I ordered a custom birthday cake and it was better than any cake I could've ever dreamed of! absolutely perfect in every way visually. The taste and texture was phenomenal, even the non vegan/GF party guests were RAVING that it was the best cake they'd ever had. It is so hard to find a fully vegan/GF bakery that does cakes that are artistic, unique, and STUNNING- I cannot say enough good things about Yvonne and her amazing team. “Looking for a sweet treat to share with your loved ones this Valentine's Day? Look no further than this amazing bakery my sister and I visited! We tried the Red Velvet Cinnamon Roll, Classic Cinnamon, Coffee Cake, Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookies, Cornbread Cookies and White Chocolate Macadamia. And let me tell you, they were all absolutely delicious!

My personal favorite has always been the Classic Cinnamon rolls. They're so moist and flavorful, even days later! The red velvet cinnamon rolls were a close second though. The coffee cake was perfect, the cookies were to die for, and our Hot Americano was served fresh and hot.

The only downside was the long wait - we stood in line for an hour on Valentine's Day! But the friendly staff and amazing treats made it worth it. Just make sure to plan ahead for parking, as they don't have a lot. Overall, a great experience and I highly recommend checking them out for yourself! #SweetTreats #ValentinesDayDelight 😋🧁☕️“

“The place is super cute inside. I came on a Saturday around 11am and didn't have to wait too long for a table. Service was great. Me and my friends just got brunch items, and it was satisfying but nothing memorable. Although, the almond croissant is absolutely to die for and made up for it. Definitely try the pastries here.“

“We ordered the pecan pie for Thanksgiving. It was the best part of our meal!! I've gone through a lot of pecan pies in my life. Always disappointed that the crust doesn't have the right amount of salt to balance the sweetness or that sweet gooey stuff around the pecans is artificial tasting or the pecans don't taste right. This pie is perfect from start to finish. It's made with real butter which I can taste. The pecans seem to be just slightly roasted and there's lots of them. I'm so happy with this place. I'm ready to try their other products. We ordered online and everything worked out perfectly. There's a bit of a line out the door but you have to understand why. It's just really really good. “Cinnabon Swirl – Pasadena is located right across from Pasadena City college at the corner of Bonnie Avenue and Colorado Boulevard. It is a great destination for both students and neighborhood clients. It has a positive energy that you feel immediately upon entering. I felt like I was going to a party. \n\nEveryone in the store says hello and gives you the opportunity to look at the selections available on their menu. The staff member I spoke with explained the options and was eager to offer free samples. I decided for this visit on the classic full size Cinnabon. It was carefully boxed and placed in a bag. I tasted the soft serve ice cream and decided it would be my next purchase on a future visit. \n\nI walked around to look at the different displays and refrigerated items available for purchase. The store is bright and cheerful. \n\nAfter a short walk home I enjoyed my Cinnabon for my evening dessert. I think this would be a great breakfast with a good cup of coffee. Great cinnamon flavor as you work your way to the middle cinnamon pastry. Fresh and tasty! \n\nCaravel Ice Cream has always been a favorite, so I look forward to my next visit to give it a try. \n\nThere is parking on the side of the building or in the back. \n\nThis is a great neighborhood for walking with a lot of boutique restaurants and stores. A great place to window shop and get some exercise. \n\nI look forward to enjoying my next visit as much as I did my first!“

“Pastries are really good here, the crossaints and the bread are really good. Family lives super close to tartine, so whenever my grandma has time, she’ll take us to tartine. Once I ordered the salmon and cream cheese sandwich. (Forgot if it had eggs) It was so good, and the smoked salmon melted in my mouth. I’ll come back soon!“

“Cozy boba shop that’s off the beaten path. Shares a Hong Kong milk tea with my sister here after lunch and ordered it to go. There’s a small amount of seating inside. I liked the creaminess of the drink and the boba was nice and chewy. It seems to be locally owned and I’m all about supporting small businesses. Credit cards are accepted.“

“I can’t say enough great things! I went out on a limb and called Valentine Sweets. I live in New York, however my brother lives in Pasadena! I was doing a gender reveal for my friends and family in New York and wanted my brother to be included. I called early in the morning and spoke to the decorator Tatiana. I explained I needed one single custom gender reveal cupcake and she had no issues with the request or making it happen! A simple cute vanilla cupcake. Decorated with blue and pink sprinkles. And surprise pink frosting in the middle! She had the cupcake done within a couple hours for my brother to pick up! She had great communication and texted me when it was ready. Besides the fact that it was adorable,
My brother said it was delicious! I am upset I don’t live local myself to try it! Amazing service and communication. I can’t recommend enough for special occasions!“

“I always make it a point to go to dots when I'm in town from Seattle, I was bummed to find out that their fair Oaks location closed but delighted to see this one here on Colorado. It's bigger with more food options, café style. The cupcakes of course are still delicious, lots of great options. Beautiful cafe, friendly service.“

“I came here for the pan dulce. I thought it was a fair price for the bag and it tasted fresh and decent quality. I’m not sure how much each piece costs, next time I’ll ask. If you want cheaper bread it will not be as tasty. Street Parking is a little tight to get here, I wish it was a little easier. Also, their selection of pan dulce was less than I anticipated for a panaderia, perhaps they have low demand, but they have sufficient selection you have a pan dulce craving. I did think the conchas were superior to supermarket conchas. They are cash only, or Zelle, which I am not a huge fan of, but I can live with it, they are a small business, I think. They have a mural of La Virgen with flowers (offerings?) outside their store if you’re into that. Service was basic, I wasn’t greeted but didn’t expect to be. I will probably come again, for pan dulce.“
