!!“

“This lovely restaurant has excellent service. I got a chicken taco\sopa lunch combo. It was a lot of food! Food was served with 2-extra fresh made tortillas. So it was ironic that the chips tasted like bargain-store bought. The chicken was tasty but a little plain with a slight odd aftertaste. I know people don't usually think much about the water, but the water was filtered and yummier than usual. All in all I had a good meal, but I often go to a nearby place that I prefer.“

“I'm comparing to other taquerias, not some other type of restaurant. This is not a fine-dining sort of place, but if you want a quick meal in a casual atmosphere, this is a good choice. This has the feel of home cooking, complete with the attentive hostess/proprietor. She was delightful and offered us a sample of today's special (caldo de albondigas) before we ordered. It was delicious, so we went with that. We also ordered a couple of asada tacos--super tasty and she got my husband's special-order just right. The place is small and authentic feeling. They also have a comfortable outdoor seating area, which is where we chose to sit.The service was very fast.“

“I was craving their delicious, unforgettable sopes.
As soon as we walked in, the lady greeted us. She said we could sit anywhere and she was so friendly to all of us, including my baby.
The food was scrumptious. My mom loved her Caldo de Res. Her caldo came with a side of rice and hand made tortillas.
My enchilada plate was so delicious.
My daughter ordered an OJ and it’s so fresh. They make it right then and there.
It’s so calm inside- just the server, the customers, and the person cooking.
They have plants inside and a vase of sunflowers.
In addition, they have a bathroom for customers only.
Of course, the only downside is parking. Park on the street or behind the building but, you’ll be lucky if you can find any because there’s only a few spaces in the back. Do not park in the super market parking; they will tow your car.
Kid-friendliness: High chairs are available.“

“Been hitting this spot for decades! Awesome food, my go to on most visits is Camarones a la Vallarta. Tortilla de maiz.hechos a Mano..
Man you put some of those beans on the tortilla, drop like 3 of those bacon wrapped shrimp on top, put lemon all over, smother with the red salsa, put some of that red salsa and lemon on the lil salad they give you and go to town! Rinse, repeat.
If I have had a few too many cerveza might before, I go get the 7 mares y una Corona Bien helada. That will cure what ale's ya!“

“A friend recommended this place for "the best burritos" and they were SO right! We will drive from Monterey just for Ranch Milk's burritos. The shrimp burrito is my favorite, I've never tasted anything like it. Their carne asada burrito is also amazing. We also came here to watch the World Cup, they have a few TVs and they also sell alcohol.
Parking: Parking lot is easy to access and leave. There are plenty of spots and we've never had a problem finding parking“

“It is a restaurant that has varied dishes at good prices, they serve abundantly. All their dishes are very good, they have different accompaniments and there is no shortage of beans, tortillas and ?️ chili. You can ask for whatever you want. Excellent atention.
Parking: On site, easy access.“
“When the lady at the local fruit stand suggested this taco truck, we knew it would be good. A steady flow of locals ordering from the seafood-focused menu was all the more assuring. The tacos made with shrimp and with fish were yummy, staying true to the actual flavor of fresh seafood. Minimal dress up. The mixed ceviche served on tostada came with hot sauce and ketchup — a must. One of many Mexican taco trucks along Highway 1 well-worth a pit stop.“
“I don't usually visit food trucks because there are few places to sit and eat on site and this truck is no exception in that regard. It was the first food stop on Airport Blvd from the freeway. They served the best taco's I have ever tasted. Even the tortillas were made right there on site. I highly recommend this taco truck if you don't mind eating in the car or as a take out. You can even order on line if traveling past Watsonville for a grab and go but we chose to order at the window.“

“This would be a five star review if La Misma were not operating in the old location of La Fuente Taqueria. Everything at La Misma is just fine but La Fuente was one of the highlights of visiting Watsonville for me. The food at La Misma is nothing special and my nostalgia is still hungry.“

“The closest restaurant you will find to Abuelita’s kitchen. The food is as authentic as you can get! I always judge the authenticity of a Mexican restaurant by their beans, and their beans are spot on! Tacos de asada, nopal breakfast burritos and menudo is among my fave. The service is always great, the ladies their are always so welcoming and humble, they remind me of my tias. Give this small place a chance! You won’t regret it!“

“Greatest home cooking of all time. When I travel back home... I see my family, friends and Fidel's. The super carnitas burrito is exquisite! Love the people there... the same pretty lady has been there since I was introduced to, what was then, Hector's. May he rest in eternal peace and love. ?“

“Out of town met looking for dinner and based on google reviews we stopped here. The girl who took our order/server was very nice and even asked the kitchen for a meat not listed on the menu, which they had. Our food came hot and not long after we ordered. I got two quesabirrea tacos and I liked how they were filled with meat and not too much cheese, usually it’s the opposite. They were flavorful and came with enough consume. I was also able to add onion and cilantro and salsa from the salsa bar. My husband ordered two tacos de lengua and two de pastor. He said lengua itself didn’t have too much flavor but with salsa and sides it brought it together. Our only disappointment was they ran out of Mexican cokes. But overall we had a good experience. I recommend if your in the area to try this place out!“

“The chicken taco is excellent and a great value at $2.77. The salsa is just the right amount of kick. You can always make it hotter! The vegetarian taco is fresh and tasty at $2.10. A small fountain drink is $1.78, which will bring you to the $6.50 you need for the free chips. Horchata, Jamaica, Tamarindo and Pina for $2 small. Small seating area, but ample outdoor seating. Nearby Michuacan ice cream for dessert! I'll be back.“

“I was terrified when the restaurant closed at it's old location. I am so relieved to find them again. The best. I've ever had some freshly made tortillas and a salsa to die for. All in a Homestyle cozy restaurant. Looking forward coming here regularly.“
